We ordered quite a few trees from them this year (and even more from another local nursery). We had money down on trees that were due to arrive within 1-2 months from deposit. As it got closer, they did not notify us the date had changed, so by the time we were notified, others go to come and make a pick before us (instead of picking two from about a dozen, we picked from four). In the end we were happy with our purchases, but they could work out some of the logistics and followthrough with regular customers (we sensed the contractors got a little more attention). Also, I will add that years ago we paid for someone from Johnsons to come and give us ideas for our yard. I think we paid about $150 to get the lamest "sketch", but Johnsons was good about refunding the amount as a credit towards future purchases. It just was a bummer that we wasted time waiting for the person to come out and then a month for them to give us a photo of our yard with some pictures of 2 plants awkwardly pasted over it. If the person had take us seriously, they would have gotten way more business from us. Still, we recommend this place for its large inventory and quality of products.

After talking through my needs, they helped me realize that I probably didn't need the more expensive Milwaukee model and that a Bosch laser level would be a better fit. They also pointed out that Home Depot was running a special sale with a better price. I really appreciate that kind of open and honest customer service. Instead of trying to sell me the most expensive option, they helped me find the product that best fit my needs. That kind of integrity makes me an even more loyal customer.

There was no upsell, and she was able to show the clusters of price ranges in their very large showroom so we could avoid the oh my gosh level of pricing. Currently, the best deal by far for all brass is Astor Marris but prices are fluctuating dramatically differently by brand. Their lowest price kitchen and bathroom pulls are not cheaply made products, they start at good, lots of intermediate better, and a startling selection for those for whom money is no object. We also got some work gloves and a smoke detector for good prices (better than Amazon).

Four your 7th plant, you got to choose between dahlias or fennel. I chose the fennel for mine. The class even had 2 instructors who explained every plant and continuously walked around to check on everyone's work, making sure your plants were planted deep enough, or not to shallow. The class was $55 pp. For their classes it is best to call to reserve a spot. This was my first time here and I was blown away by the size of this place. It was like a huge maze with several greenhouses. Their plants did look colorful and healthy. They are definitely family orientated so bring the kids. In one of the greenhouse, there is a huge train set that continuously runs through several model villages, hills, tunnels and landscapes. There is also a small cafe, where you can take a break, This is family owned and all plants are grown on site.

I figured why not, even if I didn't want to buy anything at the end of it, I got my carpets and floors clean. She told me it would be all of an hour max, so we scheduled it for 6pm. THIS MAN DID NOT LEAVE MY HOUSE UNTIL 9PM!!!!!!! ON A MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!! That is extremely inappropriate. I had asked him to leave and said NO I'M NOT BUYING ANYTHING, and he still would not leave!!!! I have a brand-new puppy in the house that I had to keep in a small room with my fiancé for 3 hours. We still needed to EAT DINNER and go grocery shopping. He was THE most disrespectful person I'd ever met. He was purposely taking forever to clean every single little piece and attachment to stay in my house longer. He kept trying to talk me into financing because I didn't want to drop $2,700 on this vacuum. I told him I would never finance a small appliance like that (my personal preference) and he proceeded to degrade me about "credit" knowing I worked in finance and saying "c'mon, you should know this right? You work in credit and finance, right? You should know that. Why don't you know that?" like excuse me? It's now been over an hour that I've already asked him to leave and said no there's no way I'm buying anything. I don't know what kind of company structure they are running but I was about ready to call the police on this man. I will NEVER own one of these vacuums. They are big, heavy, loud and clunky. Didn't fit under any of my furniture unless you took it apart and put on 4 of the 500 attachments. Seriously people, it takes a lot from me to leave such a horrible review. I've never even left a review on BBB before, but I could not let this slide. DO NOT go with this company.
