This is a peaceful, pretty park. There is a lake in the center, surrounded by tall pine trees. It's a very tranquil setting. The bathrooms are clean as well. I took a pleasant walk with my dog earlier today. Be careful, though. People also use the walking trail for their horseback riding. They don't clean up after their horses. Watch your step! read more

I was there last weekend, used condoms on the ground, had no control whatsoever, people had little fires, and the worst, some adolescents were shooting at the wildlife. I don't think fishing was permitted (based on some signs), yet many were doing it. The shooting part is what tipped the glass for me. Many people with kids and dogs were in the park; easily, someone could have been hurt. read more

Beautiful park! So relaxing and just a great place to sit and let nature suck you in. There's a nice, large lake in the middle with a path that runs around it. Goes through trees and forestry and really feels like you're not smack in the middle of a suburb. This place is like a kid's (and grown up kid's) dream! Awesome little nooks and crannies to explore while you're in a relatively safe environment. There are luckily bathrooms and water fountains on the grounds so you're not totally in the wilderness. I loved seeing the wildlife everywhere. Ducks, squirrels, iguanas, turtles, fish, you name it! Despite being by a lake, there were surprisingly no mosquitoes, and it was a pretty warm and humid day too. Definitely coming back multiple times, despite the distance. read more

Tucked away near a residential farm in Davie, also known as horse country, is Wolf Lake Park. It is a park that circles a large lake. It also actually borders a few ranches, so you're bound to see horses or cows. In addition, the nature trails double as equestrian trails, so you may see some riders, or at least, a sign of a horse's prior visit in the form of horse poop and hoof prints in the sand. There are some picnic tables that circle around the lake, and a shelter that can be used for parties, but that is the only shelter. It's a pretty peaceful, quiet park, and people also enjoy coming out to fish. The walking trails are somewhat lengthy for a park, and very pleasant. Throughout most of the way, you are shaded by Australian pine, which also makes for a soft carpeting on the ground. Wildlife such as water fowl, ducks and squirrels can be found. There are a few options for the nature trails, with a longer one extending all around the perimeter of the lake, or a shorter option that bypasses that. It's also popular for families and dog owners, as dogs are allowed. There is an area that borders shallow water along the trail, so you can get your legs wet, and on this particular visit, I also observed a pooch going for a swim there. It would make for a pretty place for kayaking, if you own a kayak. read more

Not sure why my gps wanted me to enter the park through 70th Ave, um, it's not going to happen so just go to 76 Ave. I went early on a Sunday morning. Just a few people there taking pictures and walking their dog. I didn't see any horses but the evidence (poop) is everywhere. Didn't see any cows either. You can walk the perimeter of the lake in 20 min tops so if you want to burn more calories do it twice or more. It's very peaceful and quiet with really nice views of the lake all around. I think I'll bring my dog next time. She'll love it. Free entrance and parking. read more

Really nice dog friendly & scenic park. My friends and I took our dogs here, and we had a blast! If your dog goes crazy over ducks, I would probably try somewhere else. It's a giant lake so there's a ton of them. The trail is nice and you get a lot of shade from the pine trees. There's a nice, big parking lot so there's plenty of parking. Lots of benches to sit at as well. It's obvious the park is well maintained. Definitely recommend this place for a nice stroll with your dog! Bring bug spray! read more

If you are looking for a great place to have a party i recommend Wolf lake Park. Its not a Broward county park so you have to go through the city of Davie but they are quick to respond and easy to work with. Its not that there is only 1 shelter in the park so its very private, the kitchen and restrooms are under the same roof and make hosting very easy. I had my Bridal shower there and it was nice we are going back for a gender reveal. The beautiful scenery is just another added bonus! read more

Definitely one of the better parks in the area. This one is a nice gem tucked away in Davie. Dogs are welcome here and they love the walk. There is a nice sized lake and plenty of fishing going on there as well. I have always love the view as well as the trees and the amount of shade to be found in this beautiful little spot. read more

Great park. Really clean and neat. I love the fact there are 2 large dog areas, and one for medium dogs and one for small dogs. My only problem is that there is one aggressive dog. She was really friendly but she was playing super rough with our dog. "Play" biting and she even tried to "play" biting me and my daughter. The dog even jumped in us trying to escape the park. The park has to be careful and screen the dogs cause some are a little to aggrieved for my taste. read more

I love this large, passive park. It's very peaceful and shaded. With a big pavilion and picnic tables by a large lake (Wolf Lake), for me it's a great spot to have a restful lunch during the weekday. A well maintained, loop trail circles the lake, and is used by walkers, joggers, dog walkers and horses. In fact, you'll always see people with their dogs and horses at this park. Sometimes you'll get to see horses in the lake too. There is no playground at this park. read more

I was there a couple weeks ago and I bring my dogs there I love this place and thought it was great with all the trees shading it but my dog was on the edge and a alligator popped its head out of water so now I'm scared to let them any where near water there . I went to this park today, was hard to find but finally found it. It's a pretty park surrounded by big trees and a lake, you can see ducks/ ducklings as you pass as well as cows grazing. It's only a mile trail I wish it was at least 3, but overall it's a pretty scenic park that you can really enjoy nature while walking it, I'd like to go again! read more

One of our favorite natural scape parks. Allows dogs and horses. However many folks leave dogs off leash some of which will rush up to you and we have even been challenged by one and owner was far away from them. Needless to say, can't enjoy park as much as we used to especially with our LO. read more

Beautiful scenery, but the locals inhabiting the parking lot were the real wildlife. A young couple were enjoying themselves in a corner of the lot. When the park ranger drove by, the young man walked away while pulling up his pants. The couple then proceeded to dump there empty 12-pack of Bud Lime in the trash (didn't even recycle). Another couple of youngsters came in with their pick-ups, confederate flags, and music blaring. Not exactly the peaceful environment we were expecting. read more

Beautiful park but the ranger that takes care of it is extremely rude & unfriendly. Don't pay attention to the hours online, the park closes whenever she feels like driving around with her green lights. Lady locked us in without telling us the park was closing when she saw us just sitting around the lake TALKING. Super rude lady made me & my friends so uncomfortable we never want to return to the park. Also wrongly accused us of smoking & harassed us on our way out when she's the one that wrongly locked us in almost two hours before the closing time stated on their website. Horrible experience! Nice hiking trail good for observing birds and other wildlife. A lot of pine trees surrounding a really nice lake.

A nice short mile walk around the lake. Shaded and great for family and dogs and horses. Very quiet and well kept. Would definitely go back. Horses can also swim in the lake. read more
