Came in on a Thursday night and it was slammed. We were seated pretty quickly and the server was quick to take drink orders. We decided to switch it up and order off the winter menu, both getting the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. The soup was pretty good but the sandwich missed the mark. We ran into this place because it was across the street from our hotel and we were tired from setting up at the trade show. They do have an excellent beer list with mostly local brews. Our waitress was friendly and obliging as she brought us a couple beers to sample. I made an impulse decision off the specials menu and got short rib grilled cheese and the corn chowder. Chowder was thick and creamy but not greasy or broken which I appreciated. It was a little hot due to the jalapeños which I had not considered might be in it! The short rib grilled cheese is a dream for meat eaters. I was actually slightly disappointed there wasn't more cheese to go along with the heap of meat! Hahaha My friend had salmon over tricolor quinoa. The salmon was cooked perfectly but she would have preferred that it had some kind of sauce on it to mix into the quinoa. All in all, great place if you want to have a quick meal that is reasonably priced and has some quality to it. read more

Well I tried again. We got seated quickly this time. Both of my friends got different sides than they ordered but luckily they were comped and my friends said it was good. As my food the fries were once again cold and under seasoned. My burger was rather crispy on the edges as was the bun. It also definitely could've used more seasoning. Ayyy... 4* overall. The chicken wings were 5* crispy and perfect, got the garlic Romano and was so pleased! My spicy guava-Rita was also incredible..... the calamari was.. well, I've never sent anything back to the kitchen before and didn't want a redo and we did... the peppers were also battered which in and of itself is cool, except it made the plate look more full and there was little to no actual calamari. The calamari that you did find was incrediblyyyyy small rings and like half a tentacle and they were so overcooked it could have been cardboard and i couldn't tell you the difference. I'm pretty basic and I'm pretty pleasable, but just do NOT get the calamari- for $16 that was offensive. We've been to a few other Wood N Taps and have to say this one is the largest and has the best outdoor dining section. Our food and drinks were amazing and our service was pretty great as well. We will definitely be back to this Wood N Tap. Highly recommend the strawberry lemonade! read more

Went here for lunch for my daughters birthday and the Mac and cheese couldn't have been more dry, she wouldn't even eat it. The water for some reason also just tasted terrible. The three of us adults ordered the same steak chop salad and two appetizers to share, this took over an hour and tables near us had gotten their meals before our appetizer when they had gotten there after us. When the salads finally got to our table the "crispy fried onions" were ice cold, like a step below frozen, and the steak was impossible to cut because it was over marinated. The steak was super cooked on the outside but basically raw in the center like they cooked it while frozen. We didn't eat the salads at all and complained and they took it off the bill but the service just overall bad. read more

The service was one of the best! Everything looks very clean. The only problem was the food. The Fish N Chips was very yummy, now the chicken taco was very bad quality. Takeout experience was mediocre. I was there when the food came out, but fries were cold when I got it back. I asked if cutlery would be included and they said yes, but then nothing was added. Kids pasta w butter and cheese didn't have much, if any, of either, and was barely Al dente. Ordered Brussels sprouts and they weren't included. Clean and bright restaurant with excellent service. Food was very good. We really enjoyed the nachos - large size was big enough for 5 to share with left overs. Bourbon steak was excellent and so was the hard strawberry lemonade. We were celebrating a birthday, and really appreciated being able to bring in our own cake with no additional charge. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience here. This was my first time coming to wood n tap with my family. My order had been the Bacon burger cooked (Medium). When they brought it out it was extremely pink ! This was my first time going here. Although I'm not a picky eater whatsoever, it took me a little bit to figure out what I was in the mood for. It is American cuisine but a different style of American cuisine in my opinion. The clam chowder tastes similar to Pub 99's seafood chowder but I like this one just a little more. The green onions on top were a very nice touch. The blackened chicken pasta was absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 in my book. It's supposed to come with tomatoes but I asked they take those off. I do wish there were a little more mushrooms. The interior of the restaurant is a different type of vibe. Very beautiful and would love to go back! They have a huge selection of wine which is more than I've seen anywhere else. Only bad thing I will have to say is that the silverware wasn't the cleanest so I had to wipe it off with a wet napkin before using it. read more

I really enjoyed our stop at Wood N Tap! We came for dinner on a Saturday night about 8pm. The decor and ambiance felt classy and clean. Being from out of town, we weren't sure what to expect from this restaurant. We were met with very friendly wait staff who were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered a delicious margarita flight that was so fun, and my partner enjoyed tasting brews from the long list of fun selections! It's got a great atmosphere, and I've never been disappointed with the food. It does have false advertisements with the specials though so that's disappointing. Servers also don't leave app plates, or automatically bring water to a table when being greeted. read more

