I went the day after Christmas with a group of friends and family looking forward to some holiday fun. We had a choice between this and Bowlero and chose this location because it was closer. We probably should've gone to Bowlero. This is a basic low-quality bowling alley still stuck in the 90s and desperately in need of an update. The bathroom had a moldy smell and there were lots of stained ceiling tiles and dust in the air vents. Even the arcade games looked like they were original and the snacks in the vending machines look like they had been sitting there for a very long time. Our ball often got stuck in the lane and the computer messed up our scoring a couple of times. Even the graphics that play after you score is pretty basic. I don't know if there was food which is odd because most of the bowling alleys I have been to people are ordering pizzas and sodas and I didn't see anyone eating. There is a bar that serves alcohol but given the condition of the rest of the place I personally wouldn't have a drink there. Selection of balls was also minimal and I made sure to thoroughly wash my hands after we played because I'm afraid of whether those balls have been cleaned or sanitized ever. We chose to bowl for one hour. As our time was nearing the end the words "the end of your session is near" scrolled across the screen. However, it didn't tell us how much more time we had left. Then in the middle of a game delay just shut down. It would've been better for it to tell us that we have five or 10 minutes left to play. I still had a good time because of the group of people that I was with. If you're looking for some really basic bowling this is a place to go to but with so many bowling alleys becoming more upgraded centers of entertainment, these guys are light-years behind. read more

ehhh a little sad with this place. Try to come here and there was 5 lanes open. I understand there is a league but the guy at the counter wasn't nice about it. Told me.. "duh you see it's busy, I don't have any lanes." We always come here and that put a bad taste in my mouth. Like you can be a little nicer. I get it, there is a league and that's where your money comes from to pay the bills but be a little nicer because after that I went to the closest bowling alley on Rt 9 by Walmart that's not as dusty or outdated as this bowling alley. Went for New Year's Eve party and was very pleased. Asthetically, it's no different than any other bowling alley you'll come in the area. A little dark, a bit outdated and air a bit stale. It's bowling! What do you expect? The people running the show, however, did a good job. The event was fun and we'll organized. Pricing was fair and I had the impression they really wanted our group to enjoy. We did. While not equal to a 5 star dinner or heading to Times Square, it was great fun. When I called to inquire about pricing and hours, the gentleman who answered was very curt/snappy. We decided to go anyway because New Brunswick Zone had a hour wait. When I got there, the same gentleman who I believe I spoke to less than 20 minutes ago was quite pleasant. I noticed immediately when we got there that it wasn't crowded -especially for a Saturday night. Majority of the lanes were open. The music was ok but it's via Pandora so you get what you get. Their bathroom could use a major reconstruction. Actually, it made my skin crawl; however I AM a germaphobe. The snack bar was closed, so I can't comment on that. I messed up below... that was a review of a different bowling alley. This is a small joint with digital scoring, but probably the first system that ever came out. That said, our lane never broke down. It was 88 degrees outside, and maybe 80 inside. The fans overhead were not on. That said, 2$ rental and 2$ a game on a Saturday is an amazing deal. Needs updating. Check for open bowling it can get crowded at times. Line to the bar can be annoying and the food choices are limited, especially for Gluten Free allergies or Vegan since they use the same fryer. read more

My friends and I decided to meet up and try this bowling ally out. Parking spaces was a bit small but not a big deal bc it was Saturday night and there was a fair amount of parking. So $42 for 4 people 3 reantals and one hour a bowling. Kinda on the high side for how small it is (25-30 lanes). B4 we started bowling this 3 year old kid put a dinosaur ramp infront of our lane. So I just moved it to the next lane (no one was bowling there). I grab my bowling ball and this lady says who moved this dinosaur. And then said don't touch a 3 year old stuff. I was like what ever. Later found she worked there. Also we got a pitcher of beer (yuengling) and gosh is was disgusting. If ur getting beer get bottles. Idk if the taps are not cleen or what. This is my first Yelp review , I usually never like to make any comments about people's businesses but this place deserves my review. First off bad customer service . As soon as I got there the guy in the front gave me an attitude because I didn't understand his question of "how many people are coming with you" he then stated that they closed at 5:30 mind you we got there at 4:15pm and it clearly says 6:00pm is the time they closed . It's overpriced for such a shitty outdated place . Also we came with kids and as you may know kids tend to make a lot of noise . My son who is two years old was being wild and one of the workers maybe even the owner looks at my family and with an attitude comments "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" I responded to him and said "are you kidding me what? They are just kids they make noise are you serious". I will never again come back to this place. Awesome awesome awesome! Great prices, great staff, I went to majestic lanes the other day and YUCK HORRIBLE the whole time I wished I was at Woodbridge bowling center. They have bowling balls fit for the needs of all, I am not the strongest girl and they had weight low enough for my weak wrist but majestic didn't.... they sucked. Woodbridge is super retro, little outdated inside but that's one of the best parts! I love it here so much and it isn't given the credit it deserves. Great drink prices as well! :) read more

