I really love this place. I have been multiple times over the past 2 years and I always have a great experience. I never feel like they are rushing and my massage is always wonderful. Played volleyball for 4 hrs the night before going in for a foot massage. Price is very reasonable. I think the masseuses name was Jimmy. Nice young man, I think he is Chinese. No language barriers. When he pressed too hard, I said so, and when not hard enough on other parts of my feet I said more pressure please and he obliged. Did the yelp check-in offer, however, was advised that they no longer offered it and that they had new pricing. Which ok, fine. Maybe because covid. Purchased the hour massage and foot detox. They took me right back. Janky experience for sure. Would not recommend. Maybe had i not done the detox i would have been more comfortable while getting massaged, so maybe do not add the detox if you do decide to go. Time for the "hour" was taken to do the detox (prep/disposal) which was a $20 add on. The phone also rang during my visit which my person stopped to answer. I had purchased a a 29.99 groupon for 1 hour of FOOT reflexology session with milk soak (original price noted 60.00). I even had a girlfriend purchase one as well so we could make it a girls day. She booked the appointment for us both..However was unsure if we even had the appointments in their book because the lack of English the staff spoke. Upon my arrival I was very upset seeing a sign that said 19.99 for 1 hour fot reflexology street side, then another sign at the entrance of the door for the same 1 hour foot reflexology for 29.99. WHAT IS THE CORRECT PRICE?? 60.00,29.99 or 19.99. My thought was how did I save any money purchasing via groupon? Once I entered I checked in for the both of us. There was also a walk in they were trying to make room for and I asked we 1 of us would come back later. I refused that as we had appointments. I looked around and felt very uncomfortable from the beginning. Looked like a "happy ending underground store" The location isn't in the best lactation, it is in a a strip mall that is mostly empty. In side the shop are many beds and are in one room with no separators.....Then again I was wondering why they have beds if this a foot place? I was thankful I had a friend with me. The only thing that was cool as noted from another yelper was the twinkle lights. My purchase was for an 1 hour of FOOT reflexology session milk soak however the bucket I was asked to place my feet in was just that water. Not even warm water, kinda of cold that give me a chills. She then placed "hot packs" under my back and neck. However they again were not even warm. The lady working on my placed a wash-cloth over my eyes and started rubbing my head and ears.... I could only wonder if I mis-read the groupon. I am here so let her continue maybe she is just trying to relax me. The lady worked on my head, arms and shoulder for over 35 mins. She then gave a funny yet uncomfortable upper leg/inner thigh rub and cupping working her way to my feet and maybe spending 5 minutes per foot. The lady has long hair that was tickling me and felt gross.. You would think she would pull it back. Meanwhile the other lady working on my friend had left to take a few calls and work the front desk. There was construction in the parking lot and the nose was loud. Not to say the conventions between the employees working on us was any better. Once we were done I really dint feel any more relaxed before I went in there. I was just happy to be done. I also felt as another yelper stated "All in all I feel like it was an S&M version if the client list" Exiting the place we were given a 2 oz cup of water and offered to purchase a 50.00 gift certificate. She was pushing we each pay 25.00 and use together for 29.99. A few hours later that day my body was so sore. I myself will not be going back. I have had a spasm on my left shoulder for two days. I couldn't get in for a massage today and my normal reflexology place is closed on Sunday so I decided to try the Wonder Foot Spa at Cooper and Warner. They are running a so-called special for $29 (the normal price where I typically go) for 1 hour of reflexology and massage. The reflexology way the worst I have had, she didn't even hit key pressure points on my hands or feet. The massage was worse. She just lightly rubbed, I asked her to push harder and for more pressure but she didn't speak English. When i rolled over on to my stomach, she lifted my feet on to a pillow with a cold wet towel on it., When she was done I went to pay and her manager proceeded to tell me the minimum tip was $10 or 30%. For the record, I have been to many different places that do reflexology and not being able to speak English is not unusual, but they normally understand harder or more pressure. A hidden gem in my opinion. They offer one of the best deals in the valley for a really great head to toe massage for 90 minutes. I've been here several times now and the staff is always very accommodating. It helps to call ahead to give them a heads up that you're coming but appointments are not usually needed. Oh my god, this was the worst business experience I've had in a long time. I should have known better when no one there can read or speak English, barely. It's just a very crappy massage place, except you get no choice in what they do. There are no private rooms and clothes are left on, the massage is also done through a towel. I have a feeling the girls aren't good enough to work in a jack shack, because they are so rude, only after as many American dollars they can get out of us. I purchased a 2 hour reflexology groupon. The location isn't great, all the beds are in one room with no separators. The only good thing is I was the only one there. The twinkle lights, lockers are interesting. This was the most uncomfortable message I have ever had. They have you lay flat and put your greet in a bucket - not comfortable on the back. They put hot packs under the back and next / the neck one was so hot it felt like it was burning me. The person giving the massage was dressed like a street walker and had very long hair which touched me as she moved. The reflexology part of the event was weak. There was a very strange scalp massage and then the rest of me, it felt like she was punching me, and she must have because I have some bruises today. I wish there was a minus star. This place is around the corner from my house. I got over the fact that the 29 dollar Groupon I got with my mom and sisters is there price all the time. Took my mom there the 1st time and along with no on that can speak English they were sewing curtain barriers right there in the front. I looked that over as well. I am by no means high maintenance. There was no milk soak for my feet, they got put in a scalding hot tub of water. I was surprised that it was a full body massage and only about ten minutes is spent on the feet. But in let that slide as well the massage was ok. Then came to me for us to leave and they made sure the one English word they kept repeating was you need to tip. Which I was going to do anyways. We let all that go and figured for the price and convenience of location we would go again. This time all the same happened with not as good a massage and after tipping each girl a 5 they were hounding us for more money. My mom got so uncomfortable she was whispering to me to just give them more. I was so incensed by their actions I refused to give them any more then I had. PROS: - nice staff - enjoyable massage (note: there are different ladies who do different massages, who offer different experiences) - twinkling lights and relaxing music - lockers GIVE OR TAKE: - burning incense - Groupon is for a full body reflexology massage, not just for feet - room was slightly cool for my taste, but was around 75 degrees - they will massage your buttocks (I personally enjoyed it, although it was unexpected. If you don't feel comfortable with that, I would suggest letting them know ahead of time) CONS: - staff doesn't speak English well - very distracting enviornment (next door to a martial arts studio and can hear them practicing, ladies going back and forth within rooms with flip flops, can hear them doing laundry) - "foot soak" is just a basket of warm water - no separators/rooms between customers - no place to change privately SIDE NOTE: - The lady who gave me the massage didn't wear her hair up so it would touch against my feet sometimes. Not a big deal for me, I was more worried for her. Also, every now and then, my arm would graze against her chest. Still not a big deal for me, just heads up for you prudes. - She spent about 20 minutes on my feet Next time I'm looking for a massage, I might stop by if I'm in the area.
