I went to Nails for manicure and a pedicure. The owner.(?) did my pedicure, wasn't even 15 minutes. I was charged an extra five dollars for salt scrub? Never have I paid for that extra before anywhere else I've gone. Pretty much you might say that my feet got washed and toes painted there was no cleanup of my nails there was nothing! Terrible terrible! Within a couple of days, the polish started chipping, and there was never any type of shine to the polish or anything. Then went for my dip Nails, informed them that hair color stains the gel coats that they put on, so please use the regular dip coat so it does not stain my nails as I had a very light color put on. Well, within 4 to 5 days, the nailbed edges of the dip were sharp and chipping off and stained! I had my nails done there because it was more convenient than where I had been going, but, I'll never go back read more

This is My 5th time going here. The lady that does my pedicure is very sweet and always does great. The ladies that do the manicure, Are very rude and unprofessional. Yesterday I went to take off my acrylics and do a regular manicure. There was no customers, And the lady did not soak my nails. She pulled out my acrylics, which is so bad for your nails. I was in the chair hurting the whole time and every time I would pull my nail away, she would talk to her coworkers in a different language about me. I always tip good because I'm a people pleaser, but it's just really rude the way they act and talk about you like you're not paying for the service. After tip I paid 52 dollars for a regular solid manicure and today my nails are already chipping away. My favorite nail salon by far. I have gotten my nails done my entire life by so many different people in so many different places, but this salon tops them all. I personally have gone here for about 5 years since I was a student up the road at UNE. I always get a regular mani/pedi, and they do a fantastic job. I live in Portland now, but I still make the drive down to Biddeford to get my nails done here. It's THAT good. Everyone in the salon acts like a family. The staff are so caring, friendly, and funny. You can't go wrong. They all do a great job with regular mani/pedis, gels, acrylics, waxing--whatever you want and need. The staff also seem very embedded in the community. There is a sense of "the regulars" who go to this place. The staff chats with people as if they are at a family dinner table while simultaneously maintaining a professional and clean environment. Not only did they do a horrible job on my nails but when I showed the owner Lori, she was very rude both times I went and when I asked her to fix my nails she said she was going to charge me another 30 dollars after I just paid 50 to get a full set on. I would NOT recommend wonder nails to anyone! Lori is a horrible owner/person. The place has literally stopped almost all sanitary measures since the end of COVID restrictions. She was so rude, did a horrible job & got a infection. She then talks crap in nonEnglish about you when you complain or ask questions. I think the state should step in and close this place. So disgusting. So this was my first time here. I was surprised to see that there weren't any reviews on this place. They've been in this building for some years now. You walk in, and they greet you with a big hello! The place looks very clean and of course smells of acrylic. The prices for their services are in big letterings on the wall. If I had more time waiting to be serviced, I would have included all their service and prices in his review, as they don't have a website. I got a regular Mani/pedi which was $35. Separately a regular manicure is $14 and pedicure is $25. Mind you, I said regular. I don't know what comes with the upgraded Mani and pedi service for $60. Well, they put me in the pedi chair and the messaging chair did it's thing. The water was a little warm, but you just have to let them know. A lady beside me said the same thing. So they promptly fixed the temperature. Mai pronounced May (I think that was her name) tended to my feet. I don't have gnarly feet, and I don't need all the scrubbing to get the dead skin off. I take care if my feet even during the winter months. I couldn't say the same for the lady to my left! Oh boy! It looked as though her nail grew up in layers, not out! I think they had to give her a toe nail for one of her big toes. And all the scrubbing on her feet just didn't do the trick. She is definitely going to have to come back and slowly but surely have them work on her heels. They looked like the cracks in frost heaves. Anyway, after trimming my cuticles and messaging my tootsies and legs, they brought out rocks! Oh boy! I've never had rocks before, but ok, I'm game. Warm smooth rocks messaged on my feet and legs. Aahhhhh......then they dried my legs and feet, painted my toes and sat me at the drying table. Since they were so busy, I came back later in the day to get my manicure. When I walked through the door, the male owner was like 'Hey she's back! Yay!' I paid for the Mani/pedi earlier and told them that i would be back. They got so busy all of a sudden, that they wouldn'tve been able to finish my manicure. It was a sunny day, I wanted to enjoy the walk back home to retrieve my car. I'm glad i waited. Very nice manicure and message to my hands. Wonder Nails should be called a spa. They do everything. Different types if wax jobs, messages...they even offer permanent makeup. Super disappointed paid $70 for two manicures one shellac and one dip manicure. Which both lasted three days. My daughters dip chipped half of the nail off. She was on her way back to school stopped in to ask if they could fix it and was told it would be hours before they could fix it. The nail tech should've been told by the owner to stop in between her next client and fix the nail. While my shellac manicure took a total of 10 minutes as if the nail tech was trying to beat the clock to get the next client in. She didn't even let the nails cure completely under the light before she was already applying the next coats and it is also already chipping as well. I have never felt so rushed in my life just to be rushed to the front of the salon and be charged $70 plus tip for three days of painted nails. So disappointed in this nail salon. read more

