After answering my questions, he got straight to work, and finished in a timely manner. I really appreciate the before and after pictures, as well as offering reminder texts when it's time for the next cleaning. He also offers bird netting to protect your panels, and he offered a very generous bundle price if we decided to add on the bird netting during our next cleaning. Recent winter storms were just not enough to get them thoroughly clean and producing as much power as possible. Sent a text to Evergreen Solar Clean and other companies to get some quotes. Most other companies did not service my area and the one that did was way out of the ballpark! Evergreen Solar Clean was a lot more competitive with their bid and I decided to make an appointment. Blake was able to get me on their schedule and gave me a three hour time frame. About thirty mins. before my appointment, I received a text that his technician, PJ, was on the way. PJ promptly showed up at my door and after short introductions, started getting all his equipment ready and got to work. What I really loved about Evergreen Solar clean is that they use deionized water that they carry on their trucks and Sola-Tec roller brush cleaners, which are rolling brushes attached to wheels that glide across the solar panels with the deionized water flowing through them. Scheduling was easy and the basic exterior cleaning work was okay, but unfortunately the…read morefollow-through was disappointing. The crew removed the upstairs window screens as part of the cleaning. According to the company, they were still responsible for cleaning the screens, but they had arranged for my interior cleaners, who were working at the house at the same time, to put the screens back afterward. The problem is that the upstairs screens were never cleaned in the first place, and my interior cleaners said they were never told or asked to reinstall them. After everyone left, I discovered the upstairs screens were still dirty and had been left off the windows. When I contacted the company to resolve the issue, I was told they could not come back because the property was too far away and they did not have any other jobs in the area. I was also unable to personally inspect the windows and screens after they were eventually reinstalled. The current occupants are now telling me that some of the screens appear to be bent. Since I wasn't able to inspect them immediately after the cleaning, I can't say exactly when or how that happened, but it adds to the frustration of how the screens were handled and the lack of follow-through. Regardless of who was supposedly responsible for putting the screens back, cleaning them was part of the exterior company's work and that was not completed. There also appears to have been poor communication regarding who was responsible for reinstalling them. Overall, scheduling was easy and the basic cleaning was fine, but leaving the screens dirty and removed, followed by an unwillingness to return and correct the issue, was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would recommend using a different company.
