So, not wanting to repeat this on the drive back to Dallas (where I live now) I took my truck up there to have it inspected. After a long and sad series of events, I was ultimately turned away because of sheer doucheiness. My whole experience lacked the certain West Texan hospitality that I hoped would help me get inspected quick and be on my way. Needless to say, I won't be dealing with this family or business again.

We called ahead to confirm with the Walmart Tire Center that they could fix our flat tire. We were…read moretold they had no customers and could fit us in right away, so we drove over immediately. When we arrived (just a few minutes later), we were informed that due to Walmart policy they could not repair the tire but would install the spare instead. We decided to leave the vehicle, expecting the work to be done promptly since there were no other customers at the time. Unfortunately, when we returned 2 1/2 hours later, the vehicle had not even been touched. This was very disappointing and a waste of our time, especially after being told they could take care of it right away. We understand that policies and procedures may limit what can be done, but the lack of communication and follow-through was extremely frustrating. Clear, accurate information and timely service would have made a big difference.

My son had an accident on the way to his first year of classes at West Texas A&M in Canyon. We…read moremanaged to patch the car together on the road and complete the trip to the school, but then had to find a body shop to repair the car. I visited three, and got quotes from each. Canyon View's estimate (based on used parts) came in at less than half that of the other two shops. The owner, Kenneth Jones, did a superb job, and trusted me to get the payment to him from out of state after my son had already retrieved the car from his shop. On top of that, he even bought raffle tickets from my son to help defray costs for his college baseball team! Folks, if you are in an accident in Canyon, take your ride to Canyon View Autobody Shop.
