Shoes can be worn in this area and it's like an obstacle course. There is legit gymnastics stuff here, like balance beams and uneven bars. Aside from the play gym, aspiring gymnasts probably also train here. My friend had the whole place for the party, but there are two party rooms, so it probably can host two parties simultaneously. Such a fun place to have a kids' party!

Set up is cool, upper floor seems like for the younger population vs. the bottom floor for more of the adults. The 2 Stars also stood around after the event to talk to everyone and take pictures! I highly, highly recommend this event! After that, I have to say things went off the rails a bit. For a start, this is the first "theatre" that had no stage. Not a small stage, no stage at all. We found ourselves, a group of 30-40 people crammed into a large room on the second floor with barely any room in July with AC so weak it was never below 76F. Then the show began. I was expecting a curtain to rise and a stage to appear, but sadly all the story and acting was done between the tables. I will say the acting ranged from surprisingly good to the obviously inispired acting of the audience members who decided to join in. The story was comedic and easy to follow, with references to Sherlock Holmes and even Indiana Jones. Sadly the heat and the terrible location without a stage made it hard to enjoy when the cast is constantly moving around. If they get a proper venue, I am sure they do wonderful things, but this was more like a test run. That I paid for.

My son attends the Reston Mindframe campus for support for virtual learning and camps during…read moresummer, spring break, and teacher in-service days. He's so, so happy at Mindframe! He asks if I can pick him up later on the days I happen to end work early. Now the public schools are saying kids can come back four days a week, my son says he wants to stay at Mindframe instead. I can't think of a good reason why he should switch. He's so much happier and paying attention better than when he tried to do virtual school from home. And there are much fewer distractions during class time at Mindframe than in his school, while there are more opportunities to create and design with friends during the breaks and after school. He loves the teachers. He's bonded with the other kids. He's able to focus on the STEM areas, which are his strengths, in his downtime. I'm very grateful we found Mindframe. It's make all the difference for both my son and me.
