A friend and I were in the mood for pizza, and didn't want to drive far. I've DoorDashed from Craftsman a few times before and enjoyed it. I've never actually dined at the restaurant, so we decided to go and give it a try. They are located in the Placentia Town Center right next to CVS, with plenty of parking available. They have a good sized dining area with a mix of tables and booths. They also have a bar area with four big screens against the wall, and a few other TVs throughout the dining area. They also have a small outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. We sat in a comfy booth across from the bar, and it was a nice surprise that they had a college hockey championship game and the Olympics on. They have a good selection of beer taps. I ordered a pint of the Firestone Orange Hefeweizen ($9.50), and my friend had the Stereo Robot Red Ale ($9.50) and were both great. The glasses looked nice with the Craftsman logo on them. They also have a good wine list with some great selections like Belle Glos and Doau. The drink menu also has a nice selection of over a dozen cocktails. They have a big selection of around two dozen signature wood fired pizzas available in 10" or 14" sizes. We decided to keep it simple and share a 14" The Graduate (pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onions, roasted peppers, olives, and mozzarella ($22.75). The pizza came out timely, and is served on a raised stand. The crust had a nice thin to medium thickness and held the toppings well. It had a good amount of toppings and was delicious. This was the perfect size for two people, and we were both stuffed when it was all gone. In addition to a big list of interesting pizzas, they also have a big selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Our server Mikayla was very friendly, and checked on us often. The pizza, beer, and service were all great. A very filling pizza and two pints for $45 before tip is a great deal. They have a happy hour weekdays, and drink specials Monday through Thursday. We will definitely return soon.

I had some issues in the past with my to go orders but it's been awhile so I thought I'd give them another chance. Another disappointment!! I ordered a well done burger. Maybe, maybe I could say it's medium.... I didn't have the time or patience to drive back or call to talk about it and still have to remedy myself in the Microwave. So my would be barely cooked burger went in the microwave. If I wanted that kinda burger I could have gone to some cheap place.

Great dinner. Everything tasty and fresh. The wings were amazing. Crispy. Juicy. BBQ sauce was tasty. Not too salty. Must ger. Crispy zucchini was great. Good mix of crispy and the tenderness of the zucchini. The Super was tasty. Not too salty. The crust was a bit soft but it was good. Service was excellent. Plenty of parking in a dedicated lot.

Another special Placentia place, with this one being the last place we had a family meal before my dad passed away. Deliciousness and comfort food, yes pizzas, but also lots of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salad. Small but good selection of beers, great bar seating and both indoor and outdoor seating options. I only just learned that I can turn any salad into a wrap, which makes me happy. The veggie pesto pizza and the harvest salad also make me happy... I could drink a pint of that brown sugar vinegarette. Sometimes they have live music and the one time I made it, the singer was Aaaamazing! I would say the service is great 95% of the time, with any hiccups likely due to a full house, popular place, so be patient and enjoy your company. Support Local!!

I finally checked out Craftsman Woodfire Pizza. The vibe is cool, though it can get a bit noisy inside when the dinner rush hits, so be prepared for a loud atmosphere. The Food & Service Korean Bulgogi BBQ Pizza: This was the highlight! The savory marinated beef and wood-fired crust were a great combo. Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread: Honestly, this was way too sweet for me. The fig flavor was a bit overwhelming, so if you aren't into super sweet-and-savory mixes, I'd skip this one. Service: The service was decent--attentive enough, though they were definitely staying busy with the crowd. Happy Hour Heads-Up __Mon-Friday, 3-6pm__ They have a good Happy Hour deal with $2 off appetizers, house draft, wine & well drinks.

