The first cabin we stayed in there was tiny and there was no WiFi. The shower was literally yellow. We booked this place not ever going to the area. It was so sketchy I couldn't step out of the cabin without being scared to get shot. There was dirt everywhere the"beach" was gross and weedy. The "resort" doesn't even supply blankets! The TV was the size of ant man and had no good channels. We switched to a bigger cabin the next day and it wasn't any better. It was the same thing just an extra bedroom. There was nothing to eat around there and the kitchens were very small. The only fun thing we did was play catch with my sister with a baseball but what was more fun was playing catch with a cantaloupe! THE WORST PART WAS THE POOL! It was in a barn!? It smelt like rotten cheese and was tinted yellow! Ok, that's it long story short dont go here if you dont like camping. Ok I'm done.

They're located in a quiet bay that's great for fishing and also skiing / tubing in the middle of the day. The protected harbor has plenty of space, nice docks and electrical hook-ups for charging batteries. The indoor pool is great for both kids / adults and comes in handy when the weather is bad. There's a nice beach area with a shallow drop off that's perfect for water volleyball. They also added a full service restaurant recently and the food is great. I'm a bit of a glamping kind of lady and the cabins at Cedar Shores are log homes away from home. Everything was clean and even the comforters were freshly laundered. Our family stayed in cabin #6 and it has a beautiful deck with a fantastic view and direct access to the beach. They supplied the water toys to include kayaks and canoes. The beach was cleaned every morning by Louis, one of the family proprietors. If we needed anything, Juanita or Louis was right there for us. They care about their guests and give their property TLC. We hope to spend many more weeks in late summer at Cedar Shores!
