Worst Service ever. I brought my Playstation 3 in to be fixed, and was told 10-14 days (which seemed long in and of itself), It is now a month later and still haven't received it. I've called and talked to employee's and managers alike, and no one really seems to care. Every time someone has told me they would call me with details, I did not even receive a phone call back. I would have to second what Kris K. says about customer service. It's the WORST I have experienced in quite some time. Returning phone calls is something they simply fail to do. After numerous calls and trips to the Valley to deal with the technician on my case, I was unable to ever get satisfaction on an iPhone repair. DO NOT TAKE APPLE PRODUCTS HERE!! If you want to take your device somewhere for a cracked screen, I highly recommend you try elsewhere. After dropping off an apple product and told it would take 12 hrs, ended up getting it back 6 weeks later after dozens of unanswered phone calls AND it still didn't fit properly. The owner should have advised to take the product back to the apple store where they can give you a replacement that day for the same price that they charge. This place is horrible!!!!!! Took our PS3 in twice and they still couldn't do the simple repair they said they could. They also had the PS3 for over a month ! They said it got put on the wrong shelf and even after our weekly calls to see if it was fixed they fed us one lie after another. After the second pick up and it still didn't work ( just needed the bluray laser replaced) they refused to give any kind of refund. Disputed the charges with our credit card company and we are getting the funds back. This is a husband wife team, the husband is rude and has zero customer service skills, it would appear he is unable to handle simple PS3 repairs as well. Stay away! read more

Just googled this place to find their number as they did same day service on iPhone5 front glass screen for me about 6 months ago. I thought their service was EXCELLENT. Was shocked to see some of these reviews on Yelp. Yes the owner was carrying his handgun but when I commented on it, he informed me of their Concealed Carry discount. Excellent, excellent place! Called on a Saturday for a shattered iPhone. Went right down, dropped phone off and 20 min later it was done. Price was exactly as listed on website, technician was very nice and professional. Was very happy and very desperate -- they took care of my urgent need. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Promised in 4 days took 3 weeks. They wont honor there repair work, if you pick up your item and it is not fixed they wont fix it. I recently moved back to spokane and during the move my iMac was damaged. My insurance company recommended that I take it to this place. At the time I didn't know that wka was not an authorized Mac repair shop. So a month later after they replaced the hard drive, cd drive, stand and cleaned the computer I got it home and realized that the fan was super loud. Like a vacuum cleaner. I chalked it up to a bigger hard drive running hotter. There was also a new program installed to run the fan. I messed around with it and it wouldn't work the fan was still going crazy. I also noticed that there was still dirt inside the screen and the "new" stand had a horrific piece of profanity attached to the back. (It was a WKA sticker) I attempted to remove that nastiness and saw another sticker below it. Basically I paid for a new stand and got a used one. The WKA sticker was placed on top to hide it. This is where I started to really question why the fan was running so fast and obnoxiously loud. So my iMac and I took a road trip to the apple store to see what was going on. To my surprise the iMac didn't have a temp sensor installed on the hard drive. Not only that but a third party drive was installed and apple would no longer be able to work on my computer.....Unfortunately the iMac and I needed to pay the WKA place another visit. I was told that the temp sensor was installed in the correct spot and that apple was only trying to get me to spend more money. I was also told that this is how it is and that apple most likely messed it up with a firmware update. So on the iMac and I go to a little heavenly place for apple products that have been abused by businesses like WKA called Strong Solutions. Within 24 hours of dropping off my computer I got a phone call stating that....you guessed it. No temp sensor installed on the hard drive. My computer works great now and I can actually tolerate writing a paper without earplugs in. To sum things up I am actually very grateful for WKA. If it wasn't for your overall unprofessional, dirty, and insulting business I would have never discovered the people at strong solutions and got my computer fixed. Stay away from this place and save yourself some time, stress and hearing loss. Strong solutions or apple might be a little more expensive but at least you get a product back the way the manufacture intended it to be. Do not take your Ipod here!! I took my Ipod here to get my cracked screen fixed. They told me it would be 21 days until its done. Well I had to call them because I never got a call or anything and they told me it would be a little bit longer because the screen wouldn't stick on. over TWO MONTHS later we could finally pick it up. I got it back and it looked nice... Until later on the screen started popping out, it will barely stay connected to the internet, and the head phones jack doesn't work!! They broke it more than it was actually broken. Never never never, going there again. I wouldn't suggest anyone else go there. HORRIBLE!!!. Took my tablet here to get a screen replaced. The whole experience was a huge headache! first I was told they were waiting for the adheisive to set then I could pick it up. Drove all the way to the valley to pick it up and they were CLOSED. Then they told me they hadn't gotten to it yet and it would be another week. Next it was thst the screen was not fitting right. After the 50th lie I told him I just wanted my tablet back. It came back to me in pieces.He didnt even bother putting it back together! I recently took it to another place who told me the least WKA owed me was a new tablet. My speakers were gone, they broke the internal mic and front faced camera, They didn't even bother to unscrew the back then take it off, they just ripped it off, breaking the screw spots, I AM FILING A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY!!! He will lie and tell you your equipment isn't worth saving yet you will find out later he just parted it out and sold it back to you. Poor business ethics and customer service. Was told 21 days to replace screen on iPod. I kept calling on a Friday morning (end of week 4) and was told each time they were dealing with customers. I have never seen this place busy!!! When I decided to drop in since they wouldn't return my calls, I was told they were working on it (no wonder they wouldn't talk to me). I was told it would be done on the following Monday. A week later, I go in to pick it up and they tell me they need to charge it to make sure it works and I'll have to wait!!! REALLY?!?!!! Terrible experience! Brought in my x box gaming system because the tray would not stay closed. Was told it was probably just off the track and even though they were roughly 10 days out it could probably be fixed within a few days since it would be easy. I called 2 weeks later and it was still not ready. (they were also very rude when asked why it was taking longer than the time frame they gave me). Finally, almost 4 weeks later they called to tell me it was unfixable and offered to scrap it for me. They had taken my money at drop off and did not offer a refund when they called back. I said thanks but no thanks. When we picked it up we asked for the refund as it stated in the agreement that if they couldn't fix it we could receive it. I was able to get the money back. They told me that it had something to do with a lubricant that was unavailable and to try back in 6 months. We decided to get a second opinion at Trade a Game. I brought the system in on a Friday and get the call it had been fixed the very next Monday. It was a switch on the tray that needed replaced. I was charged less than the labor fee alone at WKA for the part and labor. Please, save yourself a lot of time and anguish, go to Trade a Game. They were extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. WKA clearly had no clue and I feel may have been trying to get my system to fix and resell. read more

