It has been years since I last went here. I went back recently with a friend and was overwhelmed. They have 3 floors for seating. But it is crazy packed, you have to hunt down a seat and good luck if you are with someone. But the prices are fair and the varieties of different food was amazing. This is a small food hall that is easy to miss if you blink when you walk by. The place is narrow but fairly deep. Most of the shops are on the ground level, along with some seating. There's more seating on the 2nd floor, plus a press on nail place. Walk up one more set of stairs to the 3rd floor for more seating, plus restrooms and one more restaurant counter (a chicken place). I do not know how the place on the 3rd floor stays in business. I didn't notice signs on the ground level letting everyone know it's up there. It's definitely better to have a spot on the ground level where there's more foot traffic. Seems like a lot of people know about this food hall. It is fairly crowded. Many of the restaurants looked interesting, so we made 2 rounds to look at all the offerings before deciding what to get. We picked up Shrimp Udon from the Seoul New York (located way at the back; they offer a discount for paying by cash), and also a Potato Korean Hot Dog from Sweet Churros (located at the front as the first restaurant on the right side after walking through the front door). Both were good. I love food halls because everyone in your group can find something different to eat. And it's a plus when there's seating and restrooms available. This one is a hidden gem in Koreatown. Great dining spot for a casual or quick meal. The prices are reasonable compared to some of the "sit down" restaurants in the neighborhood. read more

Lots of seating and lots of different stalls to order food from. Great spot for a quick grab to eat. I got a galbi soup combo from a stall on the first floor in the back left corner. It came with some simple ban chan which didn't wow me but did the job. The galbi was tasty, I def had better elsewhere but it was still delicious and satisfied my craving. The Taiyaki place has a 7 dollar minimum for credit card payments, but their selection of options is pretty wide, from Nutella to standard Red Bean. As for the Taiyaki itself, it was good! The matcha flavor was there, although it got a bit overwhelmed by the hot nutella. I think it's a bit on the expensive end for it's size, but other than that, it's good! read more

This is my second time visiting Food Gallery 32. If you're looking for a dining experience where you could converse, it may be a little difficult due to it being loud with convo and music. I found myself eating only and not talking much. When ordering, you're given buzzers except for when you go to Kung Fu Tea. I've had the Sesame Chicken at Seoul before and that was pretty good. The wait time for food isn't that long, before you know it, it'll be buzzing. This time around, I ordered a Signature Jian Bing w/House Sauce and BBQ Beef at Jian Bing Man. I'd say that it was alright, more on the dry side and although I did like the crunch, I'm not sure if I enjoyed it much. The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, as well as the Chicken Katsu w/California Rolls is what I ordered at Roll n' Katsu. The Chicken Teriyaki was crispy and had a great flavor. It went well with the rice n veggies. The Miso Soup along with it was alright. The Chicken Katsu came with a sauce on top which I wasn't familiar with but it was okay. The chicken was incredibly crispy so that was good. The California rolls were also yummy. I got a Strawberry Matcha Cream w/Boba Tapioca and it was way too sweet. I'm not sure if the boba had additional sugar to it or if the cream was what brought all that sugar. I would just keep in mind that the drink is incredibly sweet so if you aren't fond of that, ask for a change in the sugar. Food Gallery 32 is K-Town's main food court with a wide variety of Asian options. I came for the Korean black bean noodles and spicy seafood soup combo. The meal was just okay, but the portion size was generous and came with a small side of pickled daikon. The biggest downside was the bathroom situation--it's all the way on the 3rd floor with long lines, so I ended up using the restroom at Macy's nearby. Overall, it's a convenient spot if you're craving variety of korean food, but don't expect anything fancy. read more

Food Gallery 32 was on my list of places to check out. Today finding myself in K Town and on 32nd Street I came here for lunch. There are three floors here but I managed to only see the ground floor. Eateries were chock a block full with all kinds of foods - noodles, udon, barbecue meats - it was mind boggling to me. I saw many food items that looked tasty and the prices ran high. I settled for shrimp tempura (3 pieces) and pork dumplings. Seating is limited to high tables with stools. Luckily I managed to get one. The Philippine family in front of me enjoying a large bowl of silky noodles and meat admired my tempura. I plan to return to not only see other two floors but to eat a more substantial dish without breaking the bank. read more

This place is an exciting food hall tucked away in Koreatown. It's easy to miss but I highly recommend coming by, however, it does get a little hectic around lunchtime. There are many different options here but on my first stop, I decided to grab a bite to eat at The Gochujang, a stall that offers Korean School Food. The staff here was helpful and my food was ready within 10 minutes. I tried the So Tteok So Tteok, which were Vienna sausages cooked in sauce, sandwiched between chewy rice cakes on small kebab sticks. It was nice to try but not something I'd order again as I don't love Vienna sausages. There is a seating area upstairs and some tables on the main floor as well. I'd recommend coming during an off hour if you're not familiar with Korean cuisine, so you have a little bit less people packed inside and aren't as overwhelmed while ordering and waiting. read more

