Went on Wednesday around 8pm and was going to sit outside. There was at least 10 little black bugs all over the table. We decided to go inside but even our table inside had the little bugs. It was frustrating because the whole time we were eating, we had to worry if a bug was going to land on our pizza or in our drink. Their ranch also kind of sucks. It was room temp and runny. Which I'm pretty sure opened ranch left at room temp is a food safety violation. With their plethora of a menu I was hoping they had good ranch! To top it off there was a young lady outside on the bench making pizza boxes, after she assembled them she would add to her stack which was on the ground. Wise Guys Pizzeria is located in the corner of the Yorba Ranch Village Shopping Center. A friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. There was plenty of parking available, but the lot does get full at times, as there are a lot of popular shops and restaurants in this center. They have a good number of tables inside, a bar, and some tables on the patio out front. The walls feature sports décor. There was no wait at the front counter. We looked over the menu at the register, placed our order, and got a number on a stand to place on our table. They have a large number of pizza ingredient combinations, and the prices are very reasonable. We sat in a booth by the bar area. The bartender was friendly, and he was happy to put a hockey game on the TV for us. We had the 14" Hot Honey Pizza (Hot Honey, Provolone, Pepperoni, Goat Cheese, Baby Arugula, drizzled with WG's hot honey, $24.49). The crust was nice and doughy, baked well, and not soggy at all. The pizza had a lot of pepperoni, and plenty of goat cheese and arugula. I really loved the hot honey which had a good sweetness and definitely some heat. This was an excellent pizza, and I loved the combination of ingredients. All of the staff were very friendly, and we were thanked on the way out. The interior of this place can host a good amount of people but if you have large party or just want to be outside during the day or night, they have an incredible outdoor area with a TV to catch sports on. I'm a returning guest and am little disappointed to know that this place does a MANDATORY gratuity 10% tip for large (over $200) pickup/take out orders. Absolutely delicious!!! We got the family deal with one large one topping pizza (pep) and a large salad w/ranch. Liter of soda, garlic knots ( choice of those or cinnamon) and a pint of ice cream ( we got spomoni). The pizza is light and airy with the perfect red sauce. The salad was fresh and beautifully made. The ranch, yum! Hubs said the garlic knots were just as good. The Manager Connor took our order and was a shining example of exceptional guest service! He was very well Spoken and polite and very friendly. The restaurant itself is a throwback to our childhood pizza places but upgraded, the red checkered table clothes and blink playing on the sound system. 10/10, will definitely be going there again and again and letting everyone know to try it. read more

Listen I don't even like veggies but this place has made me a fan! I'm always craving their veggie pizza but the pizzeria is a bit far so I can only enjoy it once in a while. I definitely recommend calling ahead to order so you don't have to wait that long. Wise Guys is one of our favorite local restaurants to visit. The food is usually delicious and there are many beers on draft. There's a few tables inside, a small bar with barstools and a large outdoor patio. The pricing is very reasonable. It can get very busy, with long wait times for your food. Our favorite food items are: gangster BBQ pizza, Rocky graciano pizza, the antipasto salad, the wings (sometimes), meatball sandwich and many more! On busy nights, they don't cook the pizza for as long, so it doesn't come out as good. Always order the pizza well done and it will come out amazing. The delivery charge for the local area is only five dollars... Love that! Outside near the patio is a dirt patch that used to have a playground in it that all of the kids like to play in. It can get really crazy with lots of kids and lots of playground balls. If you have kids though it's a fun option to let them run around, just be prepared. read more

I had the chicken parmigiana, he had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and my daughter ordered a small pizza. Sil also added an order of bruschetta to share. I usually always have a good experience here but Halloween was not it. First calling in speaking to the first person, he said he had to move to another spot to input the delivery order. Not sure what happened but silence for 5 minutes after he said that and then someone hung up. Called back a little later and spoke to someone different to place the order. Was told now 2 hours for delivery. Not a problem, I understand it's Halloween and very busy. I thought hey that just means my food will be hot when it gets here and I'll just watch some movies until it comes. Around the 2 hour mark it comes. Sadly the pizza and knots were good. The crust tasted pretty under bake and the cheese was cold and not really melted. Not sure if it was just sitting out for a while or they were just trying to get things in and out the oven asap. Review is for pizza only. They have many great non-pizza items. Their salads are great. Ok, so the pizza. There are two kinds of pizza in the world, those that are better than Costco pizza and those are worse. If a pizza is not better than Costco pizza there's nothing to talk about. It's a mediocre pizza but you get lots of it for a very cheap price. Nobody can beat Costco in that regard. Basically, that's every Domino's, little Caesars, lamp post Pizza, Shakey's pizza ever made. There's nothing to say about them because they kind of suck. I would say this pizza is slightly better than Costco pizza. So yes, I guess it's worth paying a little extra for the smaller amount of pizza you get versus Costco. There is nothing special about it and it really didn't deliver on flavor. Just a 16 inch pizza for way too much money. Not bad, not great. read more

Went back into wiseguys pizza for a salad and a pizza. The people that take your order are helpful and let you know what is good. We always like to try a different pizza. The Caesar salads are great. They put enough dressing to make it really good. The pizzas are good and if you ask for extra on your toppings, they always put enough on. There is a lot of TVs with sports that you can check out while waiting for your food. Lots of craft beer to try. And outside seating both in the front and in the side lot.
