This store only sells duds radios apparently. I bought a CD player here and had issues right out the gate. Luckily at that time it was still under warranty. But the replacement also stopped working. I live about an hour away so it's not easy to stop in and have it looked at. When I got around to it, they WOULD NOT REPLACE the 3rd bad CD player, because by that time it was out of warranty. In the end I ended up wasting 6 hours of drive time and no working CD player. They were happy to take my money, if I wanted to pay for another installation and CD player however. I just wanted the product I paid for to work the first or second or third time. Horrible experience. They'll take your money easily, just don't expect the products to last. Lastly, they don't have chairs for you to sit in while you wait. So, my daughter and I sat on the floor for 40 mins. The owner doesn't live in washington, so I don't think he actually cares. I wanted to pay for my install up front, even though it is legal - a company should not make a customer eat the companies CC fee (which mine was $16), especially when you are paying hundreds of dollars for a services. (copy pasted from my google review) I had all my windows tinted on my car at Aspen Sound. After receiving the car and driving it home I noticed there were a ton of bubbles. I'm not talking about a few here and there, I mean I counted up to 30 of them and then gave up. Upon calling them they told me they would go away after a week (spoiler alert: they didn't). I took the car back and showed them the piss poor work and they said they'd have the manager call me back when he arrives the next day. After getting home I noticed that their technicians had damaged my car in THREE separate locations and didn't say a peep about it. At this point I didn't want them to redo it out of fear they'd damage my car again. I just wanted my money back so I could have an actual professional rip off their awful tint (which by the way had a weird brown color to it) and do a proper job. Their manager refused to issue a refund, only offering to redo the tint. I had to go through my bank/credit card company to get my money back. All I'm saying is I took my car to car toys to get an estimate of how much it would cost to fix the subs in my car. They estimated it to be $300. I got a second opinion at Aspen sound and they fixed it in at afternoon for $35. The service was good and much cheaper read more

I purchased car stereo products for my 2015 mustang in the Spokane Valley. Had the equipment installed at the north Spokane store. The initial install was so so. Car was left messy and one Item was mounted not in the place I asked it to be. The system sounded good though. Then next day when I opened the door to the car there was a loud popping and thumping sounds from the speakers. Called Aspen Sound they said bring it back. They worked on it for the whole day again and they told me they weren't real sure what was wrong. They told me they would have to do some more research on the problem and they would get back to me. I called them several times throughout the rest of the summer with no resolution. I called them in early September and asked again any idea what was wrong they said no. I THEN INFORMED THEM THE CAR WILL BE PUT AWAY FOR THE WINTER ONLY DRIVEN IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. Aspen sound said fine call us next spring. Year later I called them in the spring time they said bring it down and they would work on it again took the car down on a nice day they worked on it all day again removed a couple parts adjusted some stuff and told me they think they fixed it. About a week later the popping and thumping sounds were back just like before. Called them back and Aspen sound said they did not no what to do they would need to do more checking. This went on the whole summer with no fix to the systems problems. Once again car was put into storage for the winter. During the winter I tried to talk with Aspen sound was told I would need to talk with store manager but we failed to ever talk was never there or never returned calls. Third summer comes around and go back To Aspen sound asked about the car they still had no idea what was wrong I complained asked for refund and I was told due to the length of time that all of my products I purchased were out of warranty now and could not be returned. Words cannot describe the most amazing experience I had! They were able to squeeze me in when they were insanely busy and they fixed my car in RECORD time (literally 24 minutes) and didn't even charge me. When you are a mom and have a little baby this was a dream. These guys are the absolute sweetest, most knowledgeable guys there are. I will not take my car anywhere else and you shouldn't either! Had aspen sound install 2 remote starts for me one weekend. These guys have always been good to me, they were able to get me in fast and had the best price around town. And they were the only place that had a remote capable to reach as far as they do, up to 2mi and so far I've tested them up to a mile and the cars started no problem! During my first install they broke interior parts of my car and did not tell me. Then for my second install they remove part of the mounting bracket for the power inverter in my car shoved the amp underneath of it. This short of the power out to the inverter it has now cost me money. I strongly recommend you take your stereo business elsewhere for purchases and installation. read more

This review is long overdue, I hired Aspen in Sept 2017 to mount a 65 Inch LG OLED TV (I didn't trust myself to mount a $3k TV). There quote was a bit more $ then I expected, but they could get out and do it shortly after I called. 2 Gentlemen came out to install (seemed like an experienced guy and a trainee). They ended up not having what they needed for the install, so left and went to Home Depot to get it. They ended up having to make some modifications to my Costco TV mount to make it work, and the install took much much longer than I expected. They did end up having to redo the work as their measurements were off. This left several holes in the wall, which they came back out a few days later to fix. At the end of the day, it took longer and they messed up, but they owned it and made it right. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I went in with a simple problem. I had two wires crossed on a DIY installation and it was obvious. So obvious when a buddy looked at it we were done in 30 minutes. They wanted to charge me several hours of installation time. When I questioned the diagnosis the manager accused me of not wanting to pay. I ate the $35 fee and finished the install. Later I asked to be taken off their email chain. The web master told me to do it myself. I remarked how inept his company was and he said not to come in to their store again... AS IF BUDDY!!! I have bought 4 different items from both locations of Aspen sound, they have installed all 4 and all 4 never worked correctly!!! the latest is a remote start and every time I try to use my remote start, my car alarm goes off!!! never again. read more

Awful! We recently removed a stereo they had installed a couple years ago, and discovered it had been very poorly installed! Wires were wrapped around screws and cables were twisted around the latch in the glove compartment in a rigged up mess! I took it in to ask about the wires and cables, and was told there was no record of me having the work done there, so too bad. The entire time I was there, the music was loud, extremely foul and derogatory, to the point that I could hardly concentrate on our conversation. I realize it's a stereo store, but not everyone wants to have the F word screamed at them over multiple speakers, repetitively, for their entire transaction. They originally charged me for a harnessing kit with the install, but they didn't even use one. Rude, unprofessional, overpriced and crummy workmanship. You're better off to go somewhere else! read more

Just got my sub-woofer and amp tuned by Aspen Sound in the valley. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even used the DD-1 amp distortion tester instead of tuning it by ear. I am very happy and my system sounds great now! read more