Horrible customer service. I have probably been to 10 different bowling alleys and this has to be the worst one ever. The manager that works here is extremely rude, arrogant and condescending. If any of the customers do anything minutely wrong, the manager gets on the microphone and announces insulting comments. He is just full of hate. He should be fired or this place will get sued soon. read more

Go on a Monday or Tuesday, get a bar pie and 10 wings for $10 and thank me later! That was delicious and the prices were pretty good. This is a nice,little dive bowling ally. I came here recently after a multiple year hiatus from bowling. Guess what, it was freaking awesome. I had a good time trying to crush my friends in bowling. I arrived at night and the music was bumping. I'm not sure if they always play loud music, I'm assuming not. They were probably catering to the young Friday night crowd. Like i said earlier, this is a divey place. There is nothing new about this place. Except the shoes I got ,ironically, were brand new. The place had a full bar, and a little food court. I don't think I need to explain the food that you get at a bowling ally. I had a few fun hours without eating or drinking anything. In the end, the night of bowling was nine dollars for three people. One dollar for the shoe rental and a dollar per game. That is an outstanding deal they have. The prices were advertised through the summer, but I'm pretty sure they will just keep these prices from now on. Woodbride bowling center was a good time for a good price. read more

The blue collar managers and staff are very rude and talk down to you. They also yell on the microphone at the customers and it's only sometimes for good reasons. If a customer is throwing the ball in the wrong lane, they should speak privately and not yell on the microphone. The blue collar republican staff should be classier. Not nice. read more

Saturday night pricing consist of $30 a lane for an hour plus shoe rental which was $4, paid $42 for three individuals. Very pricey for a very old school bowling alley with no cosmic bowling, nothing modern about it at all. For that reason alone I will not be returning here. They do have a snack bar which was closed upon our arrival @ 11:15pm and a bar which was still open. Music runs off pandora so no request. Oh and you can play the lotto, gotta be in it to win it! Compared to the more popular bowling places this alley was not crowded with large groups of people on a lane and there was no wait. Staff was really friendly, lanes was in good shape. The guy at the bar even offered to bring our drinks down to the lane for us. What a tired old bowling alley with high prices. I made the awful mistake of having my sons 7th birthday party here and it was a mess! The host we were given was incompetent. I had 5 kids playing in one lane which means they barely played one game in the allotted birthday party time. Once we were squeezed into this dingy, small party room, the pizzas were burnt, there were no plates, knife or forks for the cake (that i had to bring along with NO goodie bags provided). We were supposed to get a bowling pin during the party for all the kids to sign which we never got. PLEASE do not go here, there are other bowling alleys in the area!! read more

This place is GREAT!!!! These guys are so accommodating. We were coming with a really big crowd and needed several lanes-- Dave was great from the first phone call. The prices were better than any other place I called and everyone was SO NICE. They even offered to turn on our own music. Our first time here during the summer dollar season. Great that so many things are a dollar but this place is so old and outdated. Very disappointing even at a dollar for everything. Very few bowling balls that you have to deal with balls that just don't fit. Bumpers are up or down the entire game. Shoes are old and overly worn. Pins constantly jam and have to be manually fixed. Seating arrangement is terrible. You have to cross over the neighboring lane to get to yours. When you walk into the place it smells like a old pool. We would have rather spent the money on a real bowling alley. Avoid at all costs. Good place for old drunks to hangout. Do not even consider having a party here you will embarrass yourself. read more
