I walked in at 5:15 asking for a dip mani. Flower did my manicure and one of the men did my design. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Flower was SO sweet and even though we talked the whole time, it was such a relaxing experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm visiting from out of town but will definitely be back whenever I visit!

No hate, but I would not recommend/advise anyone to visit this nail salon. Upon receiving a gel pedicure, I began to see visible changes on my natural nails. Assuming the staff does not clean the equipment thoroughly, fungus has consumed my nails on each hallux. Up to this day the matter has worsened, causing my real nail to brittle and fall off, leaving me with less than half of my natural nail in horrible condition. Please visit a business that ensures they are very clean with their equipment! *Gel-X Mani + Gel Pedicure = $110, not to mention the nail tech nicked my finger and I left bleeding as well*

Love my nails and pedi. They did a wonderful job and gentle with it all. I was able to bring my own dip powder without any problems. Thank you for your wonderful work and service. Highly recommend

Service was expensive for bad quality. I asked the lady to redo two nails that were super crooked and I didn't realize there was a third till I left. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I told her they were crooked she tried telling me my fingers were crooked? So it was my fault somehow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked for a natural green and she only had pastel green and swore I showed her this color when I didn't. Again on me somehow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]By this point I didn't even wanna tell her how bad it looked I just wanted to get out and go get them fixed elsewhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And to top it off there's a ton of glue under my nails, it seems like they only have old dried out nail products. I wish I didn't come across this place. This is the color I requested vs what I got

I recently started to come here from Hollywood. I wasn't able to find the person to hear what I needed and actually be okay with requests without looking annoyed of you until I came here and found Nikki. Nikki is amazing at her career. She is gentle when it comes to cleaning ingrown nails which I suffer a lot from. Her soul is a happy soul. She makes you feel very welcome and I never feel rushed. She is simply the best! I have given a few a tried but I ended up going back to her and sticking to her! One thing I do love a lot are the way she makes my French tips!! They are so bomb!! Everyone always compliments them! And honestly, it is hard to not vibe with her because of how amazing she is! I even started to bring in my mother in law to get her pedi and she absolutely loves her as well! Over all everyone is friendly and very helpful! You will not be disappointed!

My go-to place for nails for the past 10 years! I genuinely cannot and refuse to go to any other place for my manicure and pedicure. The atmosphere, the ambiance, and the quality is unequal. I've gone to other places in my life, and this was the one place where they take time in detail and care for your nails. Flower, Kim, Nikki, Sydney, Peter, John, and my lovely others all do so well in taking care of your needs. This is the place for self-love.

Went here with my friend bc i saw this place had such great reviews. We both felt so rushed the entire time. She put way too much filler on my nails and rushed thru sanding down my gelx nails. Left them super bumpy and uneven. When i asked her to sand them down and make them even she insisted that it was my nail shape and said to wait till after she added the paint. Then i reminded her to sand them down and she said she couldn't now that she added the paint. Then reluctantly tried to sand them down and added another top coat on top making them even thicker and more uneven at one point she said that next time i should make an appointment if i wanted a better job with more time. WTF. Then why am i paying half price for half ass work. Don't go here. Period.

I have been a loyal customer of Wonder Nails for at least 5 years now and have a great relationship with Flower. She's simply the best! Always coming up with great ideas for my nails and always at a great price! All of the nail techs there are great and provide amazing friendly service. You always feel welcome and come out with nails you LOVE! They have so many loyal customers because they're the best shop in LA. I cannot get my nails done any where else now that I've experienced perfection :) 5/5 10/10 I'll come to this shop as long as they'll have me!

No hate, but I would not recommend/advise anyone to visit this nail salon. Upon receiving a gel pedicure, I began to see visible changes on my natural nails. Assuming the staff does not clean the equipment thoroughly, fungus has consumed my nails on each hallux. Up to this day the matter has worsened, causing my real nail to brittle and fall off, leaving me with less than half of my natural nail in horrible condition. The massage chairs are a nice bonus. A pedicure with no color is around $25-$30. They are pretty fast but still thorough and efficient. They can usually accommodate with no appt which is great. The parking across the street is $1/hr. Love coming here and getting a matcha nearby. read more

I've been going here for years, and they always do a fantastic job with my nails. Whether it's gel polish on my natural nails, a new acrylic set, or fills, their work is consistently detailed. I've always had male manicurists, and no matter who I get in the rotation, I know I'm in good hands. I love that they're flexible and often take me as a walk-in when I don't have time to make a reservation. They're always efficient, so I never feel like I'm waiting too long, and every service I've received has been fairly priced. read more

I have been coming here for over 6 years. Definitely my go to nail salon in LA. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. I usually come here for gel manis and they always do a thorough job. Excellent service and positive vibes all around. There is a parking lot/garage conveniently across the street. It's $1/hour for the first 2 hours, so pretty good deal! read more

