There is an abandoned old mini above ground train station above the JMZ platforms that are not used anymore so there are many train lines all over the place in Myrtle Avenue. One bad thing about this train station is the fried chicken smell when you get off the train. The smell is stronger in the Queens platform. Cannot believe the smell is so damn strong from the Popeyes downstairs. The other Popeyes are not that strong as this one. This one is probably frying too much chicken or have weird ventilation.

( this is the first stop and the last stop on G-Train…read moresubway line ) . it's very convient you have transfer bus to the B35 bus and the B103 and etc buses as well. If you're going to coney island you can take this stop as well take the F-Train . the opposite direction you can catch the F- Train into Manhattan or Jamaica ,Queens . same for the G- Train you can catch the G-Train in to queens - Long island city section of queens and several stops in Brooklyn as well . I usually come here when I have to ahead in to queens without going to Manhattan or if i'm headed to Williamsburg I'll catch the G- Train as well !!!!

I remember this station was very grimey, excessively gritty, and seedy in the 1970s and 1980s decades setting the dismyal stigma image for New York City. However, Nostrand Avenue subway station has improved since those days, but nevertheless err on the side of caution. It is currently not ADA accessible, but a work-in-progress plan to become ADA accessible as part of the MTA's Capital Program 2020-2024.

It's insulting to all passengers to ride the subways and endure unsanitary conditions especially with a pandemic going on. I do not expect any improvements from the Governor or next Mayor. The only person who understood our Metro system was Andy Byford. New Yorkers deserve better than this.

This Train station stop connects with the B35 bus on 39 street & 4 street. while the B37 bus connects on 36 street and 3 street - (right under Gowanus expressway / connects with the Prospect expressway). there a lot of companies in the area. there the Costco store and the liberty industrial building - which rent out high-end retail stores, near this train station

This is usually quiet even during rush hour, because most people have no reason to get off here, unless they knew they could see Chris Wallace. At the corner of Nostrand and Quincy is a mural of the Notorious B.I.G. This is something attention seekers need to put on Facebook and Instagram. If you're hungry you can find a few hipster eateries. It's getting to be like Williamsburg, with hipsters and very high prices. This still has some of the ghetto charm though.

Was meeting my nephew at a restaurant near Prospect Park. I think this is the first time I've used…read morethis station to visit the Park. I usually take the 2 and get off at Grand Army Plaza. The station was clean and I loved the nostalgic wall if you will highlighting,, of course, Prospect Park. The Carousel is one special highlight of the Park as well as the glorious Boathouse utilized for weddings. The station sits between Ocean Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. The sign for the Bklyn Botanical Garden reminds you that the Garden is roughly a ten minute walk from this station. I believe it leads you the back entrance of Garden at Eastern Parkway. I also loved the old colored tiling that dotted the interior and exterior of Station. Another great aha moment is if I wanted to take a bus back to Bay Ridge, the B16 is located outside the station; it's good to have alternative mode of transportation. In addition, there are a plethora of restaurants outside the station. Best thing: 2 minute walk to Prospect Park!

The Bedford Avenue station is a very busy subway station in Williamsburg. It is the second busiest…read morestation in Brooklyn. It first opened 100 years ago in 1924. Imagine how many people have ridden on the L Line as one of the first segments of the underground Canarsie Line over the past 100 years. Amazing! No Less Than Everything Comes Together. Going back and forth from Williamsburg to Prospect Heights meant a lot of trips from this station through Manhattan. I don't think I'll ever understand why there still isn't a way to get from Brooklyn to Brooklyn without going through Manhattan. Yet, it allowed me to discover a series of beautiful mosaics by Marcel Dzama. The Sun. The Moon. The Sky. All connected in No Less Than Everything Comes Together by Marcel Dzama. The mosaics are so interesting and detailed. Dzama cites that he was influenced by the great Dada movement artist, Marcel Duchamp, but the mosaics remind me more of the Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. Either way, the mosaics are so fun and playful. Take a few minutes on your vacation or your daily commute to enjoy the whimsical dancers, the sun, the moon and a few historical characters that all play a part in the mosaics in the underground Bedford Avenue Subway.
