The outcome of this led to my teeth being pulled out forwards, exposing the roots out of the front of my jaw bone, causing them to become so unstable that I was advised to stop all contact sports due to how they were positioned over the years by Dr. Grace Kerr. I was told I would be out of braces by my sophomore year of high school, but I am now 22 still undergoing corrective work elsewhere to fix the issues developed during my treatment at Grace Kerr Orthodontics. This has significantly affected my confidence and no real accountability was ever taken. I'm sure she has moved on from my case, but I still think about her, and am forced to deal with the repercussions of what she did to me every single day. Based on my experience, I do not feel Dr. Grace Kerr can be trusted with anyone's dental care.

Scheduling appointments is always easy, and the staff that I've dealt with in both locations have always been amazing! A few of them even used to be patients of Dr. Ison when they were younger! There's an online patient portal that helps you easily keep track of when and where your next appointment is, as well as keep up-to-date on payments. Dr. Ison really seems to care about his patients and takes special circumstances into consideration when coming up with a treatment plan. He really works with you and doesn't try to intimidate you into a treatment plan you're not 100% comfortable with. As I mentioned in the beginning, I started coming to his offices in October 2016 for Invisalign. I got my first set of trays on November 30, and now on July 6, 2017, I only have a few more tray sets to go before I'm done! I never imagined I could have perfect teeth in less than a year! Attached are two comparison pics. The one of just my teeth shows my teeth with the first tray set in, and my teeth with my 18th tray set in. The other picture shows the difference in my smile and my appearance from the day of my original consultation in October to the 18th tray set I currently have. No pre-teen gets excited about the prospect of having metal in their mouth for years, but Dr. Suffield diffused all my pre-teen angst with his cheery, positive attitude and bright smile. He was kind, caring, and always had funny jokes to tell me as he was tightening my wires--which turned what otherwise would have been an insufferable ordeal into a really pleasant experience. I cannot thank him enough for being such a wonderful orthodontist and friend to me for the 2.5 years it took to straighten my teeth. Being under his care made all of the difference for me: it helped me stay positive about the whole situation, and also helped me adhere to his guidelines and wear my retainers after my braces were taken off. Now, many years later, I'm about to graduate law school and I feel confident inside and out. Appearance isn't everything in life, but having straight teeth surely helps one feel more beautiful.
