Unfortunately, this is now the second time T-Mobile has sold me a defective Samsung device. What's even worse has been the lack of support afterward. My elderly mother has had to go back to the Miami Lakes store FIVE times trying to get help. While Norland and Luis were kind and tried their best to help reset the phone, the problem returned as soon as she got home. Other employees (2 young ladies) that are working in the day time were unfortunately not knowledgeable or helpful at all. I've also spent hours calling 611 and speaking to multiple representatives, including Whitney and Phil, with no real resolution. Despite paying for protection coverage on the phone, no one seems willing to stand behind the product or properly help us. I've been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 11 years, but this experience has made me feel like loyalty means nothing. It honestly feels like new customers get treated better than long-term ones. The most upsetting part is that this has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my mother, who should not have to keep returning to the store over and over for a brand-new phone that never worked properly from the start. Very disappointed in both the product and the customer service experience. If I would be able to give them a 0 star rating I would!

Customer service confirmed to me that I was eligible for buyer's remorse. However, due to the Christmas and New Year holidays and the phone being out of stock, the exchange process was delayed despite my repeated attempts to resolve the matter promptly. This delay was entirely beyond my control. In addition, the original phone was malfunctioning from the first day, and I reported this issue to the store immediately. Despite informing staff that the device was defective since day one, the issue was not properly addressed. During this period, the main store manager was repeatedly unavailable and failed to report on the days he was scheduled to work. He later left for vacation, leaving the issue unresolved. While the manager was away, I attempted to complete the exchange with other staff members. An employee named Anthony was extremely rude and dismissive. He stated that he could not help me with anything and, instead of respectfully handing me my phone, placed it in a bag, slid it across the counter toward me, and walked away. This behavior was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. After several calls to customer service, I was instructed by the assistant manager, Jose, to return to the store to complete the buyer's remorse exchange. Prior to this visit, the store had already mishandled my first-month billing and attempted to overcharge me, despite the phone being promised under specific terms. I had to insist that the billing error be corrected. When I returned to the store, Jose did not greet me or address me professionally. His first words were simply, "Let's go," which I found disrespectful and unprofessional. He then attempted to charge me additional fees despite the earlier billing errors caused by the store. When I did not agree to these charges, he suddenly claimed that the phone was damaged--an issue that had never been mentioned previously and appeared to be used to deny the exchange. This entire experience felt misleading and deceptive and has left me extremely dissatisfied. I expect transparency, professionalism, and respectful treatment, none of which were demonstrated. I am requesting a formal review of this matter and a written response explaining how it will be resolved. The original problem was purely software: the machine would power on, show the Apple logo, prompt for an update, and then restart into internet recovery and repeat that cycle over and over. Crucially, the computer did power on. When I picked it up the next day, I was told it couldn't be fixed because it was more complicated, but when I got home, it wouldn't even turn on. I discovered the battery was disconnected and a securing sticker was missing. When I questioned them, they admitted to opening the machine, which felt dishonest after they'd initially said they hadn't. While they may be proficient with other devices, I cannot recommend them for Apple products based on this lack of transparency and care. Thank you for your response, but an apology and a warranty offer do not fix the lack of honesty and professionalism I experienced. To provide more context, I discovered the issue on Friday after your business had closed. I called on Saturday, and I was told there was no time to look at it and that I should bring it back on Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. After bringing the MacBook back on Tuesday, I called around 5:30 PM to check on the status. The person at the front desk told me it was ready to be picked up, meaning it would be returned in the same condition I brought it in--with the software loop problem, but still powering on. Shortly after I mentioned in a comment that I might take the device to Apple, I was suddenly told to wait a moment, and the staff then came back to say it actually wasn't ready after all. Here's the corrected and more focused Yelp review, emphasizing the warranty refusal and lack of accountability: uBreakiFix Miami Lakes - AVOID at ALL COSTS! Warranty? What Warranty?! On May 10, 2024, I entrusted my iPhone 14 Pro Max to uBreakiFix for a simple screen repair through my AT&T insurance (Sale #24662821). Not only was the screen not properly installed, but they also failed to reinstall the crucial water damage seal. This negligence directly led to my phone later suffering water damage. When I contacted the Miami Lakes store, then managed by Cesar Hernandez, to address this, I was met with nothing but dismissive attitudes and outright lies. They refused to acknowledge their technician's mistake and claimed the water damage wasn't covered by their warranty. Let me be clear: this is unacceptable. The damage was a direct result of their shoddy repair work, and they should have honored their 1-year warranty without question. Instead, they gave me the runaround, suggesting I file another insurance claim for damage THEY caused! The level of incompetence and lack of accountability is astounding. I ended up having to repair the phone myself, at my own expense, after uBreakiFix left me with a useless device. To add insult to injury, when I tried to explain the situation again recently, I was told by an employee (Alex) after he spoke with Cesar Hernandez, that uBreakiFix refuses to take any responsibility. This is after nearly a year of trying to get them to do the right thing. uBreakiFix clearly doesn't care about its customers or its reputation. They are quick to take your money but refuse to stand behind their work. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business. Find a reputable repair shop - even if it costs a little more - it will save you a mountain of frustration and potentially save your device. I am now pursuing legal action against them for breach of contract and negligence. Don't make the same mistake I did. Choose wisely. Choose anyone but uBreakiFix.
