They charged me $129 just to look at it and then another $125 to replace the part plus the $66.70 for the part. I go to get in the car start up. Now I have no air conditioner My front windows don't work. I bring it up to the manager they said they'll fix it and look at it. One day goes by they hadn't touched the car. The second day it goes by and they call me up first thing in the morning and say your car is fine I go in and they just said it worked when we started it so you don't know what you're talking about. Take a video. How do you take a video of AC not working? I understand the window they can see me press down. The issue is that their service manager was there the day it happened and saw that everything was not working. So I should not have to take a video because they saw it with their own eyes. Basically what they were saying get out out of here if something happens come back and will do nothing again but charge you $129 to look at your car. She actually told me I could put the fob down and she charged me $129. She was rude obnoxious and didn't listen to reason whatsoever. She had her it didn't work for us so we can't do anything about it. But it didn't work when you had possession of the car so you should've fixed it then. They have major issues. Will never go back there again no matter what. I recommend that no one ever goes back to that place for service. And I hope that no one ever buys a car from them again. That place needs to go out of business.

First, this review is an HONEST ACCOUNT of my experience with this company and my knowledge of the…read morebusiness from the point of view of the buyer. MY OPINION IS NOT FOR SALE. As I was reading these bad reviews, it was truly frustrating. So many of the problems people have written about were THEIR OWN mistakes. 1. When looking at online pricing, read EVERYTHING written on the website and in the terms of service that might impact the price. If they say the price may change if you don't finance with them, then expect a higher price. 2. Tell them before you buy that you want to take it to YOUR mechanic to look over. That is standard in the used auto business. If they say no, leave. 3. Warranties are only as good as the people offering them. I never buy a warranty. A car purchase is a major investment. Why wouldn't you do a Carfax to see how many people have owned the car or if it's been in an accident? Why wouldn't you, if at all possible, not contact the previous owner? Sometimes that is not an option, but sometimes it is. 4. Establish your budget before you go and hold to it no matter what a dealership person says. If they talk you into something you end up regretting, that is your own dang fault. 5. Most of all, NEVER fall in love with a vehicle. You ALWAYS have to be willing to walk off the lot. Negotiate the price you want, give them your budget, and if they cannot meet it, then leave. 6. The responsibility to get the deal you want is SQUARELY ON YOUR SHOULDERS. If you go to buy a vehicle and you are unprepared, then you must take responsibility for your mistakes. 7. NEVER spend hours at a car dealership sitting in a lobby or waiting on some manager. YOU are the buyer. If you don't get immediate help at every stage of this experience, tell them you are taking your money somewhere else. Remember, ALL car dealerships, whether used or new, are going to try to get as much money out of you as they can. In our 35+ year marriage (at the time), my spouse and I had never had a credit card or bought anything on credit except our home. It wasn't that we had a bad credit score, we pretty much had NO credit score. These people took a chance on us and gave us a good deal on a great car, and financed it. That was about 10 years ago. It is a beautiful vehicle. I still own it and it has run beautifully ever since. I did all of the things I mentioned above and got a good deal. Our credit score is now more than 800 and we have been able to buy our forever dream home. We could have never achieved that if this dealership had not taken a chance on a couple who previously did not believe in financing things. We had always paid cash for our cars, but this was a car I wanted that was a little out of our cash price range but still fit our overall budget. Of course, there was a short battle of give and take as to be expected; I don't think they were expecting a disabled old grandmother being as tough on them in negotiations as they were on me, but we quickly fell into a comfortable relationship of mutual respect. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. HOWEVER, I would NEVER expect them to give me anything. Any advantages or deals I want I WILL HAVE TO TAKE, and that happens by 1. being prepared, 2. doing my due diligence,, 3. having my own mechanic do a thorough check of the vehicle, and 4. sticking to my budget no matter what anyone there says. Oh, and NEVER discuss your credit score or give them ANY financial information other than your budget until you are at the point of sale. Your credit score, your salary and your financial information IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS until you are at the point of sale. ONLY THEN do you provide them with only what they need to complete the sale. And, NEVER provide financial info if you are paying cash. Most of all: you MUST be willing to walk away. THAT IS THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH YOUR EXPERIENCE IS BASED. Always Always ALWAYS be ready and willing to walk away.

Worked out a price with the promise the scratch would be like it never existed, also was told they would knock $1000 off if I financed and could pay it off after 3 months. Go back the next day to do a final walk around and to finalize the purchase, they then say they can't fix the scratch/ding because it will not match (this was odd and BS), also looked at how they wanted to finance and it was going to cost $1400 more in interest by going this route so the $1000 less was actually $400 more. I had shopped with them years ago and had a bad vibe but was told they had new ownership and had new practices, obviously that is not the case. After reviewing the carfax it had some very odd transfers and notes, feel as if it may had been more to the story than told.

This year we had some minor cosmetic issues with the vehicle. I was told the parts were on back order for a long time, but come to find out they actually got them a month or so after they were ordered. No big deal. We got an appointment and got it fixed quickly. A few weeks ago our sunroof literally exploded for no reason. We originally tried to go through the Kia dealership in Clarksville since that's where we live, but we went around in circles with them and corporate. During the appointment where the minor cosmetic damage was fixed, I mentioned the sunroof to Maggie. I didn't ask her to help me because I figured going around in circles with a dealership was normal, so I was prepared to let that process run its course. After my cosmetic issue was fixed, I go in to sign paperwork, and Maggie was like "hey I got approval from Kia to go ahead and replace that sunroof free of charge, so I went ahead and ordered the glass. I'll let you know when it arrives and we can set up and appointment to get it fixed." ..... I was surprised to say the least. The thing that was taking our local dealership days and days to even respond to phone calls and emails about took Maggie at Greenway Kia Rivergate 2 hours to figure out... I know this place seems to get a bad wrap, but I'm thoroughly impressed with everyone there. Thank you so much everybody!!

Shortly after delivery, I discovered the steering wheel controls didn't work, multiple dashboard warnings appeared, the AC and heated seat didn't work, the car still shook while driving, and the "repaired" windshield crack was still visible. I paid for an independent inspection, which confirmed repairs were needed. I was told a faulty module could cause many of the electrical issues and advised to wait until it was replaced before reporting additional problems. It fixed nothing. Later, salesman Shawn Bowers blamed me for not reporting issues sooner, despite me following the guidance I was given. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've spent an additional $3,768.41 out of pocket, even after partial reimbursement from the dealership. Most recently, I had to replace the battery because the car is now stalling and revving at idle. Communication has been terrible. Shawn was extremely difficult to reach and constantly had excuses. He promised to call me back about helping with repairs and never did. This experience has caused my family major stress and financial burden. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against buying from CarSmart.Net.

(Red flag, if they hand you an aritration form to sign). We bought a vehicle here and we traded it in to another dealership 4 months later after not wanting to put money into a paint job is suddenly needed. When I called to see what they needed from me as proof of sale to get a refund on the remaining balance of the warranty, I was told it was only refundable if the car was totaled by the insurance company or if it was repossessed. This is the first time I've ever heard of a non refundable warranty. We've called them on this sneaky tactic and they will not return calls, I've told them I'd be happy even if they kick back half of it, but crickets, I told them I will file complaints with BBB, St atty general and consumer protection office which I have.
