Beautiful spot in the woods. Facilities are nice, new, and fresh. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Coaster went faster than I anticipated. Beautiful relaxing ride through the woods up the hill. We also did the gem mining which was lots of fun. Will definitely come back. They also give 10% discount for locals.

This was so much fun! We were a bit nervous about how easy it would be to brake in these but the start and stopping is incredibly easy. You can definitely fly around the bends on this! Staff were helpful and gave great instructions on operating the carts. One ride lasts about 7-10 minutes. You can also pay for more laps. Note, you can't bring purses, belt bags or anything loose on the coaster so leave your stuff in the car. Would have loved to take a video but 1.phones are not allowed on the ride and 2. You use both hands for starting and stopping. If looking to do something different in the Dells, check this place out!

I can honestly say that I didn't expect to have as much fun as I did. What a pleasant surprise it…read morewas! I didn't look up too much info beforehand because I didn't want to be spoiled. The website explained that it was a tablet directed quest game and would take about an hour. However, that's out of date. The time allotted for a single game was two hours. Be warned when setting the parking meter! Basically there are four "realms" that each offer quests. When you see a tablet, you can choose to interact with it and accept or deny a quest. You can accept the quest via your group's tablet by selecting the appropriate symbol. Then the wild goose chase begins. Clues send you all over the place to talk to characters and collect the virtual items. Up stairs, through secret passages, tunnels and more. Rarely did we encounter teams that were following the same quest at the same time we were so that was great. As crowded as it got in certain areas, we were all kind of doing our own thing. I believe there were around 16 quests that could be completed, all with varying levels of difficulty and length of time to complete. We made it through 4, and part way through another in our two hours. I was amazed by the level of detail that went into the planning and decoy of this game and all the rooms. It was more interactive than I had anticipated and also tiring! But what a fun afternoon. I'd love to go into more detail but I don't want to spoil anything. The price was fair for the experience and I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely planning another road trip back!

Not for the faint of heart…read more I have mixed feelings. We went around 11am on a rainy day during spring break. There was a line. It wasn't super long, but it was slow moving because they give each family their tablet and explain how things work. Waiting in a slow line is really hard for kids when they are super excited. I wish the people at the desk just sold tickets and that they had someone in the starting room explain the tablets to a group at a time to speed things up. Some people behind us in line bought tickets in advance online and were annoyed that they had to stand in the same ticket line as everyone else. Buying tickets online does not expedite things at all. There was no line when we left, so maybe late afternoon is a better arrival time. Overall, the design of the questing area is very cool. There is a lot to explore, and there are lots of fun details and secret passageways to explore. My kids are age 7 and 9 and really enjoyed it overall. As a parent, 2 hours was way too long for younger kids. It would have been perfect for teens and adults, but it is way too long for younger kids. We're pretty fit, and we were exhausted by the end because there is a lot of walking and going up and down the stairs. We were also carrying our kids coats and umbrellas as we didn't see the lockers until the end. Tip; Ditch any gear before questing. There are very few places to sit and take a break along the way. This would be a very poor choice attraction for anyone with mobility issues or anyone who can't handle a lot of walking. I wouldn't bring grandparents along on this adventure. We ended up taking a break in the snack area, and they paused our quest, so taking a break wouldn't count towards the 2 hours. I wish we didn't pause the quest because we ended up deciding we were done after 90 minutes of questing time, but 2 hours of being there, and our kids did not want to leave time on the clock. As a parent, this was a lot. My kids were SO excited to find things and explore, but I felt a bit stressed because there are lots of passageways and secret doors, and any time another family exposed some secret entrance, they immediately wanted to run through it. I had to be on high alert to avoid losing them to their impulses to go through any secret passages they stumbled upon. I read everything on their website, some online reviews, and watched videos about Wizard Quest, but I wish I had more info going into this about what to expect. We finished 3 quests. We would have to come back multiple times to complete everything. That would have been nice to know going into it to manage kid expectations. People in larger bodies might have a hard time navigating certain areas because some passages are quite narrow. There are 3 levels. We never made it to the fire area in the basement, and I feel like most of our time was in the earth area. Tip:choose quests that start in different realms to explore different areas. There was a lot of walking back and forth, going back to places we already explored. I wish there was an option to tap for a hint in the app instead of asking the staff. We went inside the tree so many times. When my kids had trouble finding what they needed to complete the task, we had to circle around, come down, and loop around to ask for a hint and then go back up again (and again and again). The staff is helpful, but having to go in circles to get a hint was frustrating for younger kids. They wanted to finish the task and move on to explore new areas. I also wish there was a back feature in the app. When little kids tap through quest details quickly, They miss important information. Both kids had a blast and said it was 4 stars and want to go back. I had fun, but I also feel like I would wait several years before considering a return trip.

