The tang of the compote went really well with the silky bite of the foie gras on a crispy toast point. The Black Garlic fries were perfectly crispy, well seasoned, and delicious. It's a large serving that lasted through our main course. My husband enjoyed his pot roast. He remarked that it was quite filling despite the portion being on the smaller side. I ordered the Lobster Risotto. It was perfectly cooked with a seared scallop and tender lobster bits on top. I enjoyed every warm, creamy, buttery bite with relish. We finished off with a beautiful Persimmon Crème Brûlée. It had a lovely silky smooth custard and perfectly brûléed crust. I didn't taste any persimmon notes, but it didn't matter.