I wish I could give a better review as my manicurist was lovely and sweet but the job was not great. I called at 1:15 for a 2pm and they told me to come in. When I arrived they were busy. I waited for 30 minutes in a pedicure chair. The place is absolutely filthy. I should have left when I saw the arm rests on the massage chair and the massage remote. Covered in paint, stains and dust/grime. Unfortunately I stayed. My manicure was uneven and the paint clumpy/thick. The pedicure was too short and my nails/cuticles looked ragged as I left. I just moved to the neighborhood and it's a lovely day so I thought I'd get a much needed pedicure. When I walked in he said it be few minutes. Nearly 30 mins later and still "few minutes." So I walked out. The place isn't very clean and they don't seem especially friendly so not heartbroken that I didn't get my pedicure from there but they lost a potentially loyal customer who lives a few blocks away. I had to get my nails redone before a wedding because I had messed them up the day before. The lady who took care of me was extremely patient and listened to what I wanted. There was so much time and effort in ensuring that I liked the end product for my pedicure. She even let me try a color out and switch it without issue when I didn't like the first color I picked. This place has wonderful staff and they do an amazing job with nails. My pedicure cost about $25 before tip. This place is definitely much more reasonably priced than other places I've been to in the past. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Visiting for the weekend, I called around 2pm for a same day appointment and was scheduled at 6pm. Due to traffic, I ended up calling back and I was rescheduled at 7pm for a full set-- very accommodating. When I walked into the shop, it was a full house! I ended up waiting a few minutes before Sydney started fixing my cuticles. She is super nice and very talented! She talked me up to getting Gel-X instead of the regular acrylic set. She BODIED the design I showed her. The Gel-X + Design = $90 w/o tip. I was in an out of the shop a little over an hour. Overall: GREAT experience at Wonder Nails!! Would definitely recommend. My fav nail salon in LA. Flower is great on pedi and always warm and welcoming everytime I go & Sydney is the best with manicures!! Super precise and thorough with details. Highly recommend. Also, there's a cheap parking lot across the street which is a plus. It's $2 if I remember correctly. read more

I love coming here!! Sydney can do pretty much any design you want. I always show her some inspo pic from Pinterest and she's able to copy and paste it onto my nails. She's super nice and friendly and I look forward to nail day. Their prices are also very reasonable. read more

Wonder Nails is such a hidden gem in Los Angeles! As someone who loves to get her nails done, I've done my fair share of trial and error with various nail businesses across town. I went to Wonder Nails on a whim to get a red french tip gel manicure, and was fully blown away by the quality of their work. They were able to service me quickly on a weekend and my nail technician Nikki was SUPER attentive and detail-oriented. She knew exactly what I wanted and ensured that each nail was perfectly shaped and painted. Not to mention, their prices are super affordable! I've finally found my new go-to nail spot in LA and cannot recommend Nikki enough :') read more

Ok, I am too through. Made an appointment for today at 12:30, didn't get serviced until 1:15ish and was done at like 2:45. Ugh. The line of the manicure is smudged and looks a got damn mess on every nail. The cute gold charms are all crooked and the dollar signs are backwards with globs of adhesive you can clearly (now) see. Then of course they start to rush through me and stand up applying the charms because a regular with an appointment came in. I've come here a few times, went elsewhere and returned today for the last time. Two stars because the employees are very nice and they have a lot of design options. read more

This was my first time coming here. I called for a same day appointment to get a Gel-X manicure and they were accommodating to an evening appointment. My nail tech was Sydney and she did a phenomenal job. She was kind, detail-oriented and asked me all throughout the process if I was happy with how she was going about it and made sure everything was to my exact liking. She completed this set in about an hour which was super impressive considering the precision and perfect detail. Lyn! Always gives me just what i ask for! Not to mention she's has helped with my nail growth. When i started to see Lyn my nails were fragile thin and will brake easily. 4 months after i could finally rock my natural nails with out having the brake/chip. Tina! Wow she's super good at removing ingrown nails with out causing to much pain nor discomfort. And gives the best food massage ever, she has angel hands. These two ladies are my go to. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I have been going to this same location for years. Recently, it changed name and ownership. What didn't change is the quality! I have naturally long nails and the Wondernails team always makes sure to take care of me and my nails fabulously! At the moment, I am on three weeks with the same gel mani/pedi. NO chips, no broken nails. They know what they are doing. I am pretty vocal about any issues with them. Dropped in to this convenient downtown location after work for a mani pedi and was seated right away. The experience was fine, but results were poor. The second coat didn't entirely cover the first coat, giving me an annoying uneven effect to the base and sides, the top coat on some nails didn't cover the color and I did not get the full service that I had paid for. I went to the counter to tell them I did not get good service and they were rude. They told me I could get five dollars off and then the woman that butchered my feet came out to argue with me about the service I received. read more
