CHEATER Owner, Sammy, refused to honor $100 cash gift card to pay for sale items I was buying. My friend purchased the gift card for my birthday, paid $100 for it, was not told cannot be used on sale items. Needless to say, what the owner is doing is not just immoral but illegal. I'm sure she's done it to other customers as well. By coincidence, my other friend was shopping with me same day, was paying cash for her multiple items and Sammy tried to give her $20 less in change. Certainly doesn't feel like honest mistake, given how she runs her business. Cheating her customers and also hiding behind the fact that her receipts don't show any itemization, just a date and total dollar amount, so there's no way to tell what she charged for which item. I've been going to this amazing little shop for over 10 years. The friendly and funny owner Sami and her daughter Carly are fantastic with style. They will help you but never push you to buy anything. The store is clean and adorable. What can I say about this incredible place?! I have NEVER walked out empty handed; be that for myself or for gifts. The last 1 1/2 years have been very scary & challenging for all small businesses but Sami & Carly have bent over backwards to keep their customers happy & SAFE! They do live showings weekly & are open with an appointment. Hidden gem of the valley!! They are a bit pricy but tso unique that they are worth every penny.

This truly is a lovely boutique. Visiting is a true sensation! The first time I visited, I simply browsed and was excited to return and shop. The owner was helpful and fun. The 2nd time, I walked out with a good selection of outfits and I was a very happy camper! However, during my 3rd visit, I walked out of the store completely disappointed, deflated and I will never return. Not sure what was going on with the owner, since she did not come across as her usual self from previous visits to the store. I was browsing the essentail oil selection and was peeked with interest. Mind you, I'm not one of those obnoxious shoppers whose mind set is to do what I want and not be mindful or display disrespect. I value and appreciate the efforts put forward by a store. Clearly, there were no signs or directions about opening up the bottles of essential oils, nor was anything clearly labeled as to what was a samples and could be opened. I used my judgment and decided to only sample was was already opened. It never crossed my mind to ask, so I suppose I could have. However, this does not excuse the actions by the owner. Before I knew, the owner yelled from the counter as she saw me opening up a bottle "you know you can't open that, right?" This was done in front of another customer, and my daughter. I replied "no I did not know." The owner walked over and started to explain, which made sense. The bottled need to remain sealed in order to sell. I tried to explain that the bottle was already opened and it was hard to distinguish the samples. She blamed it on the customers removing the labels and other issues she has had. I get it, but not my fault. I then started to open up another bottle that had already been opened and the owner literally yelled "NO, NO NO." What she did next was completely unacceptable. She looked at the other customer and directed her comment at her and not me, "now I can't sell this." Being completely annoyed at this point, I told her to sell it to me. I had no problem buying it since obviously, I did something I had no idea I was not suppose to do. Needless to say, I did buy the oil, but I did not appreciate the passive/aggressive treatment and being ridiculed in front of another customer and my daughter. If the store is having issues with the essential oils, she needs to take a proactive approach and make changes to mitigate future problems. What the owner should not do is be derogatory towards customers that have no idea! With that said, I will never return, but hope other shoppers continue to enjoy this great little gem of a store. Unfortunately, I'm now completely turned off by this experience. I waited before writing a review because I really don't like giving negative feedback. However, this has been bothering me for a couple of months, so I decided to post hoping it's used as constructive criticism and nothing else.