The Food Gallery 32 in Koreatown offers an impressive array of options. Many people may be led to believe one only eats upstairs where there are more tables and chairs. However, there are some other places, most notably a Korean fried chicken spot up there. So have a look upstairs to see what is on offer. The quality of what is offered in the food court varies as expected. Thankfully, nothing has been truly awful. They keep the place pretty clean, considering the foot traffic. Nothing is outrageously priced either. Generally, you will receive a good amount of food for the money. You can easily eat for around twenty bucks, plus or minus a few. If you eat at the Gallery , you are expected to know there is a place to deposit your trash and trays on the left side one third of the way into the Gallery. Many places downstairs will issue you a pager of varying type that will light up and or vibrate when your order is up. This permits you to order at multiple locations and return when your order is prepared. There is no way for them to yell and call out your name for most of the vendors when there are so many people and a lot of ambient noise. It gets busy in the gallery. The great thing about the Gallery is the range of choices, so a family or a group of friends could enjoy what they want as individuals while eating together, provided they can sit together, the latter being the greatest challenge here. Seating is an issue. You'll have to be aggressive, but cordial when it comes to finding and acquiring seating and sharing your space with others. Try upstairs to get a seat. I have not seen an elevator, so the upstairs portion may not be wheelchair accessible. If the elevator is there, someone please comment and let me know where the elevator is located. The Gallery 32 is a challenge to evaluate, given the variety of food and quality; however, you should not come away with an experience less than three stars. Overall, I give it 3.2 stars. read more

My mom actually found this Korean food court spot. So, we had to check it out. There were food stalls mainly on the first floor, and a Korean fried chicken stall on the third floor. There's also seating available on all three floors. The vibe was lively and bustling with people. We perused all the food stalls and settled on ordering their Korean fried chicken, army stew, and bulgogi bibimbap. Each stall provided us with a beeper to let us know when our food was ready for pickup. So, we used that time to find seating. We picked up our food and it was delicious. I loved that I could eat all of these foods under one roof. The army stew was spicy and comforting. I loved the sesame oil and furikake throughout my bibimbap, as well as all the textures from the runny fried egg, carrots, nori, cucumbers, cabbage, and rice. The KFC was crispy and relatively juicy. It could've used more seasoning to it. But, it was pretty good. I've had better KFC in Seoul and in Taipei, but the KFC here still hit the spot. The pickled daikon was delicious and necessary to cut the richness of the KFC. Overall, we'd definitely come back to this spot to try out their other food court stalls. It's intimidating when you first walk in because there's so much going on and so many choices and menus everywhere, but if you take your time and look around you can find something for just about anyone! Ordering is super confusing and I almost walked out because of that. None of the staff is jumping to help with anything, but they'll give you somewhat helpful answers if you ask. I ended up getting two different Korean hot dogs, both of which were great! Each had such an amazing crunch and they were delectably salty. I highly recommend the one rolled in Hot Cheetos though. I passed by korea town and walked in the food gallery 32 food court it was very different and pretty diverse. Colorful and I loved the decorations. Me and my partner decided to try pelicana chicken on the third floor the seating is very cool and the customer service is so alright lol I liked the platter and the chicken but I wasn't a big fan of the chicken sandwich it didn't taste flavorful to me but overall everything was good , FRIES A1. Wanted to grab a quick bite from somewhere, so we thought it would be best to go to the food gallery in Koreatown. It wasn't too crowded during lunch when we went and we were in awe of the selections available from each vendor. I ordered the mala xiang guo from one of the places and it wasn't that great. It didn't taste like anything and I expected there to be more flavor. It also took a while for the food to come out, which made me think the service was lower than average. However, we also got the kimchi jjigae and it came out really fast (and piping hot). It was distinct in taste and very delicious. It had an authentic taste to it that reminded us of home. I have been here quite a few times in the last years, because of their churros and taiyaki. Finally last night I went upstairs and had fried chicken. Drumsticks!! They were so great. Korean fried chicken is really something else. The ambiance is cute, the ground floor is very full of vendors but upstairs it's more empty and they play music constantly. But alas, here I was with my sister since I wanted to check out NY's K-Town and we were on the hunt for a quick Korean bite! SO many good food options at Food Gallery 32. It's a very popular spot in Koreatown, due to location. Three floors of options to choose from (but the main first floor is where you'll find most of the food). The food variety includes Korean and Chinese. Lots of casual dining options (don't expect white table cloth). Basically, you order at the counter of the establishment of your choosing, you get a boozer alert to take and when your food is ready to go and grab it. It's almost like food court cafeteria style. More options for desserts and boba on second floor. Restrooms on the third floor. More seating on the third floor. I was lucky enough to order Tuna Kimbap from GOCHUJANG and it was SUPERB! The best tuna kimbap I've ever had. They also had other options for snacks and meals there as well fish soup, ddukbboki, tempura, sausages and more. I also ordered from Mama on the first floor. I got the red bean taiyakis and mini custards. DELICIOUS and so perfect for a light sweet treat after my kimbap! Highly recommend and would come back here again.
