I believe this is a BYOB spot; bring a bottle, smoke a stick or 2 and connect with the guys. The humidor is decently spaced and includes a wide variety for new comers like myself. Also, Biggs was a great host, helped the lady decide on a stick and connected well over the evening. Ample parking as this is located in a shopping center. Perfect for a guys night, date night, or just solo vibes. I'll be back for all of the above. read more

Very nice selection in the walk-in humidor, but for a newbie like myself, it's a little overwhelming. I don't know much about them or what's good and what isn't. It would be nice if there was a bit more help as far as strength and such with the labeling. Prices are a bit more expensive than what I've seen at the cigar places in Charlotte. Walked in a few minutes after 11am Wednesday morning, greeted in the most disrespectful manner ever. "I'm not open ! " Clearly the lettering on the front door says you open at 11am. So I asked the attendant what time do you open. He states "when I open ". There's to many cigar shops in this city to give my money to a wise ash. read more

Really nice place, ran by folks who are very knowledgable about their products. An overwhelming selection of cigars and accessories to choose from. The ventilation system here is exceptionally good so you wont be walking into a cloud of a room. The members are super friendly and welcoming. Its a BYOB type of place and the rule is if your bottle touches the table, everyone shares...otherwise keep it right next to you lol. read more

Really nice shop! They've got a full selection of well-loved smokes including some boutique brands like Tatuaje and Illusione. Selection within most lines is not too deep or wide, but what they do have is great. Really nice, spacious and comfortable interior and a couple of nice chairs out front for enjoying an outdoor smoke. read more

John and the team at WiseAsh always make you feel welcome when you come in. The humi is well stocked and very well maintained and the lounge is excellent to relax in with a big screen TV and lots of leather chairs and couches as well as a poker table for some hold 'em fun. John frequently stays open late for games or ultimate fighting so make sure to get on his email list to know when he does. He also has great events with some excellent cigar deals, food and drinks and some nice prizes. read more

Great shop. John sold the store to Mike who took the reins and ran with it. Don't get me wrong, John was great and ultimately why we started going there but Mike really made the place a whole new business. He added new lines, fixed the place up a bit, moved things around, and the events are a lot of fun. Some of the sticks can be a dollar or two more than other places but I'd rather pay a little more for a cigar that is sored well and not dried out. He has poker nights on Tuesday and is always warm and friendly when you walk in. I also like that he doesn't mind recommending some cigars when asked. I'm a victim of habit. I go in and get my Perdomo almost every time. Drew Estate is also up there for me. Mike is always willing to help me branch out and try something new and every time he does I am not disappointed. Due to extensive travel with work, I seldom have the need to purchase cigars when I'm at home - I get them while I'm on the road. I woke up in the mood for a good smoke and after a short google search I found Wise Ash. The location is not 'close' to my home but I decided to make the drive and check it out, I'm surely glad that I did! Mike the owner is extremely personable and came across as very knowledgeable about cigars in general. I described what I was looking for and he made three recommendations, I purchased all three and opted to stay and torch one while I was there, his recommendation was spot on! Enjoyed another great evening with my friends (colleagues) who were in town from all a crossed the country. Everyone in our group felt right at home by the open atmosphere and free flowing conversation throughout WiseAsh. Mike has done a great job with the store. the lounge area is large and clean. One thing that stands out at Wiseash is the air control system.
