We used Wonder Washers Mobile Pet Grooming for the first time today and absolutely LOVED our experience. Thank you so much to the whole team for such an easy, seamless booking and appointment process. I had originally heard about Wonder Washers through a neighbor in our community. I was able to text the main Wonder Washers phone number (available on their business vans and online) and received a response in less than 3 business days. For context, I tried to be as detailed as possible in my message to help them understand what my pup needed and included some photos of previous haircuts that have worked for him. The team was so communicative and responded in a reasonable amount of time. I was so thankful that they monitor a text phone number as that is the easiest form of communication for our household. They were able to get my pup, Ollie, scheduled during my preferred date range. (Please note that this was a few weeks out! I would never expect them to be able to do something last minute since I can imagine they are popular and in demand!) And they provided me with an estimated appointment time and were very clear that their groomer could arrive +/- an hour before or after arrival time. Totally reasonable given the nature of their job and the fact that they drive from city to city. Carly called me about 5-10 minutes before she was set to arrive. Then, she texted me once she had parked so I could bring Ollie out to her. SUPER thankful for her kindness and willingness to send the quick text as we work from home and were able to keep the other dogs from getting worked up over a door bell/knock. Ollie is a pretty shy and nervous pup, but he seemed significantly less scared during the handoff since there was not the additional stress of other dogs and no cages he had to wait in! Carly was able to get him in and out in less than an hour. My husband and I were both so impressed! Again, for context, he is a small poodle mix (~16 pounds) and we keep him regularly groomed. It is my understanding that he is also pretty easy to work with and lets a groomer move him around as needed. Would never want to set the expectation that this is the norm for all dogs in all situations, but this was our experience and it was SUCH a nice change compared to the 3-4 hours that it can take when dropping him off at a traditional groomer. I was able to pay directly with Carly using mobile pay and my card. They offer the ability to schedule the next appointment there in person or -- if you need to review your schedule -- then you can also reach back out to their number for your pup's next appointment. Super convenient! I had been wanting to try a local mobile groomer for a while and am so happy that I did. Thank you guys again! We are beyond impressed with their start to finish customer service and of course, the level of service we received as new customers before the groomer even saw our little guy. Fast forward, Banksy met his groomer Stephanie this morning. She was so sweet and was able to take him right from me (he can be fidgety and snippy) and he didn't even flinch. I can't say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend and won't go anywhere else! I am very picky and, of course, only want the best and safest option for my girl and Wonder Washers certainly provides this. I definitely get the impression they genuinely love and care for your animal, which is not always easy to find in a groomer. I am primarily based in Canada, but try and have her groomed every time we are in Palm Desert. We actually joke about flying down when she needs to groom just so we can use Wonder Washers. Definitely the best cuts she has ever had - I like her to be cut quite short especially in the heat, but she has a difficult coat and they know how to handle it. They come right to our house so I feel extremely safe since I don't have to leave her anywhere and I love that she isn't exposed to any other dogs during the groom as she is quite nervous around others, especially large breeds. The groomers do a fantastic job and she seems to really love them. They also use the cutest "desert themed" bandanas so she is looking extra gorgeous afterwards. Wonder Washers is truly a wonder! I have been trying to groom my Yorkipoo myself for over a year and was having such a hard time with her nails. I put out a request on YELP and Wonder Washers responded within the hour. I texted Shannon and her responses were very timely. (Nothing like sitting all day waiting on a response from a business!) She was able to get my dog in within a day for her nails. Then she had a reschedule and promptly texted me she had an opening for a full groom. Stephanie was our groomer and she was so bubbly and friendly that my dog and I both immediately felt comfortable with her. Worst dog groomers I have ever used! I have a Berneydoodle, who is groomed daily. She has a few tangles, needs a bath, and her nails trimmed. I booked the appointment one month out. This was my second time using Wonder Washers. The first time was fair, but I decided to give the young girl another try. She took my dog in the van, but then she got out of the van to talk on her cell phone! She saw my dog maybe 10 minutes. I walked out to see why she was not doing my dog. She asked if she could just shave all her hair off, as she did not have time to even bathe her. I said NO!! She said it would take too long to groom and bathe her.! After I took my dog inside, I noticed she had shaved a 5" square of hair off my dog. My. Beautiful dog was ruined! I called the company owner and she said the girl should have told me the truth.. they have to get the van back by a certain time, so they did not have time to properly service me. BE CAREFUL!! DONOT USE THIS COMPANY !! They Lie and only want your money. They do not care for your pet. No integrity!! read more
