This is a pretty typical Korean Cook Your Own Food place. It you don't like the way it's cooked, it's on you . How does one comment on food here? They did have a great variety. Steak, seafood etc. It all looked well prepared. The more premium items ie ribeye, scallops. came in small servings ie 5 scallops at a time. Service was provided by nice teenagers and a robot. The latter was not exactly effective. Too bad as the kids were very busy. Service should be better for what essentially costs $40 pp with out beverages. However, if you know the genre, this is typical Ambiance. It was very clean. It seems to be a former Fridays, Shoneys, which is irrelevant as it was nicely redone. If you like and know the genre, you will not be disappointed with this place. I am not grading them up for what is essentially a DIY dinner. read more

This is a standalone restaurant with a good sized parking lot. We were able to get a table right away and once you are seated then you have 2 hours at your table. The service is quick and efficient. Came here on a cold night and of course everyone had the same idea - the place was packed! We had to wait about 40 minutes for 2 people. Note that the waiting area can be really cold due to the draft from the door, so wear something warm if it's cold out! We opted for the hot pot, which is $35 per person. First you choose the soup base and then order as many ingredients as you want! I had the healthy herbal soup and the wife had the sichuan soup - both were delicious. We tried all the beef and our favorite were the beef belly and the beef tongue. You wouldn't think shumai belong in a hot pot, but that was surprisingly really good. I was surprised they had wild yam as well. I'm not entirely sure why it's called a yam, but it's not your normal yam! It has been used in medicine for centuries and it's slippery like an okra. Oh and the kimchi and cucumbers from the salad bar had great flavors. The crawfish were pretty awesome too. Overall, not the best hot top I've had but pretty decent. Tried this for the first time and I loved it. The waitress was very attentive and helpful and answered questions and let me try two different broths before I picked which one I wanted. It really is all you can eat and they have a bar with the best seaweed salad and fruit along with other things and you can make your own sauce to dip your things in. We did the lunch, which means there were some proteins you could not get for the grill, but we still felt like we got everything we wanted. It was all very good and fresh. Visited Tulsa and had a craving for some KBBQ. Initially, we were going to 100* HotPot but they were closed for vacation. Still had the craving so stumbled upon Won luckily. We went for dinner on Sunday and they were quite busy. The restaurant is big though so I didn't feel the busyness. My husband and I never tried hotpot before but have had our tons of KBBQ experiences across the US. We figured why not this time so we can see if we like it or not. Regular dinner is a set price for AYCE with $5 extra if you do both KBBQ and HotPot. They had a nice buffet area for sides and sauces as well as fruit. The cuts of meat were great! They had everything from beef belly to garlic calamari and tons in between, so definitely lots to choose from. They also have a handful of broths to pick from. We chose tom yum and the Szechuan. Both were good - Szechuan was a bit spicier so don't pick that broth if you're sensitive to spice. We had our little 2 year old with us and ate along with us so there's definitely a lot to offer. At the end of dinner they have little ice creams which was a nice touch. The service was great! We felt like the staff was very attentive. We were seated immediately on a Saturday evening. Our waiter came by and was attentive for the most part. The only downfall of this place is that everything is brought out to you, that includes all meats and veggies. For a party of 5, we put in an order for 4 beef bellies and they brought out what was really one order and we had to keep ordering because it was hard to eat with the meat portioning that they were serving. Their selection of noodles and veggies is okay, lacking a bit but not a deal breaker. The only thing you have access to is sauces and fruits, other than that, everything is brought out by your waiter. Not enough to knock off a star but it's not efficient but the broth was good and tastier than most hotpot's and I enjoyed my time there. Mix up your own chili sauce as spicy as you like. Pick the noodles you want and they bring you a little hot pot of boiling broth to cook your food. Lost around $56 for a dinner, yet came out feeling like I have WON. You know why? Because every penny was worth it at this all-you-can eat Korean BBQ and hot pot. There are not many options for this type of do-it-yourself hot pot and grill in Tulsa. Prior to Won, I only know of 100 C Grill and Hot Pot and Mr. Kim's in downtown (*Mr. Kim only has grill). Won is the newest addition which I am openly welcoming. Won has this robot that goes around to bring food to your table, very reminiscent of another hot pot franchise, HaidiLao. The restaurant is surprisingly quite large, new, and spacious. The environment makes you feel special and that you are dining for a "somewhat" special occasion. For me, the hot pot was better than the grill. There were more items available to choose for your hot pot, both meats and vegetables. The available meats and vegetables for the grill were very limited in comparison. Some of the meats for the grill were marinated but they were kind of either "hits" or "misses." Luckily, you could make your own sauce which I ended up doing for both the hot pot and grill. I also liked the dessert bar which had some fruits, kim chi, and tapioca soup. This was included in the buffet package. Hot pot or BBQ was $31.99, and hot pot and grill was $36.99, average price for this type food. If you have never been to a do-it-yourself hot pot or grill, I would highly recommend to give Won a try. The first time may be intimidating but once you got the hang of things, you will be cooking like a pro. We loved this place. I have only done a hot pot one other time, and the experience was ok. It was not like this one, where here it is clean, modern, and hip. I wanted to make sure I got the full experience so I wanted the extra $5 hot pot experience (added to the lunchtime price of $21.99). There are a variety of hot pot soups for your meats, seafood, and veggies, many choices of what you want in your pot. All I have to say is, it was fun! My friend and I felt the meal was rather healthy, AND delicious! My hot pot was a little on the spicier side (Tom kha), so maybe I'll do some other soup next time. We talked the afternoon away after trying several new twists to put on the grill and in our individual hot pots. The servers were so friendly and on top of things. Well, we joined the hype and tried this on a fairly busy Friday night. We waited