She had asked me questions about my pain but you can tell that as she was massaging, she and my body were talking. She took the time to massage and stretch the areas that needed attention. I booked an 80 minute massage and wished I did a longer one. I was pretty sore for a few hours after the massage, and by the time I went to bed I noticed I didn't feel anything. No pain. No throbbing. I wasn't shifting consistently. For the first time - in about seven months...I was able to sleep pain free! I've silently cried about this pain and last night I slept like a queen!! This was first time coming here and although i had an appointment i could tell that the lady who was also my masseuse was nervous by my appearance (heavily tattooed). She told me her price & I reminded her that we spoke on the phone the day before. She then told me that i had to pay first before getting the massage, which to be honest i found odd considering that I've never paid first in any other massage locations. But no big deal other than since i paid with my card o felt obligated to tip without knowing how good or bad my massage would be. I told the masseuse that i required a deep tissue massage due to some shoulder muscle knots and she reassured me she could handle it. Unfortunately she was definitely not strong enough to do a deep tissue massage. Not even standing on me. Ok a few things that they could improve on. The massage table has a cover but unlike most other places the area where your face rests on did not have a disposable gasket / cover. Luckily for me i was the first customer of the day and the table cover was clean. Next each individual room has a mini CD player unfortunately for me the music being played in my room was a Kenny G greatest hits circa 1995. Talk about out dated. Lastly this may seem trivial but i paid for 60 minutes but i didn't get the full 60. My masseuse was the only person working therefore; she had to had to take a call at the front desk and schedule an appointment and she also had to get some hot towels ready to use on me.
