It's ok! With a name like Wiseguys, I was thinking it be a straight up New York slice. It kind of is, but only if you ordered it from Temu or Wish.com. It was more like sad New York slice and not the big dollar slice either. I liked that it was ready fairly fast, though it was re-heated after sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Freshness just wasn't there. I didn't have much interaction with the employees other than them taking my order. I guess the girl seemed nice enough, though she didn't seem too sure when I asked her what she liked. Kind of had the feeling she was peddling what was ready, rather than what she actually liked. So I ignored her suggestion. If you're hard up for circle shaped dough with some sauce, various meats/veggies and cheese, I say go for it. However, you will pay more than what you'll get (kind of a local norm). Which brings me to this next opinion. It applies to pretty much all the local service businesses in the area, not just WG's. This place seems to suffer from over-tourism. They don't seem to give too much of a sh!t about customers and it shows in pricing and service (shrinflation amirite!?!) True reason, it's because they know they'll make up lost local revenue in the form of tourism dollars. So they don't have to care. I'd love to give it another shot, only thing is I'm pretty sure it'll be just as mediocre as it usually is. read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to find a delivery option. I tried their online ordering and it wouldn't let me submit an order so I called to place a delivery order 2 hours before they closed. They told me they were no longer taking delivery orders that night and I could either dine in or do takeout. So I opted for takeout since it wasn't far away. I wanted some wings but she told me they were all out of bone-in wings and only had boneless, so that's what I ordered. You don't get a choice of sauce, they are just generic buffalo sauce. You do get a decent size portion that you could definitely share though. I also ordered a large order of garlic knots which was also a very generous portion. Overall, the pricing was reasonable but I was bummed that I couldn't get delivery 2 hours before close even though their website advertises it. Not having real wings was also a bummer. The food wasn't bad for the price and the pizzas I saw looked tempting for next time. It would also be nice if they provided utensils and napkins for takeout orders since I was in a hotel and had to go ask the front desk. read more

Pizza is definitely what they're known for. I really wish I could've tried the wings but never had the time to come back. I've had their pizza by the slice and it's very big and the crust is held together beautifully, the Fat Hawaiian I believe is what I had. I came here for the Super Bowl as well and I ordered their burger combo, not a bad burger but didn't taste the best, a bit dry and seemed stale. read more

Because my wife and I have different dietary needs, we order separate pizzas. It was not obvious at this location that you could order slices, and the smallest individual pizzas are over $20 if you have two or more toppings. The person taking our order was new and wasn't aware of what sauces were available and we ended up getting something we couldn't eat. $50 for two pizzas that we couldn't eat! read more

Forgetting to give us any salad dressing (realized after we got home) was the opposite of a chef's kiss. - 70min. From order to finish (Restaurant was 1/3 full, 8pm on a Thursday night). - My advice if you choose to dine here... Visited Wiseguy Pizza for Mother's Day. Service was great, loved the pizza and garlic knots but disappointed with the chicken on the ceasar salad. Looks like they've changed from high quality chicken to processed chicken. Unfortunately I won't be ordering a salad going forward, which use to be my favorite. read more

CRAP Service & Mediocre Pizza. This is your place!  I called Wise Guys Pizza to order some pizzas for a business meeting. A woman picked up the phone. I told her that I needed to place an order for pickup, so she asked me what I wanted. I proceeded to start to order and within four-five seconds she started yelling that I needed to stop because I was going too fast when, in actuality, she wasn't in front of the computer to take the order. That was the real issue. Her customer service is absolutely disgusting . I'm pretty sure I would have got better customer service from a small child. I did place the order because, on the recommendation of people here in Hailey, this is the place to get pizza. Fast forward to when I went to pick it up. When I got there, the dark-haired gentleman that was working the counter was unpleasant to say the least. He rang me out, I paid and then I went and sat at a table. A few minutes later, the same disgusting woman that took my order came over to question me about having the proper copy of the receipt which I had the customer copy. She said" oh I'll talk to the guy that took your order to figure out what he did with the receipt". Perhaps she should have spoken to him before she came over and, again, presented herself as a complete jackass once again.  While waiting for my pizzas, the person who I found out later was one of the owners motioned to me that it'd be another couple of minutes. I asked him if he was the owner. He said yes. I decided to tell him what happened on the phone. I started by saying, I'm sure that your pizza is fantastic, but the customer service isn't the best. I proceeded to explain the phone situation, at which point he cut me off and said that she wasn't in front of the computer. Apparently, that justifies her horrible behavior, great business model and attitude. Rather than apologizing and saying I'm sorry, he proceeded to basically act and speak as though it was my fault that I called to order pizza when she wasn't available to take the order. This guy is an absolute embarrassment, and a complete joke of a business owner. He is a VERY poor representation of this small business and should not in any way be running or owning a small business. I can see why the employees' customer service is absolutely crap. They have watched him being a jackass to customers and have followed suit. I could tell by his demeanor and attitude that he could care less. Again, he thought it was my fault because she wasn't by a computer to take the order. Here's an idea. Why don't you put the phones by computers. Problem solved. I decided to just take my pizzas and leave, at which time, as I was walking out, he told me that I could go buy pizza somewhere else. Apparently, he doesn't need or want $120 worth of business.  A simple I'm very sorry for the service that you received on the phone would have simply cleared the whole matter up. They decided to go in another direction. I guess they can do that since they're the only locally owned pizza place in town. Eventually, that will come to you and an end and Karma will catch up with them. After reading a few reviews, I noticed that they also have a very dishonest policy of adding a 20% gratuity on top of any order over $50 or more. Very dishonest. Based on the service I received, this ensures the employees get tips, as they wouldn't based on the quality of service they offer.  The one positive note. The restaurant was clean, bright and had a decent layout and the patio looked nice. read more

