We have eaten from here probably 3 times in the past 2 years and liked the food. Tried it again this week and won't be going back. The chicken chop suey had very little taste and wad quite watery. The beef with mushrooms and snow peas was better, although pretty scarce on the mushrooms. Worst of all was the veggie fried rice. It was clumpy like sticky rice and had very little flavor also. Based on the reviews here. we ordered delivery last night. First things first: I ordered online and my address autofilled in. I didn't really pay attention to it as its almost always right on every website that does that. 2 mins later I get a call from the restaurant asking are you SURE this is your address? They read it back to me and I was like - no. Same numbers but Im on an entirely different avenue. Guy informs me that I am in a different zone for delivery then and it would be $1 more...ok fair enough. Gas prices suck so Im okay with the extra buck. I don't know whats at the address that autofilled but apparently the crew knew something was up with it. TOTAL BONUS POINTS FOR CATCHING THAT! We got some crab puffs (a bit sweet for my taste but nicely fried). She got chicken(?) chow mein or maybe it was beef...and I got teriyaki beef in a bento box which is in a cool takeaway container. I wanted to save it but was vetoed on that as we have way too many storage containers as is LOL. Ok, my bad on the teriyaki - it too was a bit too sweet for my likes and I went off the reservation on that one for no reason other than it sounded like a good idea at the time. It's not bad mind you. I enjoyed it, actually but will go a different (more usual direction) for me next time. Apparently, the chow mein is also good - it's hard to find chow mein with the crispy noodles that many of us grew up with. You know, the ones that come in that cardboard "tin". These guys have it. Got the Szechuan beef lunch combo with hot and sour soup. Szechuan beef was super tender but had little seasoning. The dish had no spice. Which is crazy to me, cause I'm used to ordering Szechuan and getting that addicting mouth numbing effect that comes with it, but this wasn't even close. The veggies were the real star here. Broccoli, carrots, onions were all cooked perfectly and fresh. The fried rice is just rice with soy sauce. Added a lot hot mustard at home to fix the blandness. Definitely the best shrimp egg foo young in the metro Phoenix area. They make the patties fresh and put the shrimp inside the patties. The gravy is perfectly made. When I first moved to the Phoenix area I called and visited nearly every Chinese restaurant on the east side and the west side. Nearly every restaurant made the patties ahead of time and sprinkled the shrimp on top or on the side. They also seemed to like to add peas and carrots (very strange). I have been using this restaurant for several years, imagine my disappointment when the Beef Chow Fun came but was missing the noodles?! Imagine my shock when I was asked to send a picture of the food to a phone number and was called a liar! They finally said they would bring a new meal but didn't admit guilt. When she got here she took the original food and handed me the new food and said, " It's the same thing." and left. The new food was covered with noodles just like I expected. Lady at the register was sweet. I almost didn't go in because I wanted a place I could relax a bit with a meal and it's fairly spartan, but I'm glad I did. Food was really good quality, generous portions, and pretty healthy! Easily two meals out of an entree. This was the second time we ordered from here. We got the cream cheese puffs. Egg roll and wonton soup to start. Soup and puffs good but the Ny egg roll not so much was hard at some areas and tough to bite not fresh at all. We got the soft noodles pork orange chicken and chicken w mixed veggies all the entrees are delicious. The pork fried rice on the other had not a fan. The rice is too soft for me no flavor and has too much onion for my liking. It's actually a fried rice I'm not used too I would not ordered it again. My kids like the orange chicken from here nice size pieces of chicken. I'm sure I'll order again from here just no fried rice or NY egg roll will try something different. read more

We really wanted this to be a good place after our go-to Asian restaurant closed. We ordered spring rolls, chicken with cashew nuts, pork chow fun, and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was good. But that's where the goodness ended. The spring rolls were not cooked enough. One side was still doughy. My wife's order of cashew chicken went uneaten. Way too salty and just not good flavors. The noodles in my pork chow fun were WAY overcooked-- nothing but a mushy pile of goop. The pork wasn't bad, but the noodles, the main part of the dish, were not good at all. I guess we'll have to keep looking. I doubt we'll go back to this place and risk wasting the price of a meal on dos we can't eat. read more

First time here, carry out. Saturday early evening. I moved here from Chicago suburbs 15 years ago. IMO the Chinese food is really good there. In AZ non-existent. Love P F Chang's but not really what you think of as far as Chinese. Anyway, I found this place because only a few have egg foo young. I thought it was excellent. Egg that you can taste, vegetables and meat you can taste and recognize by sight, not a ball of egg wash and bean sprouts. The sauce very flavorful as well. Wife had Kung pao chicken and said it was great. Also got chicken wok fired rice. Beautiful pieces of chicken in the rice. As a side,the New York egg rolls were really good, you can taste how fresh the cabbage was in them, so maybe homemade, IDK. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. read more
