Dovenmuehle bought my mortgage from my last bank and to say I was underwhelmed by them from the…read morebeginning would be an understatement. Getting anyone on the phone is taxing, and when you do speak to someone it's a crap shoot on whether or not they will help and/or be personable. With the rates dropping I contacted Dovenmuehle to see if they offered options for loan modifications hoping it would be cheaper than a complete refinance. They said they'd send me info on the process. Well, they instead put me into forbearance and stopped my auto payments. It took almost a month of phone calls and time to straighten it out and get out of forbearance.....something in ever should have been in! I wouldn't doubt it was a stat for them. Well, the good news is they just sold my loan to another bank. I was going to refinance just to get away from Dovenmuehle but now I'll give it a couple months to see how this one goes. What's the harm in having yet another bank have all of my info.

Every time I called in, I had to answer tons questions, even though I provided account #, social, last payment etc.... And even still sometimes they would not give me any info. The service was so poor and sketchy that I decided to just pay the loan off and not deal with that kind of bank. Even the payoff method was sketchy. I received payoff instructions that to be hand typed, and the look like it was out from a printer and running out of ink. I couldn't read the payoff . So again I had to call the bank and they would not give me any information or was no help. It took about two months to pay the loan off.

WORST COMPANY EVER - WASTED MY TIME AND DEAL!…read more THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I brought up a time-sensitive, hard-money deal and submitted everything exactly as they asked. I am under contract. All they did was send automated emails with the same repetitive answers over and over. The representative, Alyce, ignored my repeated messages until I strongly called out that they were not taking business seriously--only then did they start responding. Stay away from this company, or you risk losing valuable opportunities. This was the worst experience I've ever had--they wasted 3 of my most valuable days. Response: Jason's statement is false. We responded multiple times to the emails sent by your automated system, yet your system continued sending the same auto-generated messages over and over. To remove any doubt, we forwarded our replies back to Jason twice, clearly showing our responses. Each time, he claimed he "never received them." At that point, the issue was clearly either a failure of your internal email system or a refusal to acknowledge documented replies. Blaming the customer for "not responding" while ignoring forwarded proof is misleading and unacceptable. The claim that we were unprofessional or failed to communicate is a convenient narrative that does not align with the documented email trail. Rather than owning a breakdown in communication, this response attempts to rewrite the facts. Based on our experience, this company lacks transparency and accountability. We stand by our review and our written proof.