The wise guy pizza really hit the spot after a long day of hiking. The large with 12 pieces was just the right amount for me and my hiking partner. Crust was light and crispy and the toppings were ample. They had about 10 beers on tap as well. Many TVs for sports viewing. read more

I really was craving pizza! I'd been eating a lot of awesome salads all week thanks to the great conference lunches, but for the last night of my visit to the Hailey, Ketchum, & Sun Valley Idaho area, I was wanting something earthy like pizza! But the service was sarcastic, confused, poor & the prices were cha ching! I ordered 2 slices of pizza that were already made, they just needed to be reheated, a cup of water, and a half carafe of red wine ($15.95!) to share with my friend and paid for it at the register. The girl who took our orders humphed and hummed when we asked questions. OK, she's a teen - I can handle that - I teach middle school! After paying, I got an empty cup for my water & a metal number to put on our patio table outside for the rest (I assumed) of my order. Eye Rolling Service I got my 2 slices of pizza in a surprisingly long 10 min to reheat already prepared slices, but no wine. When asked, the kid delivering said "I'm not allowed to serve alcohol" OK, NP! ....I went inside to see where our vino was and the same teen girl who had rung us up said "Oh yeah, I guess I forgot about that" and she disappears into the back??? After a few min, she comes back from asking someone? and says "We don't serve half carafes" I turn around puzzled and point up to the chalkboard where it says 1/2 carafe $15.95. She says "yeah, it's there, but we don't have it anymore" I'm thinking, Wow...it's written in CHALK, why not wipe it off? Why take my money already? HUH? Why did I wait? I ask to speak to the manager, and she gives the best eye roll I've seen since 7th grade lunch duty! It was awesome! Said no customer, ever. Manager Makes it Better He comes out and after a little back and forth about their generous pours versus how many glasses are in a carafe or a bottle of wine, he takes care of me. He refunds the money from the carafe AND he gives us two generously poured glasses on the house for the long wait and the misunderstanding. So, that's why this review is 2 and not 1 star. I bring out the 2 glasses of house wine and we still waited another 10 min for my friends re-heated veggie pizza slices - by the time she gets hers, mine is cold. Darn those manners, my Mom taught me! All in all - Meh -- Ok. But man, get it together. At these prices we shouldn't have long waits for reheated pizza, annoyed teenagers, and misleading menus. For the record: I Googled (natch) and found out: "A typical wine bottle size is 750 ml that contains 25.4 fluid ounces. The glass size determines how many servings. For example, you'll get approximately 6 servings per bottle using a 4-ounce wine glass compared to 5 servings using a 5-ounce glass." read more

Stopped by for dinner before our flight out of sun valley. Service was okay, considering you just order at the counter and sit yourself. They do bring you the food when it's ready. Appreciated the TVs all over. We tried: Greek salad- it was ok. Kind of small and not super exciting. House pizza - same as above. Meat pizza - really good. We got the one with sausage, pepperoni, olives and mushrooms. The crust was really well done and there was lots of red sauce which I like. Most of the time when I have bad service I let it slide as they might be undertrained, having a bad day or busy. The service in this place was clearly engrained to be jerks. We weren't greeted they just stared at us, would not offer any guidance on if we needed to order at counter or sit down, we had to be pro active and ask about everything basic (COVID times so nothing was clear). I guess the name gives it away. If it's the branding of this place to be "wise guys" and take zero care for customers then they are succeeding. Unlike the other review there was a young man in there making pizza and he was nice when he delivered our pizza. The service in Ketchum is much better. The pizza is good, I would never complain about it and have ordered it many times in Ketchum. Seriously just teach your staff to say hello and take an order without snark and your ratings will improve. read more

I've noticed something about many small towns in this great country of ours, and that is that they usually have 1 crummy joynt shilling shit pizza for people that have sandpaper palates, which in this case would be the nearby Papa Murphys. Such places always make money serving up that cheap crap. When your competition is shit, all you need to do is offer something just marginally better and you're an instant success which is the case with Wise Guys. Considering how simple it is to make a really good pizza, I'm constantly surprised at how much mediocrity there still exists. The ffood at this place wasn't terrible, but thee people were. We walked in and stood by the register and were ignored by some punk kid with his hat on sideways for 5 mins. Apparently you order at the register. No greeting. Finally a woman came over and handed us a menu. We ordered beers and a pizza. We added anchovies to the pizza. The lady directed us to to sit down and said sshe would bring the beer momentarily. We sat there for at least 15 minutes before I got up to ask about the forgotten beer. She was just chit chatting with a friend and acted like a huge inconvenience when I asked for the beers. There were literally only 5 other people in the restaurant. Not busy. The pizza took forever and of course, did not have anchovies. When I complained, the woman gave me a dirty look and went into the kitchen. Soon a morbidly obese kid wearing a filthy apron came out holding a dixie cup filled with rotten anchovies and tried to explain to me that anchovies always go on the side. What a bunch of bullshit. I asked that we get refunded for the anchovies. The fat kid and his buddy with the sideways hat stood there laughing at us through the window in the kitchen door. It was close to closing, so they started putting up stools and turning off TV's before we had finished. The entire experience was awful. Unfortunately, I had left a tip since the way it works, you pay when you order here. Either way, the food was mediocre at best, and the wait staff are degenerates. read more
