First time I got sugar waxed when I was young put me off, but gave it a second try at this studio and the service was amazing, pain was minimal, no redness and the overall attention to detail was great! Def get there early to find parking, might get lucky with street parking but there's a couple of parking lots near by -- take cash and if you mention it's for waxing you might get charged a lil less. read more

This was my very first experience sugaring- or anything like it, I've never even waxed. I was going on vacation in Tulum and thought this was as good a time as any to try it! Miel by Bee is so conveniently located and the place itself is really aesthetically pleasing. Brenda made me feel so comfortable and I was shocked at how little it hurt. Obviously it wasn't completely pain free but honestly I was expecting to be screaming or something. I was just carrying on a conversation no problem. I've had so many bad experiences waxing and going places that weren't sanitary, even before COVID began. I've never been comfortable with how people do their waxing, but seeing how well and clean Bee was brought so much comfort, especially because of the pandemic. The pain is obviously there since you're literally yanking hair out of your skin, but about 10-15 seconds later it went away! I did both my underarms and a Brazilian and it only took 30 minutes! Super quick and super easy! Also!! My skin in both areas feel sooo soft and I didn't expect that but it's such a pleasant bonus. *Another also* Idk if any of you ladies are thinking about buying your own wax kit or buying something at target just to do it yourself, but if you are, don't!!