about 30 minutes for a table for 4. It is fairly straightforward - all you can eat Korean bbq or Hot Pot. $31.99 for either or $36.99 for both. The menu selection of meats and veggies were fairly standard for these types of restaurants. We have been to a few, including Vegas and New York. The server was very helpful and did a great job - she gets 5 stars on her own. Our robot, "Bella", was fun as Bella delivered our initial order. They use the robots (there are 2) during busy times - per our server. You select various meats and veggies - it's a bit of a do it yourself as you mark a sheet a paper. They limit you to 5 items per person - which makes sense as you have a finite amount of grill space. Remember, you can order more. Meats included short rib, ribeye steak, thin sliced brisket, pork belly, thin sliced lamb, various chicken options, plus some fish. Veggies were abundant from mushrooms, onions, potatoes, garlic, and so much more. Hot pot selections were similar but largely thinly sliced meats meant to cook quickly in your hot soup/broth. Noodles such as ramen and vermicelli were also available - along with many veggies. They have a condiment bar with kimchi, edamame, seaweed salad, and a make your own sauce bar too. (Soy, garlic, chili oil, ponzu, peanut sauce, oyster sauce, scallions, etc ) You cook the food yourself on your grill - tongs and scissors help you handle things. If you've never done this, you should ask for some help on how long to cook certain items, especially chicken. Why 2 stars? Meat, while plentiful, was generally lower quality. The best cuts were short rib and the thin sliced Kobe for hot pot. Pork was super fatty - and I like fatty, but this was too much. It aligns with the concept, but I'd rather pay a bit more for less food and better quality. Again, the selections align with pricing and AYCE concept. Veggies were okay - potatoes and mushrooms were liked by our group. They disclose you will be charged $13.99 a pound for meat you do not finish. You have a 2 hour time limit as well. We were in and out in 1 hour and made a full first order and just 3 items past that. If you're a fan of AYCE with a lower priority on quality, this will be great - it is just not my preference. Very cool all you can eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ restaurant in town! Tulsa really needed one of these! It's a huge restaurant with a lot of seating but there's often a wait, it has been busy since they opened. Upon entering you see a cool platform on the ground with several screens displaying various images. Each table has individual cooking spot for hot pot and a common grill for BBQ at the center of the table. You can pick hot pot, BBQ or both for an extra fee. We did both and felt like it was worth it. You can order up to 10 items at a time. The pork belly were excellent, definitely a must try. The Kobe beef and pork bulgogi were great too. There's a wide selection of seafood as well, the shrimp and shellfish were great. The baby octopus were a little too chewy but since you cook it yourself it may have been left on the grill a bit too long. There is a condiment and sauce bar that's pretty well stocked with various sauces and all the staples of KBBQ including kimchi. It's AYCE but you have a 2h limit and make sure not to order more than you can eat, they do charge you for wasting food, which is totally understandable. Overall pretty good KBBQ for Tulsa, not the best I have ever been but good enough for me to come back! read more

I took the International Tulsa Foodie group to this new restaurant on Friday evening. This was my first visit to a hotpot restaurant and didn't completely know what to expect. We were quickly greeted at the door by the hostess and quickly seated to our table for 8. The table we were seated had two bbq grills and a hotpot warmer for each person seated. The waiter explained to us we would have two hour limit to enjoy our meal and that any food waste left over would be weighed and charged an extra $13.99lb. Probably not the most exciting way to be introduced to a new restaurant. The waiter did a good job giving us an explanation of the menu and how it worked with the hotpot and Korean BBQ. If we wanted to add the BBQ portion it would be an extra $5 person. We then set out to ordering drinks. I ended up with a Mai Tai which wasn't bad, but prob didn't have much alcohol in it. A few others at our table order drinks as well and didn't hear any objections to what they had ordered. For the meal we went down a checklist of items we wanted for our hotpot's and our bbq. A short time later they brought us our vegetables and raw meats we would need for the evening. We also visited the salad bar and sauce bar which had a nice selection of kimchi items, spices and sauces to compliment our meal. We figure smaller parties are easier to manage but since they brought out all our meats for both hotpot and bbq portion all at once it was hard to tell what was what. The other thing we ran into was how easy it would be to cross contaminate raw foods on clean plates or clean plates with raw food. I think the staff should help plan accordingly a little better for large parties. We could see how easy it could be to get that wrong and end up next day miserable. Overall the food quality was good, meat choices were not too bad. We had a great time but after thinking through it, it would probably be a better meal with less is more approach. The price of the meal was around $31.99 a person and with Korean BBQ add on it was $36.99 a person. We would definitely go back, but prob as smaller party...but would we go back often...probably not when the price is so steep. We tried most of the meat selection, and they were all good. The short ribs (kalbi) was too sweet for me. It's about time Tulsa gets a KBBQ! The restaurant is located in the OLD Ryan's buffet building but has been renovated and looks very clean and upscale with some neon lights that are found in a lot of kbbq places I've been to in other states! All the staff were friendly and helpful! The owner even stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal! We ordered all sorts of meats and all were delicious! For fish, I tried the spicy tuna but it had no taste at all. The won pork belly and won short rib were my favorite! I love enoki mushrooms so I got two orders of that and practically ate them in two bites! I wish I took a pic of the sauce station and banchan station but I didn't. They have great selections of both! We only did the grill tonight. But you have the option of doing grill and hot pot or just grill. Next to the entrance on the wall there are specific rules such as no more than 2hrs and you cannot take leftovers home. They charge you for any leftovers you have so eat wisely and make sure your eyes aren't bigger then your stomach! They bring out your meats extremely fast and clear any empty dishes just as fast so your table isn't filling up with dishes! I will def be back soon!