I will be back for sure to this place for the food and their kindness! They really had a good way of customer service by understanding what my friends did that night & it was always amazed me how the hospitality for my table was so amazing! It was only 3 of us and we ordered the vegan pizza from the menu, which was the Margherita; it was so good, the dough was soft, though its veg pizza but the taste was bomb!!!! The taste really rocks the veggie, I am actually not a vegetarian but my other 2 friends are veg. So for me, my taste bud for sure never lies! It's one of the best veg pizza ever! The bruschetta was also the star of the night! It was worth the price and these dish are the Main reason I won't hesitate to come back again and hopefully next time I won't trouble the staff since they are so kind to us! The restaurant maybe small but the food and the live music they have on Saturday night is best!!! For sure tip them well! They deserve the good appreciation for their great hospitality!

I am bumping my 4 stars to a solid 5. Over the years, this has become one of our favorite spots. We eat here about once a month. I love the Valedictorian pizza and the BBQ chicken. I also love to create my own with ham and olives. The spinach dip with tortilla chips is a fantastic starter. The wings are also wonderful. We love the happy hour specials and wine Wednesday. You can also bring in your own wine for a corkage fee, which we do on many Fridays. When we bring my grandpa, we sit at a table or booth. When its just my husband and I, we prefer a bar top. You really cannot go wrong here.

Was shopping nearby and stopped in for some pizza. I got the pepperoni pizza and also tried the pulled pork flautas. Both were good, I enjoyed the pizza. Service was good and I got my food quickly as well.

I love this place! They have a lot of different types of pizzas. Ones I have never heard of before. We ordered the Korean bbq pizza. It was super good! I love arugula and it had tons of it. The beef was flavorful. Just enough spice to it without killing you with heat. Definitely ordering this again! We ordered an old-fashioned and a ginger mint paloma. I love palomas and it's usually my go to. This is the best paloma I have tasted. I have never had a ginger mint paloma before and now I will be looking for it at other restaurants. Cheers to the bartender! I also tried their pomegranate margarita. It was okay but definitely get the ginger mint paloma! For dessert we had the sizzling apple pie! I love how it sizzles! Sooooo good! Just enough sweetness without the overkill! Service was excellent! Tons of TV screens for games! Definitely will be returning!!!

Decided to come sit at the bar to grab a pizza and listen to some live music. First off. Love the bar. Lots of seating, great alcohol selection, cool bartender Veronica. She had a lot people and tables. Sat right next to the musician that was playing live music. He really was energizing the night up! Didn't drink tonight but decided to get a pizza and it was good. I've had better. But still good. Wood fire Pepperoni, Sausage and Ham pizza. I would recommend this pizza. Definitely want to try the other pizzas as well. They all look so good! This restaurant is also super clean, lively and modern looking. Very simple yet lively place. Will definitely be back to try the other

Went on a Thursday, I believe it was half off beers? They have a deal weekdays, and then live music on Saturday. Anyways the pizza was my favorite. Had feta, fig, arugula, and prosciutto, everything on that dough balanced each other out perfectly. Our server was so sweet and fast to get out order in and to keep the beers coming!

Do they take reservations for a larger party?

To my knowledge they don't but i have called ahead to let them know i had a party of 12 coming and I know they appreciated that.

Thanks for your response, Joe! Couple of questions: 1) How many calories are in your lowest calorie pizza crust?…

We don’t have a calorie profile set up for our menu. I would be more than happy to give you information on specific menu items. Joe.

Is there a full bar or just wine and beer?

The Placentia location now has a full bar. YL location has closed.

    Are there any vegan options?

I'm not a vegan so not 100% sure what that entails, but their menu does say "vegan cheese 50c more" so my guess is yes. They have many salads on their menu as well.

What time is their happy hour?

    2-6 Monday thru Friday

I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!

We chose to sit in the outdoor rooftop and the ambience was lovely, very cozy. We got the lump crab and avocado stack for an appetizer and it was so delicious! My parents got the artisan pizza and the arugula salad with salmon and said it was delicious, especially raving about the dressing for the salad and the wonderful amount of meat on the pizza I got the wood fired mushroom pizza and it was soooo good. My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.
