I started going when they were located in the Happy Canyon Shopping Center on Hampden Road, in Denver and I've continued my yearly lab work there since their move to the location on Arapahoe Road in Centennial. My experiences in Happy Canyon were always positive, but after the move to Centennial, the service was hit or miss. When it was a "miss", it was always a significant one." However, today was a refreshing change--it was truly a pleasant experience. Carrie was wonderful; she was friendly, kind, and returned my call promptly after I left a message this morning. Her efficiency and professionalism made my visit exceptional, and I sincerely appreciate everything she did today. Additionally, the best bonus is that she is an exceptional phlebotomist. I had been at this location with my daughter for fingerprinting and had a good experience with a different staff member. I explained that I had previously experienced problems with fingerprinting in the past because of a medical condition. As the process took longer and fingerprints had to be repeated she grew and more irritated and harsh. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. Avoid this place! Edited to add that the owner of the business called me after I sent him an email about my experience. He was kind and responsive. He seemed to care about my experience.

I called thinking maybe they just forgot to unlock and remove the sign after lunch or something, but there was no answer. I range the doorbell, also no answer. I waited on the steps for about 10 minutes before leaving. I get that beggars can't be choosers, but it would be helpful to be there for open-hours walk-in free testing if you're going to have those available and advertise them everywhere. The Denver Colorado AIDS Project and Denver Public Health Outreach have given rise to this unique testing center. I can't say enough good things about it. This staff and volunteers at this warm and inviting house clinic help to better educate sexually active individuals. The team at HeyDenver also work to provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL testing for sexually transmitted diseases/infections to anyone, however testing hours do lean heavier toward gay, bi and trans persons. HeyDenver is truly a worthwhile endeavor for the community, and a great organization to make a donation to.
