We were greeted very pleasantly & while driving to our site, we thought the sites looked quite nice. We stayed in Site #44 & it was level (unlike some of the reviews that said the sites were terribly undeveloped); we did find that the breaker on the power pole didn't work & we called right away & within a very short time, a really pleasant maintenance guy came, discovered he needed to replace the breaker, went right away & got it & we were able to setup not long after! We walked the entire property & found a lovely pool, a very cute putt-putt & lovely flowers & well cared for plants/trees everywhere. They have a really nice gift shop & game room & they sell Hunts Bros Pizzas that you can pick up. We had good water pressure & lovely views from our site, with no close by neighbors. We have been RV'ing for 13 years & have seen all types of RV parks--this one definitely does not deserve any of the bad reviews it has gotten, in my opinion!

We arrived Friday approximately 5 PM after a long down the road due to a few stops and heavy traffic, not to mention the terrain, after departing St. George, South Carolina. Yes, the spaces are a little tight if 100% filled however, I certainly didn't see anywhere, as mentioned by another reviewer, a sewer hook up 36 inches from a fire pit. They also offer a nice little café and sundry shop in their office. My wife and I had some of their breakfast pizza as well as a lunch pizza and chicken wings. All three were absolutely delicious! There is a small pool for children as well as a splash area. Additionally, there's a rather novel putt putt golf and gem mining area. In addition to RV spaces there are small apartments and large apartments. There are a number of long-term residents at the majority are short term rental. We liked it so much. We bookmarked it for a future stop if we're passing through the area. Keep up the great work!

If you just want a basic resort, that's inexpensive and offers a lot of amenities, try Glade Springs.

I've had a good experience living here, and I'd recommend that anyone looking for an apartment in Blacksburg check out Park37. If you've read this far, here are a few more details worth mentioning: Park37 has two (2) conference rooms and a workshop room. As a grad student, I've used the conference rooms lots of times for research meetings and also to host game nights with friends. The workshop room has a bike repair rack that I've used on several occasions to put air in my tires or when I needed a large workbench where I can spread out books and tools for lab projects. I didn't expect an apartment complex to have these commons areas, but they've definitely been very useful for me.

There has been an increasing emphasis on all the owners to improve the units and many have undergone total refurbishment. Its location in the Central Village, but well enough away to remain calm, is enviable. The Summit Homeowners recently voted to end their association with Snowshoe group sales to ensure they maintaing themselves as a venue for families and small groups and not as a large group outlet with the accompanying rowdiness. It's obvious the owners care about their place as everything looks new like carpet, tile floors in the bathrooms, appliances, washer and dryer, sofa. Additionally, the beds are the best night's sleep I ever had; I looked and saw they were memory foam, rare for a rental but much appreciated! There are flat screens in all the rooms, living room is 42" and master bedroom looks to be 32". In other units I have stayed in there were 1 or 2 tv's and they are smaller so that was nice. The unit had PS2 and tons of games for my kids, they also provided lots of board games, DVD's and about 50 books as well! The view from the Deck is just great, you have unobstructed views for 50 miles. Another plus is that the deer hang out at Summit, since it is wooded, where the places in the Village are not. Being across from the Village for us worked out great, you can walk to the slopes, take the shuttle or in our case, drive the car for 20 seconds, drop everyone off right in the Village At night, when the Village gets loud until very late, it can be tough to sleep but at Summit, you don't hear a sound. The owners at Summit 307B obviously go out of their way to make sure that renters like us are comfortable and it shows. Whenever we go to Snowshoe, we always ask the reservation person to book us into 307B and we are always so happy to stay there. Thanks to the owners of 307B for making your rental home so enjoyable!

Options for quality rentals in Blacksburg can sometimes be difficult to come by, so I felt fortunate when a place owned and managed by Hill Companies came available. Steve Hill worked with my schedule, got a lease quickly together, and communicated with me prior to move-in. He had the entire place repainted and cleaned in two days, and followed up with me the day after move-in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. THEN, when I discovered a *very* minor issue with the plumbing, rather than saying "deal with it" (which I offered to do), he paid for a fix to be made so that it was done right. Very happy with the decision to rent from Hill Companies, and I'd recommend anyone else do the same.

Finally got through to someone and they said they'd schedule a tour and get back to me, surprise suprise they never did. It took me reaching out after 2 weeks of silence for them to tell me the apartment was no longer available even though it was still listed on their website and family friendly, and on top of that the message wasn't friendly or apologetic. Horrible customer service, I feel sorry for the tenant who's renting that place for having to deal with them for the next year.
