We ordered beef with black pepper sauce and kun paw chicken and white rice. We received our order and were finished eating by 9:30! Both dishes were labelled spicy but were not really very spicy, but were full of fresh vegetables and well flavoured. The residents of Pontypool are lucky to have such a gem in their village. The chicken balls seem small but that is becasue they are not totally caked in breading and the breading that is on them is crispy delicious and not greasy at all. You get pretty much an equal portion of breading to chicken so you are not so full of breading and you're able to enjoy more of their other great dishes. Their food is not greasy at all. The garlic shrimp is delicious (I am a spice wuss and it has a bit of a bite to it, but I still eat it because it is so good). I've ventured into different dishes with this food because all of their food is so good! They are fast and hot with takeout! We were rescued by people who helped us over snow drifts to get to the restaurant and enjoyed an amazing meal at an even more amazing price. Hard to find these days. When we left, an owner or employee (owner I think) knew we'd have problems and left with us (no coat on) and guided us through the snow. My friend had to circle the block, but got lost.... and there I stood until I finally went back into the restaurant with the help of another good Samaritan. When I called and guided my friend back.. the same Leon's worker again walked me out into the snow, over the snowbanks, and to the car. I cannot say enough about the food, the service (beyond the call of duty) and the ambiance. I highly recommend Leon's. Great food at a great price, run by great people!!!
