Was I serious? Absolutely! Menopause will do that! The glazed cronuts? Equally dangerous. I bought a dozen to share and somehow made it home with three and a story that started with, "They must have shorted me." Amazing staff. Incredible doughnuts. This is one of Lorton's hidden gems. But let me give you one piece of advice: Get there EARLY. Nothing hurts more than walking in with your heart set on an apple fritter, only to watch the person in front of you buy the last one. Baby, that's the kind of disappointment you think about all day. Buy extras. Trust me. These doughnuts will have you saying things you don't mean and protecting your box like it's family heirlooms. Long story short: WORTH THE CALORIES

It's a busy place, but with plenty of workers, so the line went fast. No seats inside, so definitely a to-go place with plenty of parking outside. It's really cool, too, that you can pick your filling for the fillable ones. I also noticed they do sell coffee, as well. In the area? Check Them Out!

This bakery is nearly identical, and they even have salsa music playing in the background. I also got the impression that is a family run bakery. They feature an extensive menu of cakes and pies that can be made to order. But the main part of the bakery has several dozen displays of various pasties and baked goods. This was an great find for me, and I couldn't help myself, so I got three different pastries. I bought two conchas, and one cinnamon and pecan roll. All three of them together were less than $7.00. I wish I could find a bakery like this a little closer to the city

From breads to cakes to cookies , they had it all. The dulce de leche cake was my favorite dessert. But the breakout star?? THE SALTEÑAS! I had never heard of it before but seeing how it was so packed inside I had to try what they're known for. OH MY WORD! It's a party of flavors! Why would I even get a Panera soup bowl again when I could have this sweet and savory soup inside of a perfectly baked pastry? I couldn't wait to eat it! I didn't even leave the parking lot and I had devoured it I got the chicken but I can't wait to come back and try the others. This place was exceptional!

Ive been coming here for many years.. employees have for the most part been nice…read more The nice thing is the location is easy to get to, it is a combined baskin and dunkin location, and literally open 24 hours, as well as a drive-thru. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of issues with employees not answering phones at this location. It is a 24 hour location, but even if you call during the evening like between 7pm till 12am, many times they dont even answer the phone. This is especially frustrating because it is a longer drive than other dunkin locations, and sometimes for higher demand or new, limited edition items you need to know if items you want are in stock. If employees dont answer the phone, and you drive there and items are gone then its a big waste of time. Also, sometimes they dont even have the new baskin Robbins flavor of the month, or, only have one of the two or three new flavors available. They unfortunately do not update the stock of items on their mobile app either. Normally the dunkin app informs you as to which items are still in stock at a particular location- but this system has to be updated throughout the day by employees at the store. The mobile app will tell you all the items are fully stocked at this location and available to order- and then you place the order, drive there, find out the items are not in stock- then the employees claim they arent even able to refund you for the order and tell you to contact dunkin mobile app support for assistance- which can work out but not with the regularity this location sells out of stock items for- the mobile app customer service will get suspicious if you continuously reach out requesting refunds for orders- even if the real cause of the refund requests is the store employees asking you to contact them. These ongoing issues caused some frustration with this location over the years, and I was willing to overlook it and continue coming here, until the final straw. For years, if you ordered an iced latte or iced refresher of any kind, and asked for no ice, they would gladly oblige you and give you a drink with no ice and still fill it up to the top. However, a few months back, I asked for no ice on an iced matcha latte- this time the person on the drive thru speaker informed me that if I were to get no ice on the drink, they would only fill half the cup with the latte. I asked why, and asked if he could still fill the cup all the way. The employee said no, but said he could just do less ice instead of no ice, and still fill the cup all the way. I accepted his offer, and continued with the order. I got my latte, drank it, and, literally half the cup was full of ice. Which is completely ridiculous. I was also confused as to how this amount of ice is considered "less ice". I think the stereotype of dunkin is that it is a cheaper restaurant than places like starbucks, panera, or paris baguette. But it actually isnt. Their large iced latte costs around $6.00, is a 32 oz cup, and is roughly the same price as what starbucks would charge you for a similarly sized latte. Ive seen the milk dunkin uses for their lattes, and its just standard non organic whole milk you can find at any grocery store. Us consumers can purchase a gallon of milk of that quality for only $3 or so- which means a massive company like dunkin can probably purchase it for far cheaper- perhaps $2 a gallon. Their large latte cups are 32 ounces, so even if they fill the cup all the way with milk, no ice, it's still only a quarter of a gallon. At $6 per large latte, they are still charging a significant premium even if they offer large lattes with no ice. I used to go to dunkin every month, even twice a month, anytime they released a new bakery item, a new donut flavor, or a new syrup flavor for their lattes or refreshers. Now, because of them refusing to offer lattes with no ice, I have stopped going entirely, other than maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and even in those cases only to try a new bakery item or donut flavor- I no longer purchase their lattes. All of their competitors, even mcdonalds, allow you to get no ice in their drinks with no upcharge and no issues.

Introduction to work-prospective of the start of Covid in March 2020:…read more Representing 2020, W is for Water's End Brewery, which I visited in the early Covid days in March 2020. This week in 2026 is the 6 year anniversary of when things were shutting down from Covid. On Monday, 3/16/20, I was very busy in the office preparing for roughly 80% in office/20% work at home (not counting any work travel) to 100% work at home starting the next day as virtual meeting company President said office is shutting down for the time-being. That next day, Tuesday, 3/17/20, I had work travel to Prince William County as we were trying to get stuff work done, and any day they could've shut their doors, which I think they did on Thursday, 3/19/20. They had gotten rid of the comfortable seating and had individual chairs spaced far apart and tape to stay 6 feet away from representative I needed to see. Any paper, etc being handed involved a bit of stretching, but we made do, and I got the work done. Experience at Water's End Brewery: My girlfriend of the time tagged along for my work travel. Before we got to my Prince William County work, we stopped for pizza slices in this same center for lunch. We saw Water's End Brewery out there selling beer to go since their indoor brewery was closed to the public. My g/f wanted, and I think we bought 2 beers to take to go. Staff was very nice, and the beer was pretty good. Conclusion: That Spring I had one more work travel to Prince William County on Friday, 4/24/20. Of course, the building was shutdown. They had a bunch of big drop-boxes outside, which someone would pick up once a day. Made my job easier except for the 2 minutes I was making sure I was putting in the correct drop-box. But a lot faster than going in to do the work dealing with the people. Also, on 4/24/20, I smashed the record for longest without getting gas, 38 days. I had gotten gas on 3/17/20 in PW County, and then 38 days later on 4/24/20 as the gas was very cheap in PW County then. Interestingly, as I write this today, 3/12/26, I'm currently tied at 38 days without getting gas (It was Mon., 2/2/26) & may go several days longer without. I would've never bet that break this Covid-era record in pre-retirement life, but I had major surgery on 2/9 & was in hospital for 16 days + a few days at home without driving right after hospital.
