The mall is fairly big, with two floors, carrying a lot of familiar brand stores, and even ones that I'm sure some have never heard of. The interior has a modern look, which I'm sure had its renovation done a couple or several years back, but adds up looking clean and nice. It's in no condition of being a dead mall, despite there being a couple of closed stores, specifically anchor stores that don't exist anymore (pretty much all malls these days). The food court has a number to offer, with some of its usual eateries and a couple of ones that will blow your mind. Plenty of tables are provided to fit many people. For restaurants, there are Red Robin, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's, Muldoon's Steakhouse & Pub, and Chipotle Mexican Grill. I wouldn't mind coming back to this mall, but won't be anytime soon due to how far I am.

We were so excited to see these machines as they had genuine limited gachapon straight from Japan! The price to play each machine ranges from 4 to 5 tokens and each token is $1. This is quite expensive but for the experience I'd say it's worth trying once or twice! If you're an anime fan, they had quite a bit of gachapon from popular animes like demon slayer, spy x family and dragon ball z. There is a machine that accepts cash or card which will give you the tokens to play. We also found a cool cotton candy maker vending machine near the food court but it was super expensive, I believe $10 or so for one and the machine itself didn't look very well kept. All in all, had a fun experience here!

Because of that, I didn't know there was a Spencers for years (not that I was looking for that store, but it's just interesting that I never knew there was a pretty well known store in a corner for years). The food court is pretty good with a wide selection of items and this one area between the center of the mall and the food court hallway occasionally switched out. Store prices vary and the mall can't really control that, obviously, but there's a good variety of stores with their ranging prices so that you can find your preference. I only know of one bathroom area and while it's pretty big, it also feels hidden and is inconvenient if you need to go from anywhere besides the center of the mall. Also, there's great parking and a bus stop for commuters. There's also other stores located in the same area but not in the mall which is convenient for a variety of reasons.

Parking is plentiful but like anyone else I'm jockeying for spots close. It's usually pretty safe and there are plenty of security guards but just be careful going to your car at night. A good mall.

(In my defense, I am carrying an iced latte.) This is not your typical suburban mall. There are no fluorescent lights illuminating a food court full of teenagers eating pretzels. Instead, you'll find restaurants, cafés, valet parking, and enough designer stores to make you briefly consider whether you, too, are the kind of person who needs a silk scarf. The Short Hills Mall somehow manages to feel both luxurious and welcoming. Whether you're there to buy a designer handbag or simply wander around with a coffee and people-watch, there's something lovely about spending an afternoon here. Five stars for allowing me to feel rich for a few hours.

It has a nice mix of luxury brands along with more affordable options. I especially like the Macy's here, it's never crowded, as well as Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel. They also recently added little words project (love this store and its mission to spread kindness ). We also came for their Christmas Santa photos, and it was a really nice experience meeting Santa with the kids. The only downside is that I wish they had a food court. The tables and seats are arranged cafeteria-style, with all the vendors surrounding the dining area. It wasn't too busy around 12 PM, so I walked around the different stalls to get a feel for what this food court had to offer. Thankfully, I didn't have to think too hard about what to try because one of my friends is basically a Flushing food expert, despite not even living in NYC. While there were at least 15 vendors, we only grabbed a few bites from three of them since these were my friend's favorites: - Fat Cat Flatbread 胖猫锅盔 - Liang Pi Wang 凉皮王 - Xie Bao Crabhouse 蟹宝 The food came out pretty quickly after ordering, and these three stalls awakened our stomachs in preparation for more delicious food to come. Overall, I liked that New York Food Court had plenty of seating and felt much more lowkey compared to the crowded and overwhelming New World Food court nearby. It's a convenient place to sample food from multiple vendors without having to fight for a table.

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

I ordered the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich and was just given a plain chicken sandwich. No pepperJack cheese that's supposed to come on the sandwich and no bbq sauce, which I requested. It was listed on the box. I also ordered the collards and mac n cheese. Now my expectations were kind of high going into this meal bc of the celebrity name attached, and boy what a let down. The Mac n cheese was very creamy with some collards mixed in it but the cream to noodle ratio was off! It felt like a noodle cream soup Lol. So the first strike was the sandwich, the second strike was the noodle soup aka the mac n cheese with collard greens... I'd say the menu items are worth trying and the food is good. Her dishes are available across several Wonder restaurants: Burger Baby, Detroit Brick Pizza, and Royal Greens. You'll see special menu sections on the app.  I skipped on the K-BBQ Pizza because I'm not a fan of Wonder's Detroit-style pizza. I liked all that I did try, which were (in descending order of most liked to liked):  -- Esther Choi's Seoul Bowl -- K-BBQ Burger -- K-Town Loaded Fries -- Esther Choi's Seoul-ba Noodle Bowl with Tuna Seoul Bowl was my favorite - loved the cubed assortment of veggies, honey chicken, fried shallots, and her Gochujang dressing (I can only handle 1 dressing cup though).  K-BBQ Burger and K-Town Loaded Fries tied for my second place. If the fries were crispier, it would have been my favorite (this could have been because of an off night at Wonder, but the fries were tough). The mix of beef bulgogi, onions, kimchi, and bulgogi mayo was perfect! The fries brought it down a notch for me... K-BBQ Burger was good. I added all toppings except lettuce. Very good burger! Seoul-ba Noodle Bowl was good - Tuna was high quality (this was my first time trying raw tuna at Wonder, so I was relieved after the first bite). Soba noodles were good. My only issue was that perhaps it was an off night for Wonder, as they put too much kimchi, which threw off the ratios for me. I looked at the sticker slip on the bowl; it looked like more than 2 scoops to me, but I'm not totally sure.  I ordered takeout, so the dishes may taste differently if you ate at the food hall. Looking for a good NY pizza? Check. Tacos? Check. BBQ? Check. The list goes on. I was super impressed with the amount of options they had as well as the different seating options. I went with a personal Vodka pizza from Bello & Angelo and holy crap was it good! I also got a side of Mike's Hot Honey, which was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious pie. Also, all of the eateries have an intercom to announce when your order is up, making it super convenient. Definitely recommend!