Very unhappy customer! We took our laptop to WKA Innovations in 9/13/2011. They said the laptop a would need a new hard drive, which we purchased as well as a new fan for the laptop and the labor fee total =251.00. The date is now 10/18/2011. We have to call them periodically they do not returns calls very well. I think we maybe received 2 return calls in the last 4 months, and I am being generous. Daniel (tech) installed the new hard drive, laptop would not work. now they say computer needs new motherboard. Daniel said we could either buy that, or purchase a refurbished laptop they have for 250.00. Daughter needed her laptop for college so we purchased the refurbished Toshiba they offered. Total now 521.00 after tax. bring the laptop home plug it in, attempt to turn it on...NOTHING! Noticed the power cord had some electrical tape in the middle of it. unwrapped the tape, exposed wires are only twisted together no connectors. My husband put the wires back together properly and checked the continuity to the cord it tested fine. Still the laptop will not work. I called WKA left a message as to the problem. No return call...AGAIN! Called back a day or two later spoke with Daniel, who tried to troubleshoot over the phone. ie: are all the cords plugged in are you sure your outlet works...blah blah blah. He says, I dont know what to tell you, you need to bring it in. UGH! So... due to my work schedule today is my first opportunity to do that. I take the laptop in and tell Daniel again what the issues are. Also I mentioned the cord and the work we did on it. He fiddles with it on the desk in front of me, doesnt work. He picks it up carries it in back comes back out after about 15 min and says "there was a screw inside that shorted out the motherboard, and unfortunately since you messed with the power cord it voids your warranty on the computer. I asked him if he was implying that we put the screw in the laptop, he says well we had it apart and didnt see any screw. All he says he can do for me is give me half of what the new hard drive cost which amounts to 125.00. I gave them 521.00 in cash for this whole fiasco and he offers me 125.00. He knows damn well we didnt open that laptop up and put a screw inside. Daniel was unsympathetic. I just placed a call to him asking about my daughters recovered files that were installed on that hard drive. He said he was in the process of erasing the hard drive now but could stop it and see if there are any left on there, but he suspects they have been wiped. I told him how unprofessional and tacky his customer service was and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this. He then "states well one of my other customers that was here when you were, said he has delt with you before and you have always been a bi#%*. WOW that was professional! Do yourselves a favor and dont give him any business, you will regret it. read more

Well, guess what, you can add one more disaster to the long list. Daniel is the owner, and is VERY good at twisting words, making promises, conveniently forgetting certain details about conversations, and playing the "he said, she said" game. I only used these folks because of a recommendation, and the folks doing the recommendation are now incredibly embarrassed and disappointed. I realize supporting documentation is needed to substantiate claims (both positive and negative), and I don't think they would add significantly to the discourse. But I totally echo the strong advice to go elsewhere for ANY kind of service, as you should be completely prepared for unparallelled frustration should you make the mistake I did by going to WKA Innovations. I am not guessing that YELP (or other such sites) are checked by most folks, so it is sad these reviews may not be widely viewed. Customer service is not their number one (or two or three, maybe not even four) goal, and you will find that your frustrations will be met with a disarmingly calm defense of his lack of results or communication. I never would have placed a review out here except that I was told there was some out here already and I know there must be others equally extremely frustrated and we should all contribute. Unfortunately, 1-star is the lowest we can go on this site. Here is hoping we have spared some folks significant anger and frustration, where this company is concerned anyway!! read more

I took a laptop that died to them and asked if they could retrieve some of my files. As I was trying to explain which files I needed, I could tell the guy I was talking to wasn't listening. He gave me a quote and told me it would be two weeks. I can back two weeks later and it wasn't done. Tey told me to come back two days later. When I came back two days later, it was as though they had no idea who I was or what laptop I was talking about. I had to go into the back room and find my laptop among a few dozen laptops that were strewn all over the floors. I had to step over several other people's computers to find mine, because there wasn't even a walking path. I found mine underneath someone else's and under a few miscellaneous cords. They hadn't done anything with it. It ended up taking another month and a half. They charged me twice as much as I was quoted, and they took more than 4 times as long as they said. Every time I called to check on the progress, the owner was rude and tried to be intimidating. His wife was unprofessional. read more
