Great pizza and wings ! Great service every time fresh ingredients would recommend

Dropped in here on a whim when I was filling up my car with ethanol (station next to this place is one of the few that has it in YL). Thought I'd make dinner easy on the kids, so I ordered a cheese pizza to take out. I sat down after placing my order and ended up chatting with the owner for about 10-15 minutes while they made my pizza; I believe it was his daughter in the back making the food. I love family businesses, and they were extremely pleasant, awesome people. He also offered me a free drink while I waited for the pizza; I get it if I ordered $100+ in food, but I literally got an $18 cheese pizza for my kids. His generosity and friendly demeanor won me over as a customer. Kids loved the cheese pizza, too. Tonight was pizza night for the whole family so I ordered from here instead of my normal lamppost or wise guys. The kids got their usual cheese, and loved it, and the wife and I split the chicken Tikka, spicy with some tandoori wings. All was phenomenal. The wings were small, but that's not a knock - they're likely just not the GMO giants I'm used to from wing-stop. They were fresh and packed with flavor. The Tikka pizza with the garlic base, spicy seasoned chicken, green and red onion and cilantro was one of the best pizzas I've had. What started as a desire to support a neighborhood friendly family businesses has developed into an addition for Indian/Italian fusion. This is officially our new spot, despite being at the east-most end of Yorba Linda; we'll make the trek. read more

First time trying Curry Up Pizza last night after always passing by it in Yorba Linda. I'm a proud pizza lover and lover of halal food so I was very excited to try this restaurant out for the first time. Right out the gate, the staff was nice and approachable. I felt welcomed when entered and when I was serviced, I was serviced well where I was helped and was able to grab my food without any extended wait time. The restaurant inside was clean. Food Review: Their boneless chicken was hands down the best I've ever had from a restaurant perspective. They are better than any typical fast food chain like Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings so I have to give this establishment their props on this. Their boneless wings is what contributed to this review having 3 out of 5 stars because I didn't like how my pizza came out. The ranch for you ranch lovers out there is good too and not too watery. Lastly the honey sriracha flavor was good, not too spicy and gave me enough confidence to assume their other wings are good from this establishment. In my photo, you'll see that after I tried one of the wings I had to take a picture of it as I do both the bad and the good when applicable to my ratings. Now, if you're wondering why I'd rate a place with such good wings a 3 out of 5 is because of the pizza. Originally I would have scored them a 1 out of 5 due to how the pizza came out. I am not a fan of burnt pepperoni and that's exactly what I got. The top of my pepperoni was charred and the ends of my pizza were charred as you can see. Thank goodness that the bottom of my pizza was not burnt or I would have drove back for a full refund. It's hard for me to assume whether this is how they make their pizza, or an honest human mistake with the blow torch but however you look at it, the pizza is what I was given for thin crust and I wasn't a fan of it at all. So customers interested in thin crust, be weary of your choice from this establishment as your pizza could look like mine where it's Triple Extra crispy on the pepperoni and beyond well done. Final result, Outside of my pizza not turning out the way I'd like, the wings are enough to bring me back to the establishment. Yes! They were that good. From a pizza perspective, I'd hope to one day try one of their standard hand tossed or deep dish pizzas to make up from this review. Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat so I just had to try out some yummy Indian pizza! Since it was my first time, the worker did recommend getting a half and half pizza so I ended up choosing half butter chicken and half tandoori chicken. I also got an order of mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were so good and had a nice cheese pull. The pizza was super tasty and I personally liked the butter chicken more out of the two but both options were still good. Although the cashier double/tripled assured us that all the chicken, whether it was boneless or bone-in was halal, when the owner/manager started making our pizza, we heard his kept asking if this was supposed to be halal chicken? That seems like an odd thing to ask multiple times if all of it is halal? I think the confusion was definitely stressing me out a bit. The cashier also messed up our order. We asked for a certain half and half and she said maybe try something else for our second pizza choice since the two we picked, achari and tandoori might have had the same sauce, and it would be harder for us to differentiate. We ended up getting two pizzas we weren't really wanting to try. So they mixed up our order. The pizza itself was tasty. It was hot, had flavor. I want to say we ended up getting the malai chicken and butter chicken pizza (large half and half) and plain wings with the mango habanero sauce in the side. Both pizzas had a unique flavor, in a good way, to it. I also want to give a huge shout out to them for really doing something for the community. They have been donating pizzas to local places of worship. This shows they are wanting to give back to the community. I want to come back to try the pizza we originally went in for. Came across