Wonder is such a novel concept, being able to order from multiple restaurants in one place is incredibly convenient, especially for groups. We've been looking to try out Wonder for a while now since it opened in town. I'm happy to say we had a good first experience. It's clearly a ghost kitchen (not really a food hall as they claim), but it's surprisingly good food. We got Mexican bowls with chicken, rice, beans, veggies and other fixins from Limesalt, which were actually pretty good. Maybe a step up from Chipotle, but at a similar price. They also have Magnolia banana pudding, which is a favorite. The pick up process was easy enough after we ordered on the app. It did take a little longer than it should have though. I was interested to check this new food hall concept. They have 12 different restaurant offerings in one location. You can order for pick up or delivery. There are about 3 small tables where you can dine in if you are picking up your order. They also have a few kiosks that you can place your order in store, otherwise you can order on the app. We ordered a cheesesteak from Fred's Meat & Bread and a brisket sandwich and onion rings from Tejas BBQ. We ordered for pick up, the food was ready before scheduled. The only downside it was already cool when we arrived. The quality and flavor of the food was great. They packed the orders with care and each item came in it's corresponding restaurant packaging. We ate inside. The customer service was awesome. They welcomed each customer that arrived and helped them find their orders. I'd definitely go again to try different restaurants. There are too many options to just go once. Finally checked out Wonder. It's a pretty cool concept basically a giant ghost kitchen where you can order from many restaurants in one spot. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger from burger baby, Mark Murphy's onion rings with horseradish remoulade. My fiancé got cheesy garlic bread from Detroit brick pizza co, corn bread from Marcus Samuelson spot an a Di Fara cheese pizza. We waited like 10-15 and chose to sit in and eat. My burger was just ok. I will say bun and toppings were nice and fresh but the patty itself was so thin. Onion rings were pretty good but expected more punch from the sauce they were served with. My fiance loved his cheesy garlic bread, said the cornbread was ok but the Di Fara pizza was awful. You could go to ShopRite and buy the same frozen pizza. I think your best bet at this place is salads etc as that stuff can't be frozen. Cool concept but just not for us. read more

Much better experience than my last one! Decided to try out others restaurants and the food was pretty good. My husband got a spicy chicken sandwich deluxe combo which he said tasted better than he expected. Fries were hot, crispy and perfectly salted. The chicken sandwich was a good size and flavorful. I got 6pc hot honey wings combo w/ celery and carrot sticks and those were pretty good too. Great portion. I liked the variety of drink options you can choose from to go with your meal. It's not a food hall. It's little more than room with a few machines showing what's available and that is far more limited than might be expected. My limited experience was ho-him food that would have been better directly from a restaurant specializing in same. Ordered dinner last night for my husband and myself. Disappointed again!! Ordered from the Thai restaurant and the Mexican restaurant. Chicken drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice with shrimp plus a burrito. I've had better Thai food from a food vendor in New Haven, and my husband said the burrito was dry and just full of rice. I'm sure that the original chefs of these restaurants would be extremely upset if they saw the quality of the food Wonder is offering under their reputable names. There are much better Thai restaurants as well as Mexican restaurants within a a mile of Wonder in Fairfield. If Wonder doesn't improve don't the quality of their food soon, they won't be around much longer. Great concept but the food is so mid. Tried it 2 times now one delivery and today we dined in. The illusion that these are all different restaurants is just sketchy. It's all one kitchen with 3 cooks. Food is obviously premade/frozen. Burgers are bad, wings mid, fried bad. Both times over ordered our orders have been wrong so I am not sure what is the benefit here. The food is not quick, it's not good, it's not cheap, it's not consistent. After receiving yet another 50% off coupon in the mail, we ordered a Brooklyn style pizza and some sesame chicken and spicy green beans from a Chinese place; I'd have to look at the website to find the restaurant names. Your order waits on an open shelf on your left as you walk in the door, so you don't (have to) deal with real people. Here's a red flag: At your local pizzeria, the box waits on top of the oven, not on open shelving in the middle of an air conditioned room. The pizza was warm, not hot, when we got home...and it wasn't that good. I wouldn't order it again. The sesame chicken wasn't the best, and the green beans weren't anything to rave about, either. Ordered online using the app. First available time for pick-up was 2 hours but this was before opening day with a discount so I assume they were very busy. For a small fee I could have jumped to front of the line. Food was ready at 6:40 for the 6:30-7:00 pick-up window I was given. Quick and easy pick-up; on a shelf alphabetically like Panera. A few hits and a few misses but that could very well be our taste preference. Everything was super fresh. Guacamole, while not what I would consider traditional was delicious. Red salsa too spicy for our taste. Queso had lots of poblanos but was lacking in flavor somewhat. I had a beet salad that was good and hubby had steak tacos which were also good but he'd skip the mushy fajita veggies next time. Michael Symon's hummus was a tad bitter.
