I had been wanting to get a remote start for my vehicle long before this winter set in. The…read moredealership told me it would cost $1000 last summer. So I had put the thought off until I got to talking to my sister who told me that I could get it done for much cheaper than that. She told me to check out Zeibart and I did. I was very happy that I called them for a price quote. There are three price ranges available for a remote start. The least expensive is $299. The middle option is $349 and the third option is closer to $500, I think, not sure of the exact price since I did not consider that option. I went with the middle option which extends the range to a quarter of a mile. You get a new fob to operate it with as opposed to the least expensive option where they use your existing fob but then you have to be close enough like you normally would to unlock your doors. I thought it was worth the extra $50 for the longer range. Their website advertises a 3 mile range which could be useful from inside a mall or your work. That must be the third most expensive option. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and two hours later the job was completed and ready for pick up. The system works well for me since I have two garages and park in both depending on the weather. I can start the car from inside the house to let it warm up even when I park in the bigger garage that is much farther away. There is also an app for your smartphone but I have not used it yet since the fob button works just fine for me.

I brought my Toyota Sequoia in specifically for the Rust Eliminator service that had been offered to me for $149, reduced from the regular price of approximately $350. I personally spoke with the manager when I brought the vehicle in and explained exactly which service I wanted. The manager also discussed a much more expensive Total Protection package with me, which would have cost around $600. I declined the additional package and made it clear that I only wanted the $149 rust treatment for the existing rust on my vehicle. My vehicle remained at Ziebart all day. Earlier, the manager told me the service could be completed in approximately an hour and that I would receive a call. That call never came. Around 5:30 p.m., after their normal business hours, I had to contact Ziebart myself to find out what was happening with my vehicle. Someone eventually called me back and informed me that the Rust Eliminator service had not been performed at all. I was told the manager decided they could not perform that service on my vehicle. My issue isn't simply that they declined to perform the work. If there was a legitimate reason they could not safely or properly perform the service, they should have told me that. My problem is the complete lack of communication. Why was my vehicle kept there all day after I had clearly discussed the service with the manager? Why was I told it could be completed in about an hour? And why did nobody contact me to tell me the work would not be performed? I should not have had to call after closing time to discover that my vehicle had been sitting there all day without the service I brought it in for. What makes the experience even more frustrating is that I was willing to purchase the advertised rust-treatment service, but I came away feeling as though my business was not worthwhile unless I purchased the substantially more expensive protection package. Customers deserve clear communication and professional treatment regardless of which service or package they choose to purchase. A manager should communicate directly with a customer when circumstances change rather than allowing a customer's vehicle to sit all day and leaving the customer to find out after hours that nothing was done. This experience left me with very little confidence in this location. Based on the way my appointment and vehicle were handled, I would recommend that other customers research alternative rust-treatment businesses before leaving their vehicles here.

I had a partial tint done to my front windshield, after I got my car back and I got in it, I noticed a razor blade in my cup holder that was laying on its side. The inside of the car was very dirty, the dashboard had a bunch of water spots, I sat in my car and noticed stuff on my radio that was never there before. The chemicals they used tore off some of the film on my touch screen radio. I noticed this and went in, one of the workers came out with some cleaner, he told me to talk to the owner. I talked to the owner and the owner said that it was wear and tear because my vehicle is a 2013 but it wasn't there when I took it in. They showed me a video of them putting a drape over the stereo then I requested to see the video of the removal of the old tint on my windshield and I haven't received it. I asked for my money back and the owners are insisting that it isn't their fault and they told me to google why the spots were on my radio. Like just own up to your mistake and on top of that one of the workers told me that the owners decided that they wouldn't give me my money back because "they aren't responsible." The damage wasn't there before so my radio didn't magically wear in a hour timespan. They are very rude and unprofessional and unwilling to help. I highly don't recommend going to this place, it is a waste of money and time.

I went in on a Thursday, and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. I wanted to get the taillights, 3rd brake light, and rear reflectors smoked out. I was quoted about 2-2.5 hr turnaround. I dropped the car at 2:00, and I pulled away before 4:00. Randy was fast and knocked it out ahead of the quoted time. He really knows his stuff! I couldn't be happier, and will certainly go back for some other customization in the future.

I went in looking for whatever level of polish I could get within a roughly $500 budget, and Rod ended up delivering essentially a three-stage correction within that budget. The quality of the work, service, and value were all excellent, and we were genuinely thrilled with how the car turned out. We had just purchased the vehicle CPO with about 30,000 miles on it. We bought it Wednesday afternoon in Virginia and drove it home by Thursday night. By Friday morning, some dried mud was unfortunately wiped off the paint, leaving several additional scratches on top of some clear-coat scratches and deeper marks that were already there. Vik Black is a beautiful metallic black, but it shows almost everything. We dropped the car off with Rod Monday morning. Our goal was not showroom perfect. We just wanted the paint to look significantly better without spending well over $1,000. Rod initially discussed around a two-step polish for roughly $450, but what we ultimately received was essentially a three-stage correction for $500. Comparable quotes I had seen for that level of work were well north of $1,000. The car was washed, decontaminated and clay barred, polished, then worked again with a heavier compound and wool pad in areas with deeper defects, followed by a final polish and wax. The result was fantastic. The car is not absolutely perfect under every light, but it is also a 30,000-mile CPO vehicle with some deeper scratches. For what we asked for and what we paid, the improvement was excellent. More importantly, this was a car we had literally just brought home, and after the correction it finally felt like the new-to-us vehicle we had been excited about buying in the first place. The service was just as good. I have increasingly felt that with most businesses you can pick two of three: great quality, great service, or a great price. Rod somehow managed all three. Rod originally expected the job to take one day. Around midday Monday, he called and left me a voicemail asking whether he could keep the car until the following morning because it could benefit from some additional work. I was in a meeting and could not respond right away. When he had not heard back from me within about an hour, he decided to honor the turnaround he had originally promised and worked double time to finish the additional work. The car was ready that same Monday evening. When we picked it up, Rod and his team were clearly proud of the work and excited to show us the result. That meant a lot. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the work they are putting their name on, and that was absolutely the feeling we got. They were transparent, stayed within budget, and did more than I expected without trying to upsell me into something I did not want. I am actually pretty critical when it comes to paying a lot for detailing services, so I do not give this kind of recommendation lightly. In this case, I felt like every dollar was well spent. Rod and his team gave us exactly what we were hoping for, and then some. I would absolutely trust Darring's Detail with our vehicles again. Thank you to Rod and the entire team for making our new-to-us GV70 look like something we could be excited about all over again.

I cannot say enough about Rod and the whole crew. we took our 2026 model Y to have Darrings detail apply PPF to it although they were extremely busy he actually took us in on a Sunday when they were closed treated us like royalty and identified a dent that we completely missed when we took delivery. We notified Tesla and believe it or not, they showed the dent in their pre-delivery photos that they took of the car so after much running around and talking to people, Tesla finally is taken care of it.
