Hi All, Had some work done by Winters on our pellet stove and cleaning a few years ago. Was done well but took 2 visits. We decided to revisit Winters for window / pellet stove cleaning. They arrived on time and got right to work. Randy and Reese were complete professionals and cared for our house. Wholly poop Randy climbed on a 12x12 pitch roof 35 ft up roof with just a ladder and serviced out spark arrester and exhaust. Damn impressed. Reese climbed 25 ft on extension ladder to clean our cathedral windows and returned several times when he saw a bit of debris. All came out perfect in the afternoon sunlight. Can't say enough good. Will have them return in a few months for a repeat. read more

I have a very difficult fireplace to clean. I had it cleaned in November by a different company and had problems with it right from the start.. By January it was impossible to use. It would smoke so badly it set off my smoke alarms. I called Winters and immediately noticed a vast difference. Righty from the start the fireplace performance was greatly improved. The other company did not use their brushes nearly as strenuously, they refused to climb onto the roof to check the screen. and they did not even own the super powerful vacuum that Winters used . The two men from Winters who came out, understood how my Swedish fireplace with pizza oven works and did everything right. They were very professional. neat and very friendly. We recently bought a cabin with two stoves up the hill from Sonora. Being Lowlanders, we thought of having our two stoves inspected and cleaned, but alas, it was put on the to-do later list. That was a month ago and then we had a creosote fire with grandchildren around. It was a sobering experience. Let me share why our family is thankful to WCS. We FINALLY called James yesterday and he sent Ryan and Justin to inspect and clean up our stoves. Their attention to detail and explanations were very helpful and instructive. These are two chaps who simply do not get the work done in the fastest time necessary, then leave. They are fully aware and are effective communicators concerning the preventative measures and actions that are continuously necessary to keep our family safe while we enjoy the ambience of a winter fire. They made a difference. My eldest has a cabin down the street, and i will make sure WCS will inspect, clean and service for the both of our cabins. The task here was locating which dryer vent was mine as I am one of six units, they were able to find it and cleared it and did an amazing job. I am going to recommend that other tenants in my location do the same if nothing but out of pure safety.When making my appointment I started off with Justin who was very knowledgeable and walk me through the process of having my dryer vent cleaned as I live in a 30 year old complex and I'm unsure if anybody has ever clean the dryer vent before. The complex had a fire in 2019 that was very devastating to half of the complex which did not include my unit so I wanted to have the dryer ducts cleaned as it was taking almost 2 hours to dry my clothes. The guys showed up on the dot of when Justin said they would and got right to work. Great Service! I called three companies Tuesday morning to get my chimney cleaned out. The first company basically quoted me $475 - No thanks. The second company took my info and said their scheduler would need to call me back. They called me back on Wednesday afternoon. When I called Winters, I spoke with Justin who immediately scheduled an appointment for Thursday. He called me back and told me there was a scheduling issue and if Wednesday was ok. GREAT FOR ME! Hired this company to clean my windows, I might as well found some high school kids on the corner and would have had same results. What an unprofessional company to say the least. When I called to explain to them how the cleaning went , they said they would no longer do business with me. I guess they only want to hear good things and not the truth. I thought about having my windows done for a year or so. Little did I know that you should plan ahead, because you're not alone in wanting clean windows. I called in June and got the work scheduled for late July. That wasn't too long to wait compared to other cleaning services. The cleaning team arrived on time and went to work immediately. I didn't count heads but it was a large crew that were very compatible working together in sync. I was busy in another room but when I returned to check out their work I was in awe of how clean the windows were and how green my trees looked through the chalet windows. Even the screens were taken off and washed thoroughly. I remember being told that one of the seals had failed in a kitchen window but my windows were so dirty I didn't know which one it was, but I do now LOL Next call is the glass company to replace that window so everything looks perfectly clean. We couldn't be happier with this service and I'm now on an annual schedule. They are a multi service cleaning company so if you need any kind of cleaning check out Winters Cleaning Services. I called Winters Cleaning Service on very short notice asking them to come and inspect and clean the fireplace and chimney on our recently purchased cabin in Long Barn. They arrived early, were very friendly, laid out protective cloth and did a thorough cleaning of the fireplace and chimney. They vacuumed up and left that area pristine. Finally got someone out to my rental for a routine chimney sweep after a no show on my tenants as well as a cancellation due to the weather. Tech showed up and told my tenant that the whole system looked hokey and needed to be replaced!! Not me! The home owner!! They only say this to get you to use them for a county replacement program! We had window cleaning scheduled with Winters for 2 weeks when April called 5 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive to say that they wouldn't be able to make it. Very unprofessional and disappointing since we had already moved all the furniture in readiness for window washing. The earliest she could reschedule was 2 1/2 weeks out, which was unacceptable. Windows cleaned. Windows looked better but window tracks are still filthy and they don't use a vacuum to suck up anything in the tracks.

I have been a customer of Winters for the last three years. The crews have always done an excellent job. Their prices have gone way too high. The price increase in the last two years was over $100 up to $240. Next year, I will be looking for a more reasonably priced alternative. read more

Wow! We recently purchased a cabin in Camp Connell with really dirty windows, and I hired Winters to do the window cleaning while we were not there. When we arrived today I was pleasantly surprised, the window cleaning was stupendous! Not only did the windows look great, but the screens did as well, and best of all, they cleaned the gross window tracks that I'm sure had not been done in years. We've had good luck with all our window cleaning services the last 5 years. Our regular guy moved and recommended we try Winter's. They were even better! Very professional, competitive rates, and perfect job! The crew (Ryan & a lady) couldn't have been more accommodating and got every spot removed from all the windows. Our house is 3300 square feet with large picture windows and walk-out basement. They blew off the roof and cleaned the gutters, as well. The whole job was completed under 4 hours. Disappointed! We had to wait for several weeks for an appointment, which was understandable because of the weather, but then the evening before they were scheduled to arrive the owner called to say that he had a "bigger" job scheduled for that day and had forgotten to put us on the calendar. When the workers did show up they said that they didn't bring the right equipment (our side gutters cannot be reached by ladder and require a harness system). This was frustrating because they had cleaned the gutters 5 months ago for the previous owner of the house, so they should have been aware of the conditions. I called the owner and he recommended that we have them install a gutter guard and we scheduled another appointment. They didn't show up or call on the appointed day, so we called them and they said that they decided not to do the job because their workman's comp would not cover it.
