Normally I REEEEAAAALLLYYYY love this bakery. I'm usually able to call in my order and pick it up within 15 minutes. As usual, I call in my order, arrive 15 min later, and had to wait for my food. Cool. I'm pretty patient; esp for good food. Now let's fast forward to 10 min later and I ask the front desk lady (Adrianna) how long it will take and she stated it would be just be a couple of more minutes. I see a bag get packed, but I think nothing of it because it doesn't look like my food and she past by the bag multiple times herself. Fast forward 40 minutes later, the table next to me orders more food and receive their second order before I can even receive my first order. I finally go to the counter and ask again how much longer it would take. How about the bag that was sitting for 40 minutes was actually my food . Luckily they (Devin) remade the order again to ensure freshness, but waiting an entire hour for some food then having to wait an additional 15-20 min for it to be remade is ridiculous! They offered me some dessert, but I'm not a real big fan of their dessert as much as I am about their food. I say all this to say, they could have at least refunded me my money back for the disconnect on their end. Now, again, I love this place, but the service today was definitely missed. read more

I am trying to go vegan and this is the perfect spot to try good food. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and while it was the sauce that was spicy it was still very good. The lemonade is bomb, I live 40 minutes from here and I'll definitely come just for the lemonade. They were all incredibly nice and the place is very calm and aesthetic. Wisdom is amazing! I would say they are a vegans one stop shop for food. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, lattes, smoothies, cupcakes, and more. I've tried the buffalo bites, pulled bbq, chicken and waffles, Philly "cheesesteak", and their cupcakes over the last few days. I must say, the cupcakes are huge in size! At least twice the size of a regular cupcake. They are moist and very delicious. As a vegan it is hard to find a "spot" that you absolutely love enough to continuously go but I think I've found mine. I love that everything is vegan and they are so consistent in delivering great customer service. I have been treated very well on each visit. The good: The tea was good. The service was friendly! The not as good: Ambiance could be improved, with poor music being blasted and just a few low to the floor tables inside not necessarily ideal for meals. Wasn't too impressed with the spam-texture of my burger or pesto fries with little sprays of pesto probably from some condiment food service bottle over pretty regular fries. I think their other items are probably a little bit better , wanted to try the cauliflower things but couldn't find them on the menu for some reason. Also, their menu is full of meat things but it's a vegan restaurant, why not just flat out say on the menu exactly what you're ordering instead of calling it meat? For example, I've had some delicious black bean vegan burgers that were much better than whatever it was I ended up with here, I may have tried something different had I known what it was. Also, proportionally the least amount of people will hate your music if the music is low and instrumental, not blasting some popular trendy stuff made for the middle schoolers of 20 years ago. Anyway, the cupcakes looked pretty good and as mentioned above, maybe the burger and fries is not the route to go, so I'll update the review if I try again in the future, but at the price point of around $25 for the burger, fries and tea, it didn't quite hit the mark for anything above just average. read more

I was plant based for many years, so I love vegan food and trying new vegan options in the city is always fun for me. I ordered the philly cheesesteak, lemon poppyseed muffin and a cappuccino with oat milk. The muffin and coffee was pretty good, not outstanding. The cheesesteak was not good at all. The bread was soggy, the filling was odd flavored and the cheese was also really strange, almost like a soup or something. Overall I would go back and try some of their other dishes but I'm thinking the coffee and pastries are their strong suit. read more

I ordered the lunch special (pasta bolognese), truffle burger, spicy chicken sandwich, crispy chicken wrap, mac n cheese, cookies, and an ice latte. I wanted to get a variety of things because I was prepared for some of them to be kind of gross. Sometimes vegan places are a hit or miss, but literally everything I got was a hit. I loved them all. The place has a nice atmosphere but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. I had a friend go pick up food from here and I was very excited to try it. I just moved to the spring area and made it my point to try the local vegan joints. My friend arrived and said how nice the atmosphere was but the food was just not good. I ordered the bbq mushroom sandwich and the buffalo cauliflower bites. The sandwich was a 1/5 because it literally tasted like liquid smoke and nothing more and the "slaw" appeared to just be chopped cabbage and carrots. The sandwich was almost inedible due to the amount of liquid smoke used. Now on the other hand the buffalo cauliflower wings were okay 3/5, nothing to fancy but still overall okay. I think they would have been a bit better if I had tasted them straight out of the fryer so I gave them a 3/5 instead of a 2/5. I would be willing to try them again, maybe these just weren't their best menu items or it could have been an off day for the team. I'm not too sure how customer service was but my friend said it was pleasant so due to their customer service I would try them again since I'm a stickler for good customer service but who knows. Vegan food is already pricey as is and to have bad pricy vegan food is a unexpected disappointment. read more