Zeus is definitely a god of a coaster as it's just perfect for all to enjoy as it's not super high…read moreand it's not that fast and it's just a fun smooth ride from start to finish! At first I didn't think all that much of this wooden coaster but after a ride I was like wow that was fun! During my ride I can see that Zeus has recently been retracked in several areas making for a solid fun quick and just smooth ride! This was a super fun and enjoyable coaster that's perfect for all ages so get the kids on it as you can just tell it's just that fun! This is definitely the second best coaster in the park next to Hades360 but this is more or less your standard wooden coaster of awesomeness! Overall this was a great ride and it took me by surprise with how much I enjoyed it so much so that I got about 4 rides on it! It's with that I hope that I can come back to ride again soon because this was a super fun coaster!

LIGHTNING STRIKES THRICE…read more Zeus was the 3rd CCI woodie to appear at Mt Olympus Theme Park and has the highest coaster stats of the original Grecian trio (the other two being the smaller Pegasus and mid-sized Cyclops). At 90ft tall and 60mph, Zeus bears decent stats for a wooden coaster and has much more oomph than you'd think at first glance. The track is 2,900 feet in length but only delivers a ride time of 1 minute 25 seconds, since the train absolutely FLIES through the course. No trim brakes, no slow downs. As with all the other coasters here, Zeus runs a single train operation. From the lefthand turn after the lift to the station brakes, this thing runs full tilt. There's enough negative G's to satisfy even the most airtime-thirsty riders, and forceful lateral G's absolutely SLAM you in turns. It has the potential to be unpleasantly painful, so watch out. Trains use individual ratcheting lapbars and a shared seatbelt with seat dividers. Like its coaster brethren Pegasus and Cyclops, the boxy PTC trains aren't the most comfortable and offer little protection from the unusually intense out-and-back experience. With regards to front row vs back row, I cannot comment on the former due to the unnaturally long waits associated with these damn 1-train ops. But I can say that the rear of the train provides ample negative G's and a thoroughly rough ride.....but in a good way. __________ Well, that just about wraps it up for me and this trip to Mt Olympus. Hopefully y'all enjoyed reading my ride reviews this year; this marks my 40th roller coaster review in 2016, which matches my combined total from 2014 & 2015. 2017 will hopefully see many more thrills + chills + spills for yours truly, since I moments ago purchased a gold pass for the Six Flags parks (hey, it was on sale for $64.99). I'll look to knock out another 40 coasters next year at Magic Mountain, New England, and possibly Hotlanta. So until next time...... Put those hands up...... And keep on ridin'.

What a top notch experience!…read more Listen, they market this experience well. They make it sound so incredibly magical. So, I was hooked in by the marketing. In the back of my mind, though, I was pretty convinced they were over-selling the enchantment. My friends, if anything, they were under-selling it. It was the coolest, most magical immersive and interactive forest walk of my life. The technology is astounding. As my son who was with me shared after, 'it felt like we were dropped inside a Disney movie'. I couldn't have said it better myself. Beyond the magic, some logistical notes: The trail is wide and dirt/gravel. There are some slightly steep areas and so it's not entirely accessible. My elderly parents opted to skip it and after doing it that was the best call (between the dark, the sometimes slightly uneven ground, and the slightly steep areas, it would have been too much). There are also flashing lights if you're sensitive to that. The entire trail is roughly one mile so you could ostensibly be through with it in 20 minutes. That said, with all the light show magic, it took us just over an hour. There are benches here and there if someone needs a quick rest. I would seriously do this every time I come to the Dells. An absolutely above-and-beyond awe inspiring experience. Get to it!

What a cool immersive light show experience! We came here on a Sunday night after going to Sneaky…read morePete's for dinner and a show, and I guess we weren't the only ones with that same idea because we ran into several other people from dinner who went here afterwards. It was a great idea because they're so close to each other. This very much reminded me of the China Lights experience in Milwaukee, but with a totally different vibe. If you are sensitive to moving lights, this is not for you. This place is only open in the evenings, when it's dark enough for the lights to be seen. They also use a lot of smoke so the lights have plenty to reflect off of for the show. Each 'spot' has about a 3-4 minute display, and it takes about 45 minutes to go through. At the beginning they have a concession stand, and as you're exiting there's a gift shop. Other reviews said this seemed pricy at $25/ person. I was glad it wasn't more expensive per person, but I could see how the flat rate entrance fees could deter some. I'm not sure if they change the theme or the displays each year, but if they do then that would be an awesome way to keep things fresh and bring back repeat guests.

But this time around, it was certain, I was going to do something EXTREME! Day 1: My party and I get there and we watch some videos and my boyfriend decides to take the jump. I dont think i have ever been so scared. Fearing he was going to die. Thankfully he made it out alive and we left. He was telling me how some of the workers have never even bungie jumped. Thats comforting lol. Day 2: I decided, i'm bungie jumping no matter what. I'm pumped and we get there and I'm just telling my self good thoughts. My friend went first and then myself. I get strapped up and lifted up. And am i getting lifted up in this cage i am just thinking "what the hell am i doing" the worker tries to comfort me and he was doing a damn good job. Kudos to him! Finally we get to the top and he opens the cage. He tells me " have your feet half way off the ledge and hold on to each side of the cage. then you are going to put your hands together in front of you and im going to push your ass off" so when i tried to let go of the cage i got freaked out and immediately grabbed back on.
