Cool bar, however, smelled like a dirty ash tray. Move the smoking outside and it's 5 stars.

It wasn't noticeable in the evening, but by 8 or 9, the place fills with people and smoke.

Ozark, MO Okay,…read morereally really good Buffet... I'm not typically a buffet guy but would definitely do this again... Everything (except the Cinnamon rolls were great). Note to the culinary team, the C-rolls are dry, something to expect at the Courtyard Marriott free continental breakfast - not at your place... upgrade or 86 this item. Service was exceptional... Then of course the views and grounds were amazing... would definitely recco this place to anyone going to Springfield or Ozark.

So when I told him that there's another restaurant beneath The Mill, he was so excited to try it out. The entrance to the restaurant is quite interesting with a dark tunnel leading in to the main sitting area. Our host led us to our table promptly. We chose to sit inside. The ambiance is nice with low lights, heavy leather chairs, and dark wood tables. There's an outside dining area as well that includes views of the river and the grounds. Our server, Chris, was attentive and friendly. He brought our starters out in no time. The seared Foie Gras with blue berry compote was amazing! The tang of the compote went really well with the silky bite of the foie gras on a crispy toast point. The Black Garlic fries were perfectly crispy, well seasoned, and delicious. It's a large serving that lasted through our main course. My husband enjoyed his pot roast. He remarked that it was quite filling despite the portion being on the smaller side. I ordered the Lobster Risotto. It was perfectly cooked with a seared scallop and tender lobster bits on top. I enjoyed every warm, creamy, buttery bite with relish. We finished off with a beautiful Persimmon Crème Brûlée. It had a lovely silky smooth custard and perfectly brûléed crust. I didn't taste any persimmon notes, but it didn't matter. We were both quite pleased with the dessert. The Garrison is an upscale and classy, but inviting, establishment. You will feel comfortable and enjoy a pretty top notch meal. I look forward to another lovely evening at The Garrison soon.

First time here, good first impression…read more.. Stopped in for a bite to eat on a Friday night on the way home from Branson. Place was honestly pretty quite which was a surprise for a Friday night at 8:00. Ordered the queso with added ground beef for an appetizer. The dip was fantastic! Although the chips served with it were extremely salty. For entree I ordered the sirloin cooked med/rare. It was presented to me closer to medium, but delicious nonetheless, and it was a very thick cut, every bit of 2 inches. The loaded mashed potatoes were good, but slightly underwhelming, and the fries were great. Wife got the burger. She said it was really good, and the kids enjoyed their meals as well. Popcorn shrimp and "homemade" penne mac n cheese, but noted that the sauce was peppery. Not spicy, but had an overwhelming peppercorn taste. Service was fast and attentive. Again, first time here. I had never heard of them before this day but the food gave me a TGI Fridays vibe. This is a good thing IMO. I will definetly be back!

He said it was good except the sauce was very juicy and made the bun a bit soggy. I had the Chicken Ranch Alfredo. It's my weakness, it was delicious as always. We tried the buffalo chicken wontons, decent but we definitely like the chicken dip much better.