First time was yesterday......last time was yesterday!! The nail polish selection wasn't very good, the salon did not have any separation partitions or curtains hanging between each pedicure chair which I'm sure is going against the COVID precautions businesses should be taking these days. The price of two pedicures was outrageous! For a gel pedicures and a regular pedicure the total was $98.....completely out of sight and totally not worth it. While mine came out decent enough, my friend had her toe cut so that it bled. At the end of our time there while we were paying my friend was injured by the plastic partition that was on the counter, it cut her nose and she needed to seek medical attention. To add insult to injury no one offered to not charge her for her pedicure which would have been the right thing to do considering what happened to her!! read more

Worst place ever will never go back had a shellac done and after one week it was peeling off. I went back to have them fix my nails and the owner wanted to charge me 20.00 to fix them after I had just paid 30.00 the week before. I left and will not go back I went to another place and they didn't even have to soak the polish off they could literally peel it off in one piece off each nail. read more

I only gave 4stars because they didn't have the best set up for getting acrylic toes...no special chair like I have had in other salons out of state. Went here today 8/27/18 and requested a pedicure and add on salt scrub treatment. The young man painted my toenails and dripped some oil on my legs and that was it. He spent no time to slough off dry skin or massage lotion as is typically done. A pedicure is typically a relaxing experience including foot and leg massage. Dangerous! Stay away! Last month I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and we all went here to get our nails done. It was the worst salon experience we've ever had. They butchered everyone's nails except the brides. They cut everyone's fingers up & they stung with pain. Everyone was bleeding. One of the girls was bleeding so bad, the guy manicurist put nail glue on it to stop the bleeding! Nail glue! Are you kidding me? They didn't apologize or act like anything was wrong. I've heard the wait for this place can be a little long, but I didn't have to wait long at all. They have all of my requirements for a nail salon: comfy massagy chairs and OPI nail polish. And then, hot stones for your leg massage. It was fantastic. Really a cut above. I also got an acrylic manicure afterwards and I think the owner, who was incredibly personable wanted to get home and so he and his wife tag-teamed my nails. I was fine with this. Unfortunately they didn't communicate what sizes they used for the white part which resulted in the nails not lining up when comparing thumb with thumb etc. Not a HUGE deal, but it irked me. Im glad to know that I'm not the only one that was cut up. Overall the place is okay but be careful of who you pick to do your nails. 5 of my fingers were completely bleeding. I don't know what she put on my cuts but its stung so bad weather it was glue or rubbing alcohol. At this point I was completely upset and mad as well as in pain. I wanted her to hurry up and be done with my nails I wasn't going to be her science project. The total came up to 32 dollars I gave her 35 and the woman didn't give me back my change. I wish there was a way that I could post a picture of my nails and how horrible they look. The cuts are so deep. When you get your nails done you like to show it off not have to sit there and put bandaids on every single finger. Not happy at all. I don't think they know what they're doing over there. Horrible customer service. Manager continued to talk about me to her client while I was on the phone asking if a gift card could be used if it was not physically present. Most salons/spas put a name with the card...in this case I would have been happy to show picture ID when using the card. Manager refused, there goes a $60 birthday gift. With a background in spa management, I would say this was definitely handled poorly. I have done a transaction using picture ID as described several times if a guest had mishandled their gift card. There was no offer to find a solution or an offer to come down and see wbat they could do. Just awful. Go elsewhere. read more
