Rock hard, old Cream cheese wontons. Legit could break your teeth.
    Ashley H.

Food was awful! I made the mistake on Door Dash and chose this Chinese restaurant instead of the one I normally eat from and it was a BIG mistake. Just to outline the garbage food they sent me and how they handle customer service//request: 1) My beef entree was almost all onion with a few slivers of beef here and there. Also, the onions were soggy and burnt. 2) The cream cheese wontons were rock solid and burnt. You could break a bone with one of them. 3) my last hope was the egg roll and it was burnt and old on one side and soggy on the next. 4) Portion VS PRICE is pathetic 5) My door dash drive was kind to make sure that I had the extra duck sauce and the man told him he could not give me anymore. AWFUL customer service. I got 4 packets of random sauces and 2 duck sauce. 6) Last, their cheap plastic container and sloppiness cause the food to leak. The ONLY positive thing about my heart experience with this place is my Door Dash Driver Ben who was a rock star so much that I left him an extra $10 under the door mat. Don't waste your money on this place.

    Egg Drop Soup

Our son noticed this tiny restaurant across the street from Sam's Club as we sat at a stop light and since shopping always makes us hungry we decided to give The Rice Bowl a try. It was around 1pm in the afternoon and the place was empty but the young woman that greeted us was really sweet so we let her seat us and the three of us ordered our drinks. There's little tables throughout and seems like it would be nice for a couples lunch date. She quickly returned with menus in hand and offered us some appetizers as starters. We decided on pan fried pot stickers and tempura shrimp. Both appetizers were served hot and delicious!! Although each of us enjoyed both appetizers, my son and I favored the tempura shrimp while my husband's was the pot stickers. They have an inexpensive lunch menu that was perfect for us to choose from so we each ordered something different. I included egg drop soup with my lunch since I absolutely love it...Yummy yummy!! Everything was cooked well and came out steaming hot. We had no complaints and thought it was really nice that free refills were offered even to go when we were leaving. I'll definitely be looking forward to another visit after shopping again

Singapore noodles, fried rice, orange chicken, general tso chicken

Came for lunch with my kid and tried a few different things in the menu. 2 combo plate with orange chicken and general Tso chicken, egg roll and fried rice, Singapore noodles, flying dragon roll and the screaming roll. Everything was delicious, the best I've had in a while, came out promptly and the service was decent. The man answering the phones and waiting on our table was polite and efficient.

    Beef with Broccoli Combo

Wife ordered the beef and broccoli and I dropped it off at work with her, she called me and said she found a bug in her food. I called the place back letting them know, and I was told I had to bring the food back to the restaurant to receive a refund. I would have, but it's a 30 to 40-min drive back to the restaurant. So we decided to eat the charge and we will not be going back.

i'm not a fan of leaving poor reviews of small local businesses so i'll leave a 5 star rating with some small opinions. the place is clean and they follow covid rules which is awesome but the rice was very dry, the sushi was also very dry. the Szechuan beef had very little beef in the 4 combo box. the orange chicken was delicious and so was the egg roll. the money you pay for the amount you get is definitely a good deal. i will definitely be back!!!!!

Here are then terms for the fine print.

This restaurant has Groupons in the fine print it clearly states the terms. When calling in the workers argue with you about which food you can order when youreateyijf within the parameters of the fine print. The lady also implied that i was someone who had called earlier when i have Never called in before today! I've also used this Groupon in person and order exactly what i wanted with no issue. Stay away from this place and the poor customer service.

The reviews I saw were all horrible... so why did I try this place? Because I'm a weirdo and for some odd reason (we had a free menu in our door and were too lazy to find another place) we decided to give it a shot. Having the worst expectations, we were actually pleasantly surprised. BUT I do believe that if I wasn't expecting anything I would have thought it was still pretty good. We got the Kung Pow Shrimp and Hunan Chicken. Both were good, both had flavor, and both had enough shrimp and chicken. Sure, it isn't incredible... but it's also 4-6$. They also added egg rolls, which were pretty good as well. The guy on the phone talks very quietly... so be sure to know exactly what you want and make sure to listen carefully :)

Coming from California, where there are an abundance of quality Chinese cuisine establishments, we were about to give up. We found this place and decided to give it a shot. First, the ambiance is delightful, very clean and ample seating. There is an outside dining area, which would be marvelous to try if it wasn't so bloody hot outside. Anyway, the menu is pretty extensive. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, steamed buns with pork belly, beef fried rice, house special lo mein, dumplings, and egg rolls. The dumplings were on the small side, but some of the most flavorful ones we have had. The egg rolls were not a disappointment either. The chicken was good, but not very Kung Pao, more Kung Mild. The beef fried rice was thoroughly cooked and tasty. The house special lo mein noodles were excellent. My favorite was the steamed buns with pork belly. They was plenty of delicious pork belly and the steamed buns made it even better. They do charge entree prices for sides, which is a little absurd and should be addressed. They serve Pepsi products. We will definitely be back as this is top tier Chinese food for Oklahoma.

The food was overpriced. There are so many great Asian food places in Tulsa and I would not get dumplings here again. My friend wanted the flat beef noodle spicy but it just seemed like they put a bunch of chilies in it instead of adding flavor. It was not her favorite and mine was good because it had no heat. But it is better at a lot of other places around Tulsa.

*** Review is during COVID-19 ***…read more Was craving some Chinese food recently and Yelp led me to China 8... and I'm glad it did! I knew I wanted something that felt like a classic night of Chinese takeout but a little more of a local spot and not TOO cookie cutter either. It turns out this was the right place for that - it felt like the best of both worlds! Staff person at front counter was wearing a face shield and they had moved the tables completely out of the way so I think they are not doing dine-in right now. We ordered two soups to share - the egg drop and the hot and sour. I've never really liked hot and sour soup but I gave it a try anyway. I still didn't love it but others said it was good haha. The egg drop soup was good, but I do feel like it was a little lacking in flavor. I know egg drop soup is pretty simple on purpose but I still felt like it could have used one more spice or ingredient. I liked that it came with wonton strips, which were good. The soup we ordered was fine, but it luckily didn't match the rest of the food, which on the other hand seemed much better than just "fine". For my main meal I had the kung pao chicken. To me, it wasn't spicy, but thee sauce was so good that I didn't really mind - which is kind of rare since I almost always want spicy food! The sauce was super sweet and full of flavor. I hadn't tasted something like it when I've had that dish before, and I thought that was really cool. They gave a good amount of chicken too! I substituted the rice for lomein because I was really in the mood for noodles. It was a great choice - they were super yummy as well! I'm not sure they are or not, but the noodles almost seemed homemade, like you could taste the flouriness of them... in a good way. Everyone agreed the lomein was really good. Maybe the best I've had! The portion size was really good, especially for the price - win win!! They have a small and large size for pretty much everything and we got the large for entrees and the soup as well. One other thing I specifically noticed in general was that everything tasted like a distinct dish instead of everything kind of tasting the same, like I feel is sometimes the case at similar places. Don't let the unassuming outside fool you! It may seem like your average Chinese spot but I really felt like it was so much less generic, while also not straying far from what you expect at all either. Definitely want to go back!
