I asked if he can work on my car. He's done my Honda Civic Sir and Accord v6 coupe. Since then I've owned a few more cars and I've been lucky I haven't received any dings. Until now. Fast forward to 2025. I own a 2019 black Rav4 Trail now. All my previous cars were black as well. If anyone is an owner of a black car, they know very well that you can see a lot of imperfections easily and your contact washes have to be very delicate. I am the kinda ocd car guy growing up. Yes, that kinda guy who would wash his car in the rain if a bird landed multiple bombs on the paint. I've kept Chris's number and this man has been consistently busy. He booked me a week in advance after I sent him the photos of the damage. Some international student on an electric scooter was riding careless and nicked/dent my parked car ‍. Chris is a real friendly guy. He's straight up and honest. His quotes are very reasonable. Obviously the prices are not like before. It's been almost 20 years. But what I can say is I rather support a local business than a corporate entity at this point. I didn't want a record of claim on the vehicle. The option of dent repair makes more sense. I basically dropped off my car by 11am and got a call back by 1:50pm. There's no way you can get your car back on the same day with icbc. On the same day before date night, on a Friday afternoon. I was extremely surprised Chris raised the bar and fixed the paint as well. I wasn't expecting the paint to be fixed. The results looked like the damage never happened. I was so impressed with his standards being so high. Amazing craftsmanship. If you can relate with growing up in poverty , you learn about how to take care of things that you own in life. Maintain your property, vehicles, watches, sneakers, suits, anything you appreciate. It's gut wrenching when you're always so careful then all of a sudden you get dinged and it's by others. Very mentally frustrating. When I picked up my car I was so happy. Now keep in mind I haven't washed my car in 2 weeks because of all the rain storms we received. That damaged area looked practically brand new. Chris made it happen. But it wasn't over. If I wanted to really see his craft I needed to do a contact wash. I took the car home. Did a wash. As expected Chris's work is legit as usual. I took pics and videos on different positions for you to view. It's clean work. All I had to do was apply a Si-o2 protection spray for now to match the hydrophobic beading with the ceramic coated car. I was due for an overhaul ceramic renewal this coming summer anyhow. Chris. Ronnie the owner said that the entire headliner would have to be replaced. He said that the plastic frame has to be removed and re-installed with the headliner. He also said that as the sponge that the headliner is glued to has deteriorated. I first thought that I may be able to glue it or be able to pin it back with screw pins as some people on the web had commented. More browsing and by also trying the invisible screw pins, I realized this didn't work. I also realized that even though only the edges had come out the middle was loose as well. I took my Mazda back to Ronnie and he did an amazing job. It looks as good as new now. Ronnie is extremely nice as well. I won't hesitate taking my vehicle to Ronnie again.

Finally, at 6pm on a Friday evening we finally were presented with an inspection report that stated the vehicle had no issues. One month later while at a BMW dealership for a safety recall, a second inspection was conducted and over $2000 of repairs were found. Repairs of items that were NOT NOTED on the pre-purchase inspection report given to us by LP Auto. When we informed Evan the GM of LP Auto he first wanted to get a second opinion on the price of the repairs....but then would only pay a lump sum covering half of the costs stating... 'take it or I walk away' - leaving us to pay the remainder. We were so excited about our new car purchase, but were ultimately left with buyer's remorse. The visit itself seemed fine, and I drove the van back to our warehouse where it sat parked. When I used the van again three weeks later, I immediately noticed a strong burning oil smell. After pulling over and checking under the hood, I found that the engine oil filler cap was missing and oil had been sprayed throughout the engine compartment. I returned to the Richmond shop and spoke with the same technician. I simply asked for a replacement oil cap, expecting a quick and straightforward resolution. Instead, I was met with excuses and blame. I was told the cap might have come off due to pressure, which is not realistic for a threaded oil cap. Then it was suggested that one of my employees may have removed it, which also made no sense given the situation. Finally, I was told I should have noticed the issue sooner. At no point was there an apology. There was no offer to clean the engine, top up the oil, or help source a replacement cap. I ended up leaving and sourcing the part myself after visiting multiple stores. The cap cost about $10, but the issue was never about the cost--it was about accountability and customer service. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, there was no ownership of the mistake and no effort to resolve it. As a result, they've lost not only my personal business but also the maintenance work for our company's small fleet. We're located nearby and could have been long-term customers. Very disappointing experience.

Had excellent service today at Mr. Lube to change out some burnt out lights…read more When I arrived, they immediately asked what service I need. They have 3 lanes, allowing 3 different vehicles to be serviced first come first serve. They checked all my lights and gave me the price before working. They were done within 5 minutes. The location of this Mr. Lube is a bit difficult to reach as you can only get in from one direction and leaving is similar. However service was good and efficient.
