    Poke bowl
    James L.

Heard a lot about this place and finally got to try it and it's worth the hype. It's gourmet food at a slightly discounted price. There are so many different cuisines and you'll likely find something you like. Steak, burger, Thai, Mediterranean food, Chinese etc. I love the poke bowl so much I ordered it again as soon as I got my hands on another coupon. There are a few tables there but it's more meant to be a takeout place. You order online and they text you when it's ready for pickup. It isn't cheap but it's quality food which you'll like pay more elsewhere.

garlic fries, cheesesteak on soggy roll.

Ordered from Fred's Meat & Bread and have to say, I will not order from them again. The fries with the garlic and parsley no way resembled what they advertise. Instead I had a blob of garlic tossed on top of the fries and not spread out. My cheesesteak had a soggy mess of a roll. Not sure where the american cheese was, unless it was blended in and the cheesesteak itself was a bit tough. Attached are pictures, and they certainly don't look like what's advertised. I ended up tossing more than half of the cheesesteak, unfortunately you can't see the other side of it. I didn't think to take more than one photo. Also, the garlic/parsley is spread a bit from the middle blob.

(In my defense, I am carrying an iced latte.) This is not your typical suburban mall. There are no fluorescent lights illuminating a food court full of teenagers eating pretzels. Instead, you'll find restaurants, cafés, valet parking, and enough designer stores to make you briefly consider whether you, too, are the kind of person who needs a silk scarf. The Short Hills Mall somehow manages to feel both luxurious and welcoming. Whether you're there to buy a designer handbag or simply wander around with a coffee and people-watch, there's something lovely about spending an afternoon here. Five stars for allowing me to feel rich for a few hours.

It has a nice mix of luxury brands along with more affordable options. I especially like the Macy's here, it's never crowded, as well as Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel. They also recently added little words project (love this store and its mission to spread kindness ). We also came for their Christmas Santa photos, and it was a really nice experience meeting Santa with the kids. The only downside is that I wish they had a food court. It would definitely make the shopping experience easier, especially when you're there with kids and want to grab a quick bite. Overall, I like coming here.

I love food courts! Best worst food out there hahaha!!!!…read more My wife ordered food from here on a recent trip to the mall! She got a chicken and rice combo. It was pretty tasty. It wasn't amazing! But for bulk pre-made Chinese food it is pretty good. They are located inside the Livingston Mall on the 2nd floor. There is a decent size food court up there. There really is never enough seating, but if you wait a minute or 2 a seat will pop up. The staff also does a pretty decent job of cleaning up after people. Some people do the right thing and throw garbage away, many people sadly do not do that... This joint usually has the longest line surprisingly! All you do is get premade food hahaha! Its not a bad price and you get a nice amount of food. I tried some and it was pretty good. My kid had a few spoonful's of chicken and rice and he didn't complain lol! All in all, if you want chinese and you are here, as long as the bar isnt crazy high, you will be fine. I would not come here specifically for it lol!

It's actually more of a meal-delivery app that serves made-to-order dishes for lunch, dinner, or whenever you're hungry. somehow i was under impression that - as it says that it has food hall concept, it would have seating like the ones you see in malls or upscale shopping centers. I even saw this building while driving to work -- it's decent in size, so my assumption felt justified. But when I visited yesterday, I realized how wrong I was. The space has just 2-3 tables and can accommodate maybe 10-12 people at most and large kitchen area preparing those dishes from 25 restaurants. Definitely not designed for dine-in -- the focus is clearly on delivery and pickup. You can order from kiosks, and they offer menus from over 25 different restaurants, including some really well-known names. Here's what we ordered: * Tortiglioni Pomodoro from Alazna (a pasta dish) * Fried Chicken Sandwich & Fries from Streetbird * Zesty Chicken Bowl from Yasas by Michael Symon The burger and pasta were both really good, but the chicken bowl- was served cold -- I had expected something warm, like Chipotle-style, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, the concept is great, but now that I know the wonder is not designed for 'relax- sit and eat', I'd definitely stick to delivery or pickup in the future.

Didn't get a chance to try it out until yesterday and man, we were missing out. The yunnan rice noodle soups are so good, and different, from the more commonly found Asian noodles; ramen, udon, pho, etc. Not going to say that it's better than the others but it's absolutely fantastic that there's another option now when you just want a warm, comforting noodle soup. Especially since winter is coming. The setup is more akin to a food court than a restaurant so the small seating area is shared with Kam Man and all the tableware/utensils are plastic and disposable. There's a door to the outside basically right there though so unless you're seated to either side of it you get blasted w/cold air every time someone enters or exits. For my first visit I went with their "pickled pepper soup rice noodle w/beef stew" (A8) and it was very good. The soup was flavorful and the noodles were perfect; fresh & not mushy at all. And digging through the bowl was like going on a treasure hunt for lil' yummy morsels: a quail egg here, some wood ear there, a random piece of thinly sliced ham, good stuff. However, for those of you w/nut allergies, they do add roasted peanuts to some of their dishes so you'll probably want to tell them to not add them to your food. The only minor neg with the dish was that the beef brisket was a tad tougher than I'd like. But if brisket isn't your thing, they also have the same dish but with "beef roll" (A7) which I found to be an odd translation for basically thinly sliced beef. I was so enamored w/this noodle soup that I brought my wife the very next day. I went with the same soup base but w/fish fillet (A9) this time and it was just as good as the first time. I will definitely have to come more often to try out their other offerings. I also noticed that they have rice based dishes as well in case you get tired of noodles. So anyway, I'll definitely be visiting a lot more and I really hope they stick around longer than the previous eateries at this location. And while it would be nice (if not really feasible) to get your food in 10 seconds as their name implies, so far their food has definitely been worth the wait.
