Half order of the cream cheese wontons, so good!!
    Mickenzee R.

Amazing! This place is my new go-to when I'm craving Chinese. I used to come here all the time when I was younger, but Chinese food isn't really something I crave so I forgot about it. Since moving into their new building (it's literally just down the street from the old location) I've heard so many good things about it so I thought I'd give it a try. The new location is so clean, and the service has been excellent. I highly recommend trying the pon pon chicken, its delicious. Their egg drop soup is delicious too, and you definitely should try the cream cheese wontons, they're so good! Because I order for just for myself they have let me do a half order of the wontons, even though it's not listed on the menu. The regular order comes with 8. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

The place looks new and clean. The owner helped me find the things I was looking for in the menu. I ordered two lunch special, the orange chicken and Satak Beef with Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both came with Egg Drop Soup and a Egg Roll. The portions were huge. The orange chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken were ok. The Satak Beef was salty and full of zucchini squash, my least favorite. The fried rice was bland, with very tittle ham or veggies. The Egg Drop Soup was really good, full of veggies. The egg rolls were not my favorite. While I was waiting for my food a female customer walked in. She seems to be a frequent customer since the conversation with the waitress was very personalized. The waitress seated her on the table next to me, and she immediately asked to be moved to the other side of the restaurant. A few minutes later, when the waitress went to the kitchen, this customer approached me and yelled at me because I was speaking Spanish on the phone. Apparently she was not to happy that I was speaking Spanish on the phone while she was trying to enjoy her food. Not my first time dealing with this kind of people or situation. Some people need to learn how to respect others, specially when I'm a paying customer as well. This is NOT the restaurant fault, but this customer can keep her spot as a loyal clientele without worries because I didn't like the food that much to go back.

I've been coming to Wok King Cafe since I was a little girl! We love the owners family and the food is delicious!

Really enjoyed my meal here! They give out large portions and the all the food I had was delicious. They give out such large portions here that I could not finish what I had left even though I wanted to. The staff was nice and the food came out quick. Great place to go for a nice lunch. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. Would recommend, I'm sure I'll be back there soon.

Try this amazing Chinese restaurant!! Have been coming here for years. The egg rolls are ridiculously delicious. My favorites are general jor's chicken, orange chicken, Pork lo mein and ham fried rice. The people working here are so nice! Clean dining room. Giant portions and Tasty good food!

Combination dinner--chow Mein, sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp. Not pictured: lots of ham fried rice!

Growing up in the area, this was our family GO TO for Chinese. They've moved to a new location which feels a lot more takeout, less sit down. But the food is still fantastic. I went on a weeknight to fulfill a pregnancy craving and was super pleased with the quick service and huge portions of classic Americanized Chinese food. My favorite thing here is the egg foo yong, so I ordered a side portion to go with my combo meal. I love pretty much everything I've tried on the menu and just look forward to my next trip. I'm salivating as I type.

    fried shrimp, all uncooked dough.

This was one of the worst Chinese food experiences we have ever had. Took home $50 worth of food and could not eat any of it. The sweet and sour chicken was breaded with some grey gooey I don't know what and so thick you could barely see any chicken inside. And the taste was awful. It was so thick it was not cooked thru. We had the bo bo platter and that was just as bad. The shrimp had the same horrible batter. Had cashew chicken that had no flavor at all. So disappointed. I don't know how there are 5 star reviews it was really awful.

Wonton soup togo: soo many veggies!

I tried take out from here a few nights ago, so I can't comment on the inside or service much, but this definitely would not be my first stop for Chinese. The good: I did enjoy the wonton soup. It's enough for a meal on is own and is loaded with veggies and wontons. It also had a lot of pork strips, if you enjoy that. Overall it was a good value, in terms of portion size. There bad: The ham fried rice is extremely bland. It hardly looks like it was fried, and only has ham& egg added to it. Definitely not worth the up charge. The beef and broccoli was OK, but a little salty and the beef was really pale in color.

Sweet and sour soup with lunch special

Came here for the lunch special today. Chowmein (Cantonese soft noodles extra $0.85) woth eggroll. The order comes with ham fried rice and sweet and sour soup. It was good and not too salty like other Chinese places. They use vegetable oil. I would recommend thisbplace for the quality and cleanliness of the food.

    Fun, delicious Chinese place!

It was close and the pictures looked like just what I wanted. We learned though don't leave your house at 5:30 pm ever. It took as an hour to go 5.3 miles. The traffic was extra horrible in all directions. When we finally arrived we were both really hungry. We ordered the Family Special B. We both chose our own entree and we picked Walnut Shrimp and Mongolian Beef. It comes with four fried shrimp and 4 cheese wontons, fried rice and of course the mandatory fortune cookie. The inside looks cute and cozy. Buddha greets you and he's happy because he was dripping in dollars. They were really busy and people kept pouring in so I didn't get to ask why he had all those bills. The food was delicious. It came with Hot and Sour Soup which was hot in temperature and in spiciness. The shrimp was fresh and melted in your mouth. The Mongolian Beef is drenched in onions, celery and peppers and had some heat too. They were kind and we will be back. That way I can get to the bottom of the Buddha.

The shrimps were big and there were 8 pieces which was generous. The dinner combo was missing the egg drop soup I selected for my order and the ham fried rice was hard (-1 star for this). However, the sides egg roll, cream cheese ragoon, and pan fried chicken were a plus to the dinner combo. The wonton soup I ordered separately was amazing and I could eat it in two meals since it was one big size. The price was pretty good for the amount of food and quality.

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. A lot of the food like beef and broccoli and orange chicken look like it was the last serving or two a young lady came in after me and once we put our servings of each food, the owner then had to cook I was kind of disappointed because the beef and broccoli sounded amazing, but the actual look of it wasn't really appealing. The noodles were kind of flat, not like what I'm used to more rounded egg noodles. The fried rice had ham in it and I don't eat pork. They had a lot of different options. Shrimp was included. Teriyaki beef what they called. And extras were the wonton, sesame balls, veggie eggrolls, etc... I took my main side as noodles, then sides as beef and broccoli, beef teriyaki, and tempura shrimp. They asked at the end if you want Sawsan they add it to your compartment you pay roughly $11 and change. I like the noodles I didn't love them, beef and broccoli was good. Probably would've been better if it was fresh. The shrimp was pretty tasty with the side sauce. Kind of reminded you sweet honey and walnut temporary shrimp that you get from other places. Just without the walnuts and the sauce on the side, which is pretty nice because sometimes you can get too sweet. The fried beef teriyaki, absolutely not. That was by far probably the worst thing I've tasted. The meat did not taste like meat. I ended up taking a bite and throwing it out. Honestly, I think if you can get the food super fresh when they put it out it probably taste a lot better so that's why I gave it three out of five stars. One for the customer service, two for most of the food being decent, and three for the simplicity of putting whatever you want basically self-serve.. Until next time, happy yelping
