When we arrived, we learned that it happened to be the salesperson's day off. Fortunately, the sales manager stepped in and spent the next couple of hours with us, discussing our needs and helping us narrow down the many available options. Since we weren't committed to any particular brand, we had a wide range of choices. The first appliances presented to us were all top-of-the-line models. I don't necessarily have a problem with that, but I always find it helpful to compare those premium models with second- and third-tier alternatives to better understand the trade-offs. I wish appliance dealers had better tools to make those comparisons easier. It turns out that quality appliances are expensive... or at least the ones we ended up selecting! The sales manager also helped us work through all of the other details and put together a package proposal that included package discounts. Overall, we felt well taken care of. We're not sure yet whether we'll be purchasing our appliances here, but based on our experience, we would definitely shop here again.

More recently, we came to look at dishwasher and fridge (two different occasions a few months apart). We had done a lot of research beforehand and visited a few other retailers prior to our visit. In the end, we found better promotion and delivery prices elsewhere, but we'd still keep this place in mind.

I recently upgraded a new laptop, only to find that there are no ports to connect my external drives without a dongle. (Who knew what USB Type C was?) The laptop has a micro-SD slot but my camera uses a real SD card I can hold in my fingers instead of that dinky micro card that disappears in dark carpeting, not that I'd know about that or anything. I did some research and found a device that plugs into my USB Type C slot, which is also where the power supply plugs in. The magic box provides two REAL USB slots, a real SD card slot, a dinky SD card slot, and an additional pass-through Type C slot to plug in the power supply. It even has two more slots I'm hardly likely to use, an HDMI port and an RJ-45 for good, old-fashioned wired network access. (Just in case I ever stay at the Bates Motel.) Now, with all that setup, here comes the punchline. Like most magic boxes, it ain't cheap. My usual online vendor had the magic device in stock and I could have it by Friday if I ordered it on Tuesday. Just for grins, I looked online and found out that Best Buy A) had it in stock, B) had it at my local Best Buy store for pickup, and C) it was ten bucks lower priced than my usual vendor. So, I pulled the trigger. During the Covid19 debacle, my Best Buy store has the parking lot laid out for drive-up service. I got a text message that my magic box was ready for pickup. I pulled in and followed the maze to the front door where Derrick greeted me, went back in the store, and returned with the magic box. He handed it to me, thanked my for my purchase and waved goodbye. Piece o' cake! And to boot, I saved ten bucks and got my magic box on the same day! #YelpLove

I've started shopping at Home Depot more often than I have in the past. My in-store experiences have generally been excellent. What I'm reviewing here, however, is a recent online order. I ordered a couple of closet cabinets for home delivery. Fortunately, I was home when they arrived and had a chance to inspect the boxes before accepting them. I couldn't believe they had been loaded onto the truck in that condition. The boxes were badly damaged and appeared to have either been mishandled or previously returned. I mentioned it to the delivery driver, who I don't believe was a Home Depot employee. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do beyond shrugging his shoulders. After opening the boxes, I found that the cabinets were usable. Since I planned to modify them anyway, I was able to cut away the damaged portions without affecting my project. In the end, I decided to keep them. Still, customers should be able to expect that items purchased as new arrive in new condition. Shipping damaged merchandise, especially when the damage is obvious before it ever leaves the warehouse, isn't the level of quality I'd expect from Home Depot. I hope this is the exception rather than the rule, because my overall experiences with Home Depot have been very positive.

Never came so called (the order was suppose to be delivered by stupid Uber/Door Dash), then the store said ok by next morning from 630 till 10am...never came. So called again...guess the order was processed to the store but the dumb uber/door dash never picked it up. So went to the falls location then and canceled the order ($250 order canceled). Even said maybe use a service instead of Uber/ door dash cause if not wanting to work the order will never be picked up. Store had nothing to say!!!!!

We used to have a leaking fridge with a working ice maker, working fridge and working freezer…read more Now we have a scratched kitchen floor, a fridge that doesn't work, an ice maker that doesn't work and a freezer that barely works. When at our home Vinny apologized for setting the bottom drawer of the freezer on our new kitchen floors and then in an email requesting some type if reconciliation he became unprofessional. He was yelling at my husband about his own lack of preparation from the emailed communication with details of what was broken and then verbally attacked him. The lack of accountability and not showing up or responding when our fridge and freezer continued to become more broken with each visit in hopes of making it right was frustrating. We went from a leak under our freezer to needing a new fridge. This process has left us without a working fridge since May 13 and now we need to shop for one and get it delivered / installed.