I love Wood N Tao but... after today's experience I don't think I will be back. As a soda drink the prices for a soda Everest are generally the same so I never think to ask price. But today out with my kids and husban for dinner. My husband asked if the had lemonade since the drinks including the sodas are not listed on the menu. The waitress said yes so listed varies flavors. He ordered a couple refills as did the rest of us. When were given the bill I was shocked to see 18.00 @ 4,50 each for the lemonade. Since not even the soda was listed on the menu I became upset . At any other establishment lemonade is the same as soda and free refillls. apparently wood n tap has a new gimmick to steal your monet, if you are not a drinker like us, never look at a cocktail menu you would never know that lemonade is now considered a mock-cocktail charging a premium price and they do not advise you upon ordering. buyer beware. the manager is too quick to sound as though you really should've read their cocktail menu to know the cost. Only refunded half of which the rest cane from a tip. Shady drink gimmicks. waitresses need to advise unknowing patrons. read more

This is an edit to my previous 5 star review. I can't believe a new establishment like this, who should build up their favoritism would have such incompetence and inhospitable treatment of their customer. We dined in with our children. Had the best time. Food was delicious. We were running to the Google page to leave a good review. Unfortunately, I had to change my review because we are incredibly dissatisfied with their customer support. My wife placed a pick up order through their website but the website didn't allow to pick a time, but previously we were able to schedule a pick up. My wife immediately called them on the spot, told cancel that order or at least push it (1 hour) to the desired time since we had other plans before picking up an order. We were just not able to pick up the order asap. They said they can't change the time and the order is being made already. Highly doubtful when my wife called 15 seconds after placing the order. They canceled the order after we kept calling and requesting. We o placed a new order, now with an option to schedule a pick up. They said the refund will be issued in couple days. Week went by, we were still double charged and the refund never came. My wife spend days calling the manager and they gave her more excuses how they don't even have the order receipt on their end, but we have the email receipt right in front of us. My wife tried contacting the bank and so on. Just after so many weeks, we just stopped bothering and never saw the refund. They wronged us and never bothered to fix it or even try to get it resolved over the phone. I will not give them business. Shame, because the food and the atmosphere was great. read more

I came here for drinks with my parents and my boyfriend. We came around 8:30 on a Saturday, and it wasn't busy at all. I mean no wait time, restaurant much less than 1/2 full... We were sat by the bar, and it took some time for the waitress to come over. Fine no biggie. Drinks came quickly. We had a pitcher of sangria for my boyfriend & I, and my mom had an expresso martini. My dad had a strawberry lemonade (plain...) I grabbed a menu from the table and accidentally spilled my moms expresso. We cleaned it up with the table napkins. Seemingly, no one came to help and no one came to ask if she wanted another drink for at least 20 minutes. Fine no big deal. We finally got to reorder another, and asked them for the check. We get the check, and the non alcoholic strawberry lemonade rang up as a strawberry basil lemonade, with strawberry.... For $10. The menu said lemonades were $3.99. We were told it was the extra strawberry which made it a $1 up charge to $10. So we're not sure how that math worked but it was definitely a disappointment. read more

This is my first time at this restaurant and I am extremely disappointed. My skinny margarita did not taste good you can't really mess that up but for some reason they put soda in it. The turkey burger was not good I didn't eat it the sweet potato fries they gave me like five of them to go with my hamburgers. I ordered blue cheese on my turkey burger but I didn't know that this place doesn't domelt any cheese on any of their burgers but of course that is not listed on the menu otherwise I would've asked him to melt my cheese. I went to their grand opening, and to my surprise, I didn't have a good time. I went in wanting to have a good time because my friend works at the establishment but I couldn't enjoy the evening. To start the night, I ordered a Hard Mango Lemonade which came back to me without any alcohol. I thought it was just my tolerance but my entire table tried a sip and agreed my drink was virgin. I then ordered the Sliders, Well-Done. They came back raw, so raw that it looked like they ripped the meat fresh off the cow. They offered to give me a coupon for free appetizer but by then, I was just ready to leave, no food at all. Maybe I came on the wrong night? Maybe it was too busy and that's why there was so much mistakes? Maybe it's because their new? Either way, I'm never coming back to find out. read more

I've been here twice and both times the food was really good. I had a buffalo wrap the first time and their dirty chicken sandwich the next. Highly recommend both of these. I was a little nervous about the chicken sandwich but it ended up being amazing. Their fries are also really good. Our waitress both times was very attentive. It was very clean as well. Some food choices are excellent, the steaks are not. They're tuff and reheated from frozen. Their beer choices are excellent, for a restaurant chain. The service is not great, I've only had good service in the past 5 or 6 times I've been. The meals can be expensive, if your on a budget. read more
