It's only been open for a couple of weeks, and my SIL was in town and wanted to go. When you enter you go up a few stairs to the register where you order and pay for your meal, then get a table and put your number up for them to see when they bring your meal. It's clean and bright with straight lines everywhere except the bar itself, which has some modest curves. I've never seen more people journaling in a restaurant before. I got the Kitsune Udon ($13 - hot awase broth, sanuki udon, poached shrimp, chrysanthemum greens, togarashi, scallions). The noodles were perfectly cooked, and I was a bit surprised by the chrysanthemum greens, which had a more subtle flavor, not strong. The broth was simple and understated, not deep and rich like ramen broths I've had before, but still very good. The kitchen is wide open so you can see them working, and I talked briefly to one of the chefs who told me they imported their noodles (not hand made), and to check out the breakfast and dinner menus too. I will deffo go back and try other dishes in the future while they continue to work out the post-opening kinks.

Natsukashii is a spot I'd come back to without overthinking it. We ordered a spread and there were some real standouts. The Saba Shioyaki was probably my favorite. Super clean, not fishy at all, and just cooked right. If you've had bad mackerel before, this will change your mind. Gyoza were legit. Nothing fancy, just exactly what you want them to be. The crispy rice salad surprised me in a good way. A lot of texture, a lot of flavor, and somehow it all works together. Quick heads up, the Salmon & Griddled Lemon Temakizushi is listed under sashimi, but it's actually a handroll. Threw me off for a second, but it was still really good so no complaints. Cocktails were on point, and the service made the whole thing easy. Food came out at a good pace, no weird gaps, no hovering. Overall, just a really solid dinner. Not trying too hard, just good food done right. I'll be back.

This is a Cysco truck. Guaranteeing their meat and produce are not fresh.

It's far too loud. It's not set up to operate very smoothly. The food is extremely sub par and overpriced. It might be okay if you've never had Japanese food before. It's also Cysco slop. You can see the truck every Monday. So guaranteed not fresh. Not a single Japanese person has a hand in this abhorrence. Go literally anywhere else. There is also nowhere to park. Very bad location.

Service was phenomenal and food was amazing. Every price was seasoned to perfection. 10/10 will definitely return for the dinner menu.

Desserts. Sorry I ate my meal before I thought of getting a picture.

Food is amazing. Went at lunch was busy but we got in 10ish min. Ordered food and appetizers and desserts. Let me tell you the pickles on the side of the pork bowl are seriously what I want as my last meal. Food was great atmosphere is wonderful. I wish I took pics of our lunch but I ate it before I realized I did not take a pic.

For the entrée, I had originally planned to try both the saba shioyaki and the udon, but the saba was sold out, so I went with the kitsune udon.

We started with the gyoza, which were perfectly seared and served with a lightly sweetened sauce. The filling was perfect. For the main course, I ordered the tuna kawa roll, which was incredibly fresh. I particularly enjoyed the mango inside - a wonderful twist and very complimentary to the tuna and avocado. It's obvious they prioritize high-quality cuts of fish and want to feature that instead of wrapping a little bit of sushi ingredients into large chunks of rice. My husband ordered the yaki soba. I got one bite, and it was delicious. I forgot to share part of my sushi and before we knew it, we had eaten everything. The most difficult part of the evening was deciding on what we wanted to order, so we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I wanted to get a good sampling of what the restaurant had to offer so I got the spicy miso ramen with the grilled chicken and then sampled the sushi by getting an order of salmon sashimi. Both dishes were very good and there was much more grilled chicken with the ramen than I was expecting, so that was a nice surprise! The prices were reasonable as well. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and would certainly come back. 4/5
