I reached out to this company after reading reviews. I got a call back from Brian, who answered all my questions, and I decided to press forward. He hooked me up with Chase, the technician who'd do the install. Chase showed up for the initial assessment, and helped me make sense of camera placement, etc. When Chase showed up for the install, he was just as professional, and answered any additional questions I had. All I had to do was stay out of his way and let him work. He showed me everything I needed to know in terms of the camera app and made sure to walk with me to confirm camera views. A true professional. I had an issue with the software, and received an immediate callback from Dustin, who helped me clear up my issue. Really good experience so far all the way around.

Unfortunately, they had a change with their team which negatively affected my experience. They worked with me to ensure I was satisfied, something you don't always see these days. Actually, I half expected them to write me off and cut my losses, thinking I could never be satisfied or something. The fact they stuck with me made me feel understood and trusted, so in return I feel I must do the same. They'll still get referrals from me, because I don't think those guys that screwed up my install work for them anymore. PS- if you can get Josh from Austin to do your install, I highly recommend!! I have had the WORST experience and DO NOT recommend this company. Feel free to tap my name and send me a private message, if you want to know more details. I can at least tell you who you don't want to deal with. This has been so frustrating, I'd hate for anyone else to have the same experience. All the other reviews seem a bit dated so maybe they have new people working because my experience was nowhere near consistent with the other 5-star reviews. The install started Saturday... yet two technicians and three in-home visits later... and one more "planned" for tomorrow... who knows when it will get done?! I honestly can't believe I'm paying for this. My home is less than 2 weeks old (brand new, just built) yet the technicians have managed to screw up my electrical wiring (no electricity to my master bedroom) and blew two transformers. The second blown transformer is why they've got to come out the fourth time. To top it off, the second technician committed to coming at 5:30pm but acts like it's an inconvenience and would rather come earlier. I get it, don't agree to it and have True Protection send someone else (don't accept the job). True Protection does not seem to care... gave me a free lock for my door - thanks, but this service still sucks! Brett said he is going to make this right with a third technician.     If I could give negative stars I would, I have requested to speak with the GM on 3 separate…read moreoccasions and have been met with silence. JT has become unresponsive completely. Absolutely horrible experience with Home Alarm LLC. From the beginning, communication was misleading, promises weren't followed through on, and getting straight answers became nearly impossible once paperwork was signed. Trying to cancel or get assistance turned into a complete runaround. The sales tactics felt extremely pushy, and after installation, support suddenly disappeared. Calls went unanswered, messages ignored, and every conversation seemed to lead to another excuse. I was left feeling trapped in a contract I no longer wanted, while nobody seemed interested in actually helping resolve the issue professionally. If you value honesty, transparency, and customer service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before doing business with this company. This has easily been one of the most frustrating consumer experiences I've dealt with in years. Useless equipment and broken promises aren't even my issue, the customer service is nonexistent. I am still in my cancelation period and there's no response.

Pushy and full of himself, fast talking BS and interrupts and speaks over you. The install was horrid, the 2 cameras and free install he promised was NOT done and excuse after excuse, offered a stupid door lock instead that wasn't installed correct (it was crooked) so the door wouldn't lock completely, tried to call John severals times, left messages and just silence. No one called back and he never responded until we texted him that we ARE SEEKING legal counsel with this bait and switch practice they are pulling. When he finally did respond he was again so full of himself he wouldn't listen to reason that what he promised did NOT happen and the fact that my 93 year old mother couldn't possibly get to the panel in time or a bad fall in the process meant nothing to him. No empathy or understanding of that possibility was just plain rude and unsympathetic to an old lady falling and really hurting herself. I was furious. ADT was even worse trying to fix the issues these "authorised Dealers" caused. It was a nightmare from start to end. We are going to take this to ADT CEO and let him know exactly what their dealers are pulling on hard working Americans. Shameful and uncalled for. We are good people who were taken advantage of and we won't forget it. Now we are stuck with crappy equipment that doesn't work, the door sensors keep falling off the doors and if I could take a sledge hammer to the panel I would. Run far and fast from this fraud Co. bc the settlement should never have even got to that point. Bad lousy business practice, that should be all you need to know to stay far far away!!