this pizza place when we were looking for a place to eat after catching a movie. It's casual with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and did a great job and keeping the tables clean. We ordered malai paneer pizza and chicken tandoori pizza. Malai Paneer Pizza- This normally comes with tomatoes, onions, bellpeppers, and marinated paneer. I ordered it with no onions and bellpeppers and added on mushrooms. There's so much flavor in the malai sauce, a little bit of sweetness and a kick of heat. Dough was cooked perfectly. My wife wanted to try an Indian pizza fusion recently so fortunately for me, I found this place. The prices aren't the cheapest, but what you get is a great tasting pizza. We got half tandoori and half tiki masala. Both were great and very delicious! The only one who didn't care for it was my 2 year old toddler who doesn't understand good food yet ha. Decided to mix it up and give this place a shot. Glad I did. A different take on pizza than the standard NY slice. I enjoyed the different flavors and the crust was solid. Holds well even with a lot of toppings. The Tikki Chicken and pepperoni was the favorite. Butter chicken was solid but felt it needed more sauce maybe, just didn't taste the flavors as much in that one. The tandoori chicken was also pretty solid. The chefs special wings flavor was really good also, but the size of the wings was pretty disappointing. The mojo potatoes were absolute gas. First time trying Curry Up Pizza after many years of living nearby, and I'm glad we finally did. Decided to switch it up from our usual Domino's and Porky's. Everything was very good, especially the Mexican pizza! The jalapeño and pico de gallo added the perfect freshness and heat that really balanced all the flavors. Absolutely loved it. Curry Up has become our ultimate go to on nights we don't want to cook. We have also ordered it when we've have guests over and everybody has been super impressed with their flavors! I wanted to update because we have gotten takeout at least a dozen times, and have tried much of their menu. They recently added a bunch of new items, and everything we have had has been amazing! For appetizers, we LOVE their chicken wings, I always ask for flats only and they always deliver. We have tried many flavors, I think my favorite is Curry. We also love the Pesto Sticks (pesto, red onion, and spicy jalapeños) and Spinach Artichoke balls - Spin-Art Bites. We tend to stick with their Indian Chicken pizzas, and our favorites are Tandoori, Butter, Tikka, Curry, Achari, and Malai. If we are ordering for guests that have never had it, we always go with the Malai, it's a crowd pleaser! Their traditional Pepperoni, Sausage & Mushroom pizza is also really good. We recently tried one of their newest pizzas, Lamb Curry. WOW! This is my new favorite! It definitely has a kick but isn't too hot. It's SO good! If you like lamb, you have to try this one. The Samosas were greats they come with red and green sauces. The green won was better in my opinion. My wife and I split a pizza. 1/2 spinach paneer 1/2 achari chicken. Besides porkys pizza this is my other favorite pizza place. It's a change from the regular pizza. If you want to do the half and half pizzas you have to get a large pizza or bigger fyi. Strong flavor and a kick of spice on the chicken curry pizza side and the other half is chicken tandoori which is a nice non spicy flavor and gives a relief from the spicy curry chicken. Came here Sunday around 12. The place was empty but while we were here there were a couple people getting pizza and wings togo while we dined in. The pizza took less than 10 mins to come out. Both butter chicken and tandoori halves were good. The butter chicken had a curry sauce on the bread and the chicken was in small cubes, all super juicy. The tandoori side had larger chicken pieces and a creamy cheesey white sauce on the bottom. There is loads of toppings including jalapeno, cilantro, and green onion. The good thing about the pizza here is the toppings go all the way to the edge and there isnt the awkward crust bit that you eat plain. The pizza dough is also warm and soft the whole time and doesnt get tough as it cools down as other pizza places do. We were told the wait time for the pizza was close to 40 minutes, which we were fine with. For context, we came on a Saturday night at 6:30PM and we could see there were several larger groups all seated but not yet served. We came in wanting to try two different flavors and went for a half and half pizza. The smallest half and half pizza is a large, and we prefer thin crust. So we ordered chicken tikka (garlic sauce, cheese, red onions, tomatoes, chicken tikka, cilantro and green onions), and butter chicken (butter sauce, cheese, bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, butter chicken and cilantro). We also ordered their potato chips. Potato Chips $8.99 - think crinkle cut mojo's from Shakey's! It was served with 2 things of ranch sauce. Seasoned, spiced and fried; partly crispy, partly soft potato. Large Thin Half & Half $31.99 - I LOVED the amazing bake of the pizza crust (so even throughout, I easily held a slice with one hand). The dough itself though, makes me wonder if it was made from scratch. The toppings were top notch. I've never had chicken on a pizza that was this moist! Speaking of the thickness of the crust, the pizza that came out was clearly thinner than their normal crust (based on my looking around at other tables), but I personally was expecting it to be thinner. Ambiance - nothing could get more American than the smell of pizza, mixing with the wonderful smells of curry, in a classic pizza parlor, while listening to country music.
