The other was Greg Sanchez, who had a phone number and a web site. We visited his site and we were pleased with what we found. The ability to make an appointment ONLINE on a SUNDAY was what sealed the deal. We soon received an email confirming everything. On the inspection day he arrived with a co-worker and they were both very friendly and professional. They got right to work and told us if we had any questions feel free to ask. We of course had a lot of questions along the way. He was able to answer all of them and give us ideas and tips for caring for the home. Before we left, we had a full report emailed to us that we were able to view on a mobile phone while still in the home. We were also told he keeps his records for 7 years, so he would be happy to answer any questions we had after the inspection. This is our second time buying a home and the experience Greg provided went above and beyond our last experience with another company. Can't say enough good things about Greg. Very thorough HIGHLY recommended!!

He did not--the report was short and omitted most of the useful maintenance notes I've relied on with past home purchases. He said the stove top was working. It's induction, which means it only works if you have a metal pan--he didn't have a pan! He suggested we change a furnace filter ... but omitted the detail that the filter was FOUR YEARS old. And didn't check the other two filters, which were 4 and 5 years old and mostly dust and mildew. The biggest problem he missed? A part in the furnace was cracked and leaking water, which meant the furnace is almost dead. My service tech caught that and we are buying a new furnace. If Greg had done his job, we would have asked the sellers to pay for it. They broke it by not replacing filters. He also didn't tell us the dishwasher and washing machine were almost dead. The water here is very hard (calcium) and the water softener he said was working fine was broken and turned off. The dishwasher and washing machine were full of the white residue from calcium. We already bought new appliances and are putting in a water softener system. Greg's poor quality report cost us thousands. Was he working for the seller or is he incompetent?

They were responsive, quoted us fairly, on time, professional and lead with integrity. Last fall when we received the quote, we had some other repairs on the house that needed to be completed first. Davco told us what we could do in the meantime to tide us over, which they were under no obligation to do. Their suggestions worked AND when we reached out to them last month to say we were ready to start our chimney and foundation work, not only did they honor the quote, they had us booked on the calendar within a week. The masonry work they did on our house looks beautiful and they're even coming back to complete the last couple of spots after National Grid wraps our power lines. I can't say enough about this company. We will always use and recommend them.

On 4/24/25 I contracted with Davco to have a cement sidewalk connecting the existing east side…read moresidewalk around the back of the home to a existing patio then from the patio up the west side of the home connecting to the existing front sidewalk. The contract stated 98LF,5"wide, and 6" deep as discussed.the price of the job was 8,400.00 which was paid in cash 50% to start, 25% after removal of forms and 25% upon completion. The job was started approximately June 10th, by mid August the cement was pitting, a crack formed where the sidewalk meets the patio, no backfill was placed and cement on the garage and house.Dave was contacted and did send a worker to clean but nothing else was addressed. Two other workers stopped by and stated the job was not done correctly there is a heaved, and the crack was a combination of no rebar and excavation was not done properly. Fast forward to April 2026,after the winter there is a second crack on the east side connecting to the existing front sidewalk. My husband contacted Dave via email stated the job is not complete no backfill still and two cracks now. Dave set a worker to backfill and stopped himself where he had a conversation with my husband about the cracks and in his mind the job was completed and offered no reason for the cracks. I have left 2 voice messages May/June No response! The ironic piece of this story the supervisor of this job stopped by August 2025 on his own to make the necessary corrections to the job. Unbeknown to us he had been fired from Davco 2025 based on two botched jobs one being a garage as told to us by an employee. All I want is what I paid for and a little customer service goes a long way. The owner could care less if a customer is pleased. He tries to bully people by his attitude and belligerent manners. Made a complaint to the BBB which he has not responded to. I would not recommend him or his company to a dead man!

We called Accurate Pest Control after being totally fed-up with a well known national brand located…read morein Albany. We were covered under an exclusion program that was ineffective, disappointing and expensive. Mike came and did an inspection and proposed that they re-do our exclusion work and have the home serviced for general extermination on a regular basis. The original exclusion work done by the other company was 2 technicians for 4-6 hours. Mike and his team attacked every corner of the house and were on site for the better part of 2 days... and the best part was they quickly tracked down and located a rodent entry point that the other company repeatedly overlooked. Our history with continued pest infiltration caused a section of our finished basement ceiling to be riddled with mouse droppings. When I mentioned to Mike we were interested in replacing the ceiling, he offered their services and provided a proposal to not only remove and replace the ceiling, but to properly remediate the space with vacuuming, sanitizing, insulation replacement etc. Said another way, not just a ceiling replacement, but a proper environmental hazard clean up. The ceiling turned out beautiful and the entire space was cleaned and sanitized upon completion. The regular service has also been effective. We get the same technician who takes the time to properly check and treat inside and out. So far it was been a pleasure to have this team work in our home. They are polite, they arrive when they say they will and do what they said they will do. Special shout to Mike who has been at the helm of fixing what their competitor was unable to handle.

I bought this house not knowing how bad termite issues can be, but I'm 100% glad I called these people. They aren't some big box place that is looking to milk you for every dollar. They do what's most important, which is provide a service for a reasonable price while keeping customers trust knowing they're not trying to sell me extra things every chance they get. 10/10 times I would use these people. They took care of some squirrels for me too. The service techs here stay in constant communication when needed (squirrels are quite a pest), and again I just really appreciate they don't try to get me for every dollar. I can't say enough good about them. Service techs are always friendly. The woman who answers the phone is also always very friendly. It's great.

The schedule was delayed a day due to rain, however they arrived the following day right on time, and the entire process was completed in one day. I scheduled for this on a Monday and service was completed Saturday. Quick turn around! And they left my home and lawn area super clean. My only nitpick is their trailer stayed on my property for 3 days after the work was completed, this was just an inconvenience. Otherwise, I was extremely happy with the service and my roof looks great.

She attempted to deflect her company's negligence onto us, the homeowners, and she lost in court. This shady company unlikely has insurance coverage & is unlikely to honor any "warranty" as we've learned in court. In June 2024 we hired Klaus Roofing Systems to replace the railings, lining, & skylight hatch that provides access to our flat rooftop. A few days into the work, they removed the roof hatch which is over 4'x2', & didn't put the new one in. Instead they covered the hole with a tarp & went home for the night. Shortly after they left, a windy thunderstorm started & torrential rain came down all night. The tarp wasn't properly secured & the weight of the water collected made the tarp detach & all the water came down through our attic, soaking down through the floors, & damaged the ceiling of the bedroom directly underneath the attic. We got estimates to replace the ceiling damaged by water, ranging between $4,200-$6,300. We gave Nina more than 7 opportunities to compensate us for the damage. Nina claimed there was already water damage to the bedroom ceiling before they began work on our roof and refused to pay. And, after we requested compensation for the damages, Nina submitted an additional invoice for $3,200, which we refuted in court. Hence, we filed a lawsuit in Albany in SEP 2024. Two trial dates in FEB 2025 & NOV 2025. We received the final judgment in our favor in JAN 2026 for $4,200 for her company's negligence, 17 months later. We have requested payment from Nina/Klaus and she has NOT paid us as of the date of this review. Her mistakes have cost us 7 times more than the judgement awarded, due to a complete re-do needed of their unfinished work! Our roof is still leaking to this day! These people are super shady for drawing out our lawsuit for nearly 17 months! DO NOT HIRE!
