Hong Kong noodles, tofu and veggies, without mushrooms, house sauce

Favorite Chinese food place ever. I went here lots when I lived in Peoria. I moved across the country 4 years ago and I've tried lots of different places in my new area, and have not been able to find any other place that does Hong Kong noodles nearly as good as Wok Fire does (if at all). I miss them sooo much. I finally traveled back to AZ for the first time since I moved, and Wok Fire was the first place I went to eat! Thank you so much for the fantastic food :)

    Crispy Noodles

Service is good and place clean. Food is not good. Eggplant was mushy and dry. Crispy noodles was soggy and too salty. Sweet sour pork had way too much breading. It was like eating doughnut balls and sauce watery. Everything was awful. Threw away $50 in food. Was one of worst chinese food i have had. Chef pull out your passion in what u cook. Thats is how you keep customers coming back. I will not.

Found this restaurant while I was in the area so decided to check it out. It's a hole in the wall place in a strip mall. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. I ordered their beef lo mein and was not impressed with the taste nor the size of the dish. Wife had their Szechwan beef and was not impressed either. Unfortunately I probably won't go back.

Not what I was expecting. It's a very small restaurant with about 8 tables that seat mostly 2 people, with a few seating up to 4 people. It's definitely a no frills eat and go type of place. You order at the counter and the food is brought out when ready. We went around noon and there was one other customer dining in. I ordered their Szechuan beef lunch special which comes with soup or egg roll. I chose sweet and sour soup. The soup was ok, did not have much flavor so I added a ton of hot oil which helped. I thought the portion size of my lunch was on the smaller side but for $8.55 hard to complain and the vegetables were very fresh. Hubby ordered beef Lo Mein $11.55. I thought his portion size was small too. He said the beef tasted too soft which I had to agree. Service was fine. I think this restaurant would benefit from a makeover.

We're in the area and craving Chinese food, made a quick stop and so glad we did! The cashier was so kind and patient while we looked over their large menu. They have everything! Super authentic. There was a large family in there 10-12 people and they were comfortable, although it's a small family owned spot it was really accommodating. We were not a fan of the crab puffs they were really sweet which caught us off guard. But our meals were delicious! I don't even like pepper and the black pepper chicken was so so good! Loved the feel of feeling like I was in a families kitchen waiting for a home cooked meal. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!

Every dish we've ever enjoyed has surpassed what was expected their dishes are always over flowing with fresh vegetables and meat with fantastic sauces too. We highly recommend this little gem tucked away in the Albertsons parking lot.

    Sweet and Sour Chicken, not.

This place had a high rating on a delivery app so I tried it. I ordered sweet and chicken that didn't look anything like the picture. No peppers, pineapple or onion and was tempura soggy fried. The fried rice was greasy with a lot of onions.

Great food and great service! I had the organs chicken and chow mein noodles. I will be coming back soon to try other menu items.

We walked into a COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant. There was a man folding napkins and he said "sit anywhere!" Ooookay, so we sat at a booth, the RUDE waitress comes over to take our orders, "what you wanna order!?" Super aggressive! We order our usual. During that time I realized that it would be easier to eat at a round table so we could use the lazy Susan in the middle to easily reach our food. So we got up and we're going to move when the man who was folding napkins said "no! Wait for your waitress!" Waitress comes back and literally YELLED at us! Saying, "no!!! Sit at the booth!!" I tried explaining that the table would be too small and she continued to yell at me. I was on the verge of tears and didn't understand why she was so upset. Since we did not eat or drink anything, my husband said "let's go!" So we excused ourselves and left. The man folding napkins stood up and ran to the exit and started recording us. Not only was I scared, but my son started crying and my 70 year old mother began wheezing and breathing fast... they literally ran out of the restaurant as we were getting into our car and kept yelling & recording! I used to order $150-200 food EVERY MONTH!!! However we ALWAYS did pick up. Had I known how TERRIBLE THEIR SERVICE IS, I would neeeeeever have contributed to them!!! Absolutely horrible horrible hooooorible service! DO NOT GO HERE!! There are plenty other places to eat with better service!!! Huge pass and will never ever eeever return

You order, pay at the counter and grab your beverage from the refrigerator. Your meal is packed in styrofoam so you either take out or eat in at one of the few tables inside. Parking is very easy because they are at the end of a strip mall in a big parking lot. Our food was very fresh. Portions were very large. The chicken in our dishes was masterfully moist and very tender. The food is a very good value if you like it. We ordered the yui shan chicken and the garlic chicken combos (only around $1. more to get soup, crab puff, egg roll and an upgrade from white rice to fried rice.) Based on only trying two dishes my conclusion is that they serve Arizona Style American Chinese Food. It is far less complex, less flavorful, and much less spicy than east coast American take out Chinese Food. It's not bad food in anyway so if you are from Arizona it is very good food. We started eating at the restaurant but I got the idea that I could take the food home and improve it for my taste. The food stayed piping hot and it did taste much better with just a spoonful of chili crisp added more flavors and some needed heat. The people working there seemed very nice and the restaurant looked sparkling clean. 3 stars is a positive review and means A-OK on Yelp. I visited early in the afternoon - after the lunch rush - but still during the lunch hours. First, the greeting was very unfriendly. The server was distracted conversing with another server and paying little attention to our order. Absolutely zero friendliness. I felt I was an intruder! I ordered a Diet Coke. It was horrible. Obviously, the syrup was low so I had basically unflavored carbonated water. I had the lunch special for General Zso chicken. Zero taste. The egg roll was uninspiring. The egg drop soup was mediocre- at best. And, the entire restaurant was freezing. It was 110+ degrees outside. So, a cool place is welcomed. And I like the temperature cool - like, my home thermostats are set between 70 and 72 in the summer. But, the temperature in the restaurant was much, much colder. Simply, unpleasant experience. I left without eating my lunch. I had a taste of the Diet Coke, a bite of the chicken, a bite of the egg roll - and nothing else. This place made my list! (Of do not return)... and, I am on a continued search for a good Asian restaurant in the Phoenix area.
